The service i recieved on the 29th in the morning from the 2 ladies was very poor. They were grumpy n not willing to show us the hotel and what they have to offer. I have a background in hospitality and that kind of attitude does not give a good image of the hotel and kills revenue of the business.

Nice place away from congested zones. However, the hotel has to improve on proving irons in the rooms for self-service rather than charging USD1 for one item

The hotel is currently being rennovated and occupancy on the low side. The meals can improve. The choice of TV channels is limited to two in the deluxe rooms am sure they can improve on it.

The new management is trying. Waiters well groomed.... But like Zimbabwe most of these things need a miracle to turn around

Beautiful gardens. A great place to hang out. With kids at the weekend. Without kids on an evening during the week. Good food. Fast service. Need to create a uniform service culture in the staff. Some are efficient and friendly. Others not quite so.

Mazowe Hotel is one of the famous hotels in Zimbwabwe. We sat outside around the swimming pool area and ordered stew and braai pork chops. We stopped at Mazowe hotel for lunch as we were on route to Domboshawa Caves. The kids had an amazing swim cooling off from the not so forgiving temperatures of Zimbwabwe. A perfect day indeed a day I shall forever talk about.

Visited MAzowe hotel in mid October and the rains had just started. It was a cool atmosphere with peacocks 🦚 giving a scenic advantage to the sight. Besides the general rehabilitation needed to the buildings, sprucing up by cleaning and keeping the area fresh rather than dingy would go a long way. Spider and cobwebs need to be removed, lighting needs improvement in the conference rooms. Meals were great!!

Mazowe is almost a 40km drive through the Golden Stairs from Harare. It is an awakening Giant surrounded by gold enterprises both within the formal and informal sectors This then exposes the Mazowe Hotel to a lucrative accomodation , restuarent and casino facilities also surrounded by a quite upcoming middle income Community and the Mazowe Dam resort for a variety of water sports, braing facilities and entertainment.

The room was okay. The main issue we had was the availability of electricity, there was no hot water, the building needs some tlc, the air condition was throwing ice blocks. Price was fair though.
