I am writing this review while I am at the hotel right now location is near the haram but you will walk a little bit to reach it as the doors are nearly 1 km away walking may be more but it may be the worst food I have had in any hotel I stayed in before. It is not about the variety it is about the quality of food even the bread you feel it is backed since a couple of days and the croissants is made of the same bread material Room service the worst thing in this hotel you must ask and call them a lot of times in order to have your request done even I asked the guy to pick the trash and left it for him outdoor and he was there doing another room but he left without picking it and you keep asking for new towels or any other default amenities you need The safe box is not working and they changed it 2 times till now and it is still not working Other Hotel facilities are good and the reception guys are helpful but they are the only ones here It is my 1st time in this hotel and it will be my last one for sure

Must consider review before booking This is the worst 5 star hotel I have been too. Too small unclean rooms. The receptionists don't know how to talk to guests. If you have confirmed your stay earlier they will treat you like goons. The worst side of the hotel is the location. You have to literally ride a 20 meter high road on the way back to hotel from haram. And trust me you would rather prefer walking 300 meters in the sun than this 100 meter steep road. Completely rubbish experience overall. I had my old parents with me. It was painful experience for them considering their health. Money down the drain.

This hotel was perfect - thank you for making our Makkah trip comfortable and easy. It was just close enough and very clean. The breakfast was quantity rather than quality, but I was not that fussed - so it didn't bother me.

Stayed during Umra trip. Haram is at 10 minutes walk so well suited to stay for Umra & Haj . Breakfast is good. Rooms r comfortable to stay. Service needs to improve. Overall one can rate it in good grade hotel!

I’ve been to many hotels but this by far was the worst hotel I have ever been to. I had 3 rooms booked for 4pm however once we arrived after a very long journey the rooms were not ready till 6 hours and 28 minutes later which then caused issues with me performing my umrah. After we got to our room it was still messy, the floor had biscuit crumbs there was no towels, toilet roll, water and no restocked condiments. During the stay we had many issues for example the rooms was never cleaned out for us and room service said they would send someone up however they never did after calling 4 times. I had to go down personally and ask them however the staff/managers were useless and did not bother helping at all. Considering I had 3 of my elderly aunties who cannot stand for long this made it even more difficult for them. I was disgusted and appalled at how unbothered they were. If I could leave a review in the negatives I 100% would however that is not possible. I would not recommend this hotel at all -8/10

This was a good hotel, rooms were clean though a little outdated and need some modernising Staff were helpful. Food was plentiful and breakfast was great. Dinner was alrite but repetitive if anything. Location was close enough, but older pilgrims will find the walk a struggle. I wouldn't say it's a 5* hotel more like a 4* at best.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and I can definitely recommend it. The location is great, close to the mosque and you will always come to every prayer at time. The rooms are a little smaller than I expected, but with very comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy throughout the hotel and room. People are always at your service if you need anything in your room. The breakfast was good. The food was fresh, hot and varied, sometimes I found something too greasy and too spicy, but I realized that people there just love it that way. 👍🏻

The hotel is very nice. More than these five star ratings The pinnacle of sophistication, cleanliness and distinguished service. The food is very varied. And very close to the Grand Mosque. There is an escalator from the hotel that will take you directly to Al-Haram Street. We spent an irreplaceable time. And the year, God willing, I will go back to it again. Because I can't find a better one. at its price segment. There is no significant difference between it and the hotels in the courtyard of the Haram, even in the matter of distance. It does not exceed a minute's walk with the huge price difference between them

It's okay, but the staff cannot handle the volume of people they are not organized. The lifts also can't handle the volume of people. Also they did not ask to check my Tawakalna 😮‍💨 There was too much noise on the floor that I was on. With regards to cleanliness and food I would give it a 3. Will not be booking here again. It's only good because it's close to the Haram. This hotel is not up to 5 star standard.

Great 5star hotel had a very pleasant stay. Rooms are cleaned daily beds are comfortable and cosy. Free complimentary tea water etc. Free complimentary toiletries bathrobe slippers etc. Air conditioning is always freezing so no complaints there. Building is big and can get a bit confusing as so many elevators. But overall experience is very good.

Wonderful hotel. The management and staff were very helpful, professional and courteous. The food was delicious and they had a variety in place that caters for different tastes and likings. Very well managed and organized that we were impressed with the number of people staying there and how it was going very smoothly. It was also clean and close to the Haram. There is also an extension of the Haram under construction that is almost adjacent to the hotel. We enjoyed staying there and would definitely book again.

Sorry, I am reversing my review from 4star to 1star. The stay was good, but after 2 days of I checked out they automatically deduct money from my bank account. And I have no idea why. So they took the reservation amount twice without my permission. and still I am unable to take my money back.

