I recently stayed at the hotel and would rate my experience a 5/10. The room was clean, which was a plus. However, my dissatisfaction stemmed from the lack of essential amenities for a couple's stay. There were no extra towels, soap, shampoo, or even an extra toothbrush. For a comfortable stay, these basics should be readily available. Unfortunately, the absence of these items significantly impacted my overall satisfaction with the stay.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided during my stay. Basic services, such as assistance with transferring luggage to our room, were lacking, and we had to handle it ourselves. Additionally, amenities like bottle openers and ice were not readily available. When we inquired about these issues, the staff justified it by stating that it's a budget hotel, despite the fact that we paid over 5,000 rupees. The most frustrating part of our experience was when we needed tea at 6 in the morning due to work commitments. However, we were told that we couldn't get it until 7:30 because they were preparing a buffet. As our office obligations began at 6 am, we had no choice but to order from an external source. Overall, our stay was characterized by poor service and a lack of essential amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to others based on my disappointing experience. Experienced on : 21/12/2023

Under staffed. Long check-in time. No mid night menu. They will make you starve post 11pm. Restaurant staff is a bit rude. No option for Jain food. Empty shampoo bottles in bathroom. Only positive is room was clean and hygienic. Avoid if possible.

No Wallet parking available and we need to park ourself. In parking lot, i had seen a board that parking is at owners responsibility. Which I have never experienced in any of the hotels. They have not provided a room service person to carry the luggage as we did on our own. In the first room they provided, the TV was not working, Electrician came and changed new setup box and then a new TV nothing worked so he went. Then management changed our room. The new room they provided, it has a door and they said it was an interconnected room and however, the door was locked on both sides which was a new surprise to us. The toilet was too small like the ones in flights. Totally the stay over here was so horrible and i would not recommend to any of friends or families.

We had a 2 days stay. We had an early check-in approved but the staff was taking a long time to confirm it when arrived. A coffee took 40mins to be delivered. Very small rooms, but it was clean. NO PRIVACY, there is a door which separates two rooms, and the neighbors can clearly hear even your breathe, which we were not aware of. We had our 1 year old with us and was playing with him. The neighbor knocked in the midnight and told us to be quiet. Overall, It would have been a best experience, if it had sound proofing.

I had a bad experience at ibis hotel. The receptionist was unprofessional and the check-in was delayed. I had booked a room for 8 people at this hotel, but when I arrived, I found out that they did not have any extra beds available. They said that this against their policy where as i clearly asked about this at the time of booking. The duty manager spoke as if i was wrong and he couldn't do anything about it. I felt cheated and disappointed by their poor service and lack of communication. I wish I had booked somewhere else. I do not recommend this hotel to family.

I had a wonderful stay at ibis. Good service and hospitality. Everyone in the front desk was also very polite and very cooperative. Enjoy your stay at Ibis if you are visiting Chennai.

Compact room, with a flight like toilet. Doesn't justify the cost. Minibar is a joke. No swimming pool, which they proudly advertise. Rooms have cardboard walls, be ready to hear gossips of other rooms. Cafeteria - nothing to say, just understand if they put single tables, there is no place to move. Utterly disappointed. Neither booking this nor even recommending this to anyone.

Stay was comforting. Things regarding few management issues are being highlighted below:- 1. Food : B'fast is awesome. Dinner is not up to desired standards at all. 2. I used a laundry service ; not recorded by staff. Had I not told myself; hotel management wouldn't have come to know. 3. Room is excellent. 4. Overall monitoring and management needs definite improvements.

Over 2 days, I was shifted rooms thrice. They did not offer any explanation other than saying "we are shifting everybody in this floor". Housekeeping standards are very low compared to other Ibis hotels. The cleanliness of the room was bad - stained towels, unclean coffee mugs were not paid attention to, non-smoking room filled with cigarette smell! The breakfast spread was good. I have often found Ibis a reliable place to stay. But there seems to be quite some mismanagement in this branch and very low housekeeping standards!

