I heard about Bar Tuv a few years ago from friends but never ventured to try it out until a few months ago and now I'm hooked. I've been there 10 times! Before trying it I thought how good could a local restaurant/bar be in an industrial zone in Har Tuv. But it's that good on all fronts. The customer service at Bar Tuv is excellent. They greet their customers with a warm welcome, are attentive to each table and are happy to please patrons with complimentary chasers and dishes from their menu. The Bar Tuv burger is one of the best burgers I've had in Israel and their home brew beer is also one of my favorite beers. The beer is light and refreshing with a high alcohol content. Among the other alcohols they offer they have a nice cocktail option which I've had on several occasions. Every time I'm there I order their fried breaded cauliflower which are so delicious. If you don't drink alcohol then go just to have a burger and that cauliflower, you won't be sorry. I once went with friends and they ordered a vegetable platter which I thought was strange at the time. It happens to be they make a lovely vegetable platter and I have since ordered it myself on multiple occasions. A perfect dish to order when you're not that hungry but want a night out. We often like to order their edamame as a starter but many times before we ever get a chance to order they have brought us the edamame on the house. The Bar Tuv vibe is nice and chill with indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I prefer sitting indoors since we are non smokers and the seating happens to be more comfortable inside. We have sat outside on occasion but don't find the outdoors as nice and the chairs are definitely not as comfortable. The bathroom is pretty cool with a very on point wine barrel sink. The best part about Bar Tuv for me is it's a five minute drive from my house in Beit Shemesh which makes it very appealing when I want to go out for a good meal but don't want to go far. Great local beer. The staff are very friendly. Second time around and staff are still friendly. Great place to hangout and just chill.

Get the lamb burger, you won’t be sorry. Rotem was our server tonight and she was amazing! She explained everything to me in English so my husband didn’t have to translate. She was happy to explain the menu to me and let me sample the beer. Highly recommend!