I wish there was a zero or negative rating. Check-in time is at 4, we arrived a bit early maybe we can check-in yet had to wait. At 4 the room was still not ready and staff working in the room. After all of that we entered the room that was extremely dirty nuts on the carpet, dust on tables and tissues on the carpet. One of the toilets smelled so bad as if it wasn’t cleaned. Beds are not comfortable at all. No slippers in the room. No bath robe for shower. There is a Nespresso machine with no capsules; if you don’t want to add capsules remove the machine. The fridge was empty, 3 or 4 water bottles were in the room. When I book a Junior suite at a 5 star hotel, I would expect more!!

Amazing hotel in all categories, friendly reception, comfortable rooms and excellent services And the breakfast was one of the best I had in my life, really everything is tasty and fresh. I will always book in this hotel inshallah. Oh, one more thing, it happened that I lost my flippers in haram, and I had to walk barefoot to my hotel, it only took me less than 3 min, that’s how much it is close to haram

Hotel location is 10/10. Can hear the imam recite from the hotel. Very close to the mosque as wel, walking distance around 5 minute. Very clean, food is very nice too, very tall and big. They have shops inside as well as barber and supermarket and more shops. Location is perfect. Staff are helpful however it’s very busy here because close to masjid and also take long time to speak to reception. They will kindly hold your bags too if needed. Rooms are nice and clean

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and I have few notes: There were two cups in the room for coffee one of them was dirty so after calling reception room service comes and just clean the cup just using water from the room I asked for changing the cup but he said we don't change (!!!!) Room service not all of them can understand either Arabic or English. Room service comes everyday. Reception people not very welcoming (not with me but I saw how they dealing with someone else) Even they gave me a card with WiFi password on it but it was very slow on the room all the time of my staying. The location is very good and too close to Haram. Breakfast was good for me.

Room is well equipped with everything and service from staff is 10/10. Breakfast has a wide variety but most food need either bit more cooking or more flavour. The staff are very nice and they need more appreciation because it looks like you look down on my own kind (Bengali), dont treat them like dogs!

Great room and services. Located a bit far from the main Haram Mosque. Needed to walk quite a distance across the busy road. It has great views on some rooms. Close to some shopping malls. Food menu is limited options and needed to be improved

Very good and super clean, friendly people The place has multiple views depending on the room you book, I dare say all the views are great. The buffet was very very tasty with a variety of choices. If you have an elderly with you you might find it just a tiny bit far, but normally it’s very walkable to the Haram Totally recommended

The hotel is more than amazing and just a 5 minute walk to Haraam. The staff are amazing and so helpful. All are humble and have very fast response to your requirements. Mr. Salem Al Ansari is a real hero who can help you with anything and I really wanted to thank him through this review.

The location is relatively OK, you have to walk for about 5-8 minutes to King Abdullah Gate. The furniture is average & due for replacement. The car parking is limited, unshaded, and not free for guests!! You may find better quality with the same price..

Stayed here during Ramadan with my family. First time at this hotel. The hotel is huge with so many rooms across both towers. Central location with own entrance to haram which was great, as you don’t get the big crowd near clock tower. Service was great, food was good and the courtyard area outside the hotel was great.

A good hotel, good size rooms with everything ( iron, ironing board, tea & coffee facility, mini fridge, toiletries, towels, bathrobe, big fitted wardrobes). Downside cleaners come everyday and top up the freebies/toiletries but never make the bed, vacuum the floor or clean the bathroom till you don't ask them to. Hotel is literally across the road from the masjid but to the actual kabba it's a good 20 minutes walk.

It's a lovely hotel and the service is great however the quad rooms were much too small and squashed. We barely had any space to pray our sunnah prayers. They really should make the quad rooms bigger because I didn't expect such a small squashed room from a 5 star hotel.

This was overall a less than adequate service we were expecting from a 5 star hotel. Our first impression was not good as we had arrived at the hotel quite tired ony to find that our cards for entering the room were not working. Rather than sending a member of staff to the room to help us, the reception team got us to travel to and from the room 4 times till the issue was sorted. This then happened the next day as well. Definitely not a 5 star service. We felt overall the staff was not up to scratch and we will think twice before booking this hotel again.

There was no cattle in the room when I ordered, they delivered on time after making tea I went to change change water from the cattle I find out died insects 🐜 inside. I complained them but no response. I am still in the hotel I booked from 7 October- 10 October will never recommend any body ever again. Also, breakfast is not good at all. Please pay little bit extra and live near by and clean matters a lot when perform Umrah or on holidays. Thanks you

For one the cleaning staff do not clean the rooms when you request them and also don't leave enough bathroom toiletries even when you give them tips. Secondly an Arab male receptionist was rude to us when we went to checkout and also gave preference to there own arab speaking guests

Despite a busy reception and last minute online booking. They have managed to prepare the room quickly on short notice with great support from the receptionist. Great customer experience

This hotel has caused us stress from day 1 - First demanding a deposit in pounds when we insisted we will give in riyals, promising a quad room when it’s only a single room, doors are not soundproof so I am being woken up every night by people conversations in the hallway. Pillows are not fit for purpose - would not recommend.

Hotel room size is ok. Rooms needs maintinance as they are becoming bit old. Location is close to new Haram extension but walking to it is little bit tiring especially for elder people. Breakfast is ok and have varity of food.