Very good, trendy, near and clean upscale but budget hotel in prime sipcot area. Decent menu and very courteous staff. As an Accor member, you get a nice welcome mocktail. Like it. Thanks

I have pre booked the room at Ibis but still the front office staff took ages to process the check in and they even din't verify the booking properly and asked me lots of irrelevant stuff which gave me lots of frustration. After showing the booking confirmation also they tried to charge me more than the price I booked. Second horrible experience was the staff not allowing me to the restaurant for breakfast saying that my room number is not listed in their guest chart. Even after saying that my stay Is inclusive of breakfast he never cared to listen and asked me to check with the reception and after talking to the reception they said sorry and it's a miscommunication error. I tried to talk to the manager but she has no time to talk to the guest. I hate such type of stays and this is my 4th time bad experience with an accor listed hotels. Coming to stay rooms were very very small in size and amenities are not provided and if you need any thing to the room you have to go down and pick it yourself ..that's the hotel policy which is quite embarrassing and irritating . So a big No to IBIS ever in my life again .

Our stay was done by our company. It was really good and the rooms were very clean. I feel the service could have been better in case of providing dishes and bowls in the room.

Great stay at Ibis Sipcot. We had an early day and had to eat early. The hotel made extra accommodations for us to eat and leave early. Definitely recommended! Gopi was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast delicious!

Food at IBIS Sipcot is extremely classy and tasty! Chef Sounthar is very friendly and have prepped food according to our requirements and we are totally satisfied with all meals we had! Cleanliness is not maintained! Highly recommend to check the sheets and beds before allotment!

Food, service and staff were good. I stayed 3 nights with family and we felt worth of money. All locations is easily reachable from hotel. Nearby other restaurants are available if you wish to have different food etc.

Went for Dinner with my Family. Really enjoyed the ambience and the kind gesture of everyone there. Taste of foods were delicious and they cooked special dishes that we asked and was overwhelmed. Do visit, Highly recommended. Cons : AC was not effective that much. Kindly take a look.

For my office purpose i visit chennai multiple times, I stayed in multiple hotels in sipcot region, ibis chennai rooms are the worst, very small compared to other hotel rooms, staffs were also kind of not caring, But the rooms were clean. But their bathroom, Omg thats horrible, its the smallest bathroom in the world. Their breakfast buffet service is kind of okay. Overall if you prefer cleanliness and bar service opt ibis, otherwise keep it as your last priority

Hospitality of the hotel is very good. Ambience is also good. All the staffs were nice and friendly but I would like to mention Mr. Sourav who attended us in reception, was very much polite and humble. Will surely visit again❤️

Tamilarasan attended us and was very cordial in looking after the food and bar service offered to us. A must visit place for family, friends and office colleagues as well. Food quality is top notch.

The bathroom space felt to be too cramped giving a claustrophobic feeling. It could have been minimum one & half times the present one. There is no space to keep the suitcase. Half of the seating space (Sofa) provided is already not useful due to its location. And one is forced to keep the luggage in the remaining space in Sofa. The linen provided was not that clean. The bath towel was torn ☹️ Overall the stay was comfortable for overnight stay.

However, I did find the Wi-Fi service a bit slow at times, which could be improved for business travelers or those needing a reliable internet connection.

bad experience. the management doesn't know how to resolve problems; blame games and threats are all they do. not worth the money at all just ended up paying extra. other ibis is good but never going back to this one ever again. Don't bother wasting money booking this one find a better place. just go to ibis OMR or city center. sipcot is not worth the travel and time.

We are happy with stay. The service done by rabindra was good. The coffe served by him was very good, and he was so friendly in connecting.And the stay was good. Only thing is the waiting period for check in was long. We request few more change in the interior things. Apart is good

I came for new years and I have to tell that the rooms were kind of similar to that of royal carribeans spectrum of the seas..I totally loved it...They staffs were very Hospitable and greeted us.

Ibis team is really helpful and they take lot of care for keeping guest happy .Special mention of Debopriya other staff members from North East India they are amazing. Food is good and ambience excellent.

The room was good for someone in a budget, however there were minor issues like small leakages and restocking issues during breakfast. Nonetheless, some of the staff was accommodating enough to make up for the lack of such.

The worst ibis hotel I’ve went to. For the price I paid I could have got a better hotel. The service is slow and really bad. Toilets looks like the one you would use in an airplane. And to make it worse I just had a call from the staff asking us to check out on time since they don’t have rooms available when we already confirmed we will have a late checkout. Really pathetic. Waste of my money

We had a lovely stay at Ibis in November 2023. Apart from location of this hotel and perfect view from my room what we enjoyed most was the food. All credit goes to Chef Sounthar who was not just available all the time but ready to customise food of our choice and food is just yummy. Thanks for the treat.