Worst experience with house keeping. The first day we checked in, the carpet had dirt on it and could see date seeds lying around, complained so many times but none came to clean and we just lost patience and adjusted until we were there. Breakfast wasn’t great too, survived on Omelette and coffee even after paying so much money. Location is good and the service guys were good that’s it.

Anjum hotel had a really good service the hotel some of the workers were really polite may Allah bless them the room we stayed in was amazing especially seeing the view of the Kaaba and the masjid 😍the breakfast was the best 😍😍so much choice❤️The only thing I would say I’m not happy with was when the security woman at the entrance the way she kept picking on us especially for the Tawakalna app when the first day we got there we were really tired after traveling a long journey and not having to sleep for two nights and then performing the umrah and coming back to this headache about that tawakalna app yet our food we brought from outside went cold and after such a long tiring day the security woman really disappointed us because she was refusing to let us in when it isn’t fair when people traveling so far away pay money to stay in a hotel and this is what we have to deal with.

Excellent hotel. Very clean spacious room. Impressive view. Shower rooms are very clean, good water pressure and shower doesn't leak outside of the shower. AC worked well. Housekeeping visit every day if selected, and remake the room tona very high standard. I only opted for breakfast, and it's probably the best breakfast options I've had. The hotel has excellent customer service throughout from the moment you arrive until check out. Highly recommended.

The worst experience I’ve ever had! This is by far worst hotel experience myself and my family have ever encountered. I really don’t understand how management and staff get away with incompetency and laziness! They really don’t know the meaning of hospitality and management. The rooms were absolutely filthy! Even though we checked in late evening the room wasn’t done and the shower had algae YES algae on the bottom. It was disgusting. There were no coffee, iron, towels and basic toiletries. Good job we brought our own however this shouldn’t be the case. Home cleaning service is an absolute shamble! They’re arrogant and need constant asking for basic things for the room! Called reception several times for assistance but as usual their staff don’t speak English very well and are arrogant and rude. The managers themselves are incompetent so you can’t expect much from their staff! Breakfast is catered for a specific ethnic group, filthy dining experience and staff aren’t bothered or attentive. Everyone seems miserable and that’s the energy they convey! Polar opposite experience compared to Madina experience. On our last day we called reception a few times for concierge to help us take our 5 suitcases to our car however all we got was a rude, incompetent woman telling us we need to wait and someone will come to help us. After 30 minutes we took it downstairs ourselves. The female receptionist come across as they’re I will advise as many friends and family to avoid this terrible hotel. I feel as though since they’ve received a few awards in the past they’ve become lazy and laid back! Ethics are so different compared to other leading, prominent hotels! Only positive thing is Masjid Al Haram is 5 minutes away.

Truly value for money. All aspects of the hotel is above average indeed. However, 1 setback. It’s quite a distant to walk to Kaabah. It’s uphill and downhill too. Overall, nice hotel minus the walk. Great location in terms of being close to many external eateries/shops close by in walking distance. Good size room with beautiful view of Harram. Buffet breakfast was sufficient and amazing. We loved the out door seating too. Overall its amazing experience, and kids loved the place.

Above my expectation, extraordinary Rooms also Food.. Suggested ; indeed should have a little shutle (like a long golf car) to delivere guest/jama'ah to Haram, i think it will be awesome for guest satisfaction..

Excellent management, especially Mr. Hisham, a very nice person. Fantastic reception staff, very friendly, great food, great selection on the breakfast buffet, housekeeping staff are polite. Clean and nice atmosphere, plenty of lifts. Gift shops inside and very close to the Kabah. Will definitely come and stay again. Highly recommended!

I was hesitant about the hotel after reading various reviews on Makkah hotels but I can honestly say we had no problems here. The service was excellent. Whenever I called with an issue it was resolved very promptly. All the staff are very friendly. The location is not bad, still a fair walk to the haram but not too bad for adults alone but as I had kids with me found it a little harder. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone

Great hotel with few mins walk to mosque, breakfast was really good variety, staff were more than helpful. Provided wheelchair service for elderly at no extra cost. Staff were always smiling and happy to help. Room were nice ans clean, however I down point of cleaning room were late. Restaurant food good however its ages for a beef burger or chicken burger. Always a 45 min wait. Other than that all was great.

  • 4/5 Fadoua S. 1 year ago on Google
It's not far from the haram but it's overpriced for what it is. The rooms I was in are small and need a serious cleaning service. Especially the carpet. The service is ok but people could be more informed. The stuff are mostly kind and willing to assist.

The hotel is a 5min walk from Harram & convenient for going to & coming from. The place is clean & comfortable. Staff responded to requests efficiently. The buffet breakfast was really really good with some alterations to the hot menu daily so got a good variety. Would recommend it & would come back myself.

The hotel is nice, the Elevator/lift is plenty more than enough, but the room is so narrow for 4 people. And we can't open the luggage at the same time, Only 1 luggage can opened at a time because the space is so narrow.