This is a very nice place. The price is nominal. The rooms and other areas are very clean. We enjoyed the view from our room. The service people promise a 10 minute resolution, and keep up to it.

Hello Team, Good part was - Morning Complementary Breakfast. Bad Part - Water was not flowing properly from the Basin. There was no Tooth Paste in the room. Only 1 Big Towel was given and that was smelly and wet. I literally felt dirty while I was using the towel. I depended on hotel's towel as I could not image that the towel quality will be so low from IBIS. Thanks, Swapan Biswas

I was booked a two person room in Hotel Ibis and the rooms are very cozy, well organised and small. But despite the small room size, all facilities are available (except mini fridge). I tried the breakfast buffet and food is good with multiple options. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable experience!

Compact hotel for transit and business meets. Food is great, rooms are compact and friendly. Advisable for short stays and not more than 2 days. Simple check-in, good assistance in reception. They allow outside food, which is great. Rooms are neat and tidy.

Reception desk very rude, zero room service. In the name of cleanliness of the room the staff stole my cash and when complaint about to manager, he was least bothered and was very rude. Highly dissatisfied and not recommended, if management is aware about hotel performance then they are worst

Rooms are small in size, but they are clean and have all the requisite functionalities. Location is a little far from main city. Room Service is good. Only hiccup we faced was that, our pickup from airport was done by ibis, but they sent a very small vehicle and we had to adjust 6 adults in 4 seats of the vehicle. Also, food is of good quality here.

Place was good. Room service was a bit late whenever I called for it. I stayed for 7 days. One plug point was broken, i informed them on first day, they didn't even fix it yet. One of gym treadmill was not working. Breakfast has good variety, but taste varies everyday. No pool / playground.

I was amazed to see such an active housekeeping staff like Mani at housekeeping as he made sure and ensured that all of our needs were met on time and attended professionally. when i requested for some extra amenities and toiletries for some of my particular need. he extended his courteous gesture and visited us and we liked to see such a courteous staff.Overall its a great experience in ibis

Excellent hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. Very good interiors. The room and bathroom cubicles are small but the space is utilized very well and we never felt cramped for two people. The locality is also good with access to other restaurants and shopping places. Real value for money.

I booked rooms for my wedding guests. The stay was excellent. Every guest of mine enjoyed the stay. And special thing about the stay is, they have arranged a wedding cake celebration for me and my husband. And the house keeping team decorated our bed with flowers. We both felt special and happy. They allow PETS !!!! What else to say. One of the very few places allowing pets. Amazing. Apart from that, their customer service is bad. But their front office staff are very very poor. They make you wait for ages before u check in and also the same for check out.

Good hotel to stay amid COVID situations, comfort and easily connected

The service and staff is excellent, Mr.dravid in reception is very very decent and polite.food taste is awesome and their live counter in buffet never said no for some special request for my daughter infact they specially came and ask her.. so it’s home away home.. budget hotel so rooms are conjusted for a family stay but they provided extra bedding and extra packed drinking water.. gym is best part of it 24hrs open and equipment’s are very nice.. parking also ample space and mall and beach are easily accessable.. So for me it was one of the best experience

Horrible experience. No food service post 10pm. There is already curfew at 10 for outlets so we cannot get any food from outside but atleast midnight menu shud have been available for guests who check in late. Plus plate supplies are self assisted and they don't provide at room which is terrible. Least they could do is to make it available for outside food as they themselves don't provide it inside. Last but not least multiple calls made to reception and other extensions but seems hotel staff vanished. All this exp in 1 night stay on 5th Oct

I had a great experience of stayed ibis Chennai Sipcot for 3 days. All the service was extremely amezing! Mr. Sukant took extra care for my staying & mobility needs there As I am a wheelchair user national para athlete and I had my sport competition at Tamil Nadu sport university which is near from this Hotel. I was very happy to get comfortable, peaceful place for stay and service on time breakfast which need as a player during competition, as well as gym facility and accessibility to go there for my daily workout. After my competition every night I enjoyed my dinner, variety of food & taste was nice. Room was perfect and clean. Coopration & behavior of all staff specially dining staff. In future would like to give preference for my accomondation again to ibis hotel branches whenever my next sport competition in different state too.

Ibis Chennai sipcot is v good,they provide good quality Food n variety of food.Queen room is good too, it's interior furniture is also good for doing office work. Staff r v caring n on time Service.House keeping is also good. 3nights stay with breakfast n dinner@8653(approx)... If looking for budget hotel than its a rt choice. They also provide cab facility within 5km. Altogether it was a v good stay in Ibis👌👌

I had stay for 2 nights here during my corporate Meeting. I found this place very pleasent and hygiene. Nice staff to welcome and serve with beautiful smile on face. They served meals with smile. Attend all queries n concerns with patience and smile. Thanks team ibis for given me best services and made my stay so comfortable. Will choose this place on my next trip.

Basically the property is a fine property, I would not say it's a luxury property but you can have a very good and quiet stay there. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is fine however I have experienced one thing which could be improved because the hotel staff is a little ignorant and are not on their toes in terms of assisting the customers and making their experience wonderful. Upon asking the services which we were looking for were provided and I think it's fine.

This has been the most comfortable stay. The property is good and the ambience is great. Along with that the food is amazing and the staffs are all really cooperative. I would like to mention mr Sourav, he attended us with a smile on his face and was really helpful while checking in. Great spirit. Keep up the good work.

Location was the only good thing. Rooms were small and cumbersome, but manageable. Towels given were bad and it took them one hour to replace. Similar was the case with food. Niether the quality nor the quantity or price were good. Had an unsatisfied night stay...

Everything is good except the fact that I was not able to use my work laptop. I was not able to connect to my workplace vpn as the network provided by the hotel is open network and my vpn needed the network to be a private network. Other than that everything was fine. Clean hotel. Good food was available in the hotel. Easy to travel with Uber from the hotel. Overall very satisfied with the hotel for the price of the stay.

Greetings! Hotel ibis has everything that anyone would expect on a small offical deputation. Pros: 1. The highlights were complementary dinner buffet and "one-day" laundry. 2. The food was delicious and overwhelming. 3.Even though the room is smaller than normal, but they have equipped it with lot of small and most required amenities. 4. The house keeps were friendly and responsive. They would go beyond the the call of duty to find a solution for your requirements. Cons: 1. Most of the calls to reception either were not answered or answered with considerable delay. 2. It is better to ask house keeps in ur floor for quicker solution than to ask receptionist as they would take too much time and often requires many reminders to get the same job done. 3. There is no staircase. Only option is to use one of the two elevators. Guest are permitted to go only to the floor where their room is. Even for that they require the smart card to be swiped. Often that card gets deactivated and there you are stranded. At such times you have depend upon (wait) the busiest receptionist assistance to go to your floor. 4. The rooms and the hallways are completely sealed and air conditioned. There is no way to get outside ventilation. Means you cannot dry anything in room. Conclusion: The Cons I have mentioned are negligible compared to the service and quality of stay they offered. At the outset, it is cheap, best and offers a wholesome package. Recommended.

Everything works (air conditioning, Wi-Fi etc.). The hotel ambience & location & very good. The service is excellent. However, cheap materials seem to have been used for furniture, fixtures & fittings in the bedroom & bathroom, as these are worn, the shower & taps are scaled & so don’t look clean.

Very good food and ambience. Communication was clear and price is reasonable. Service was very good . Every staff was welcoming. We came with our family of 17 and every person was served with a smile. Thank you Ibis sipcot team.

I stayed here with my family for 4 nights. Rooms are pretty clean and tidy, and service was great. A special mention of Sandipan who was very courteous at the dinning service and helped us a lot. Food was awesome. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are good and clean, since it’s a business hotel and for the price, rooms are quite small so can’t expect more. It’s ideal for couples or solo travelers and not ideal for a family with kids due to the size. 3 stars is due to the rude and inconsiderate behavior by the staff at the bar and hotel and night staff at the reception. I am still a guest in the hotel until Sep 20th so one can imagine the disappointment if I am writing this review on day 1.

Stayed here for a business travel. Strictly A decent stay with some great breakfast options. They don't pay heed to cleaning, as I found a couple of hair on the pillows and in the bathroom. Didn't take a picture of it, but if I visit next time, I'm sure I'll find it.. Because this isn't the first time i found hair on my pillows, at the same hotel. Lol.

Stay was good almost the way I expected it to be. Hotel staff is super cool and well trained and is ready to help/serve you all the time. I have been assisted by Ms. Lakxmi at the front desk for most of the part of my stay and I have found her to be excellent in helping me to navigate through all my requirements.

The location of this place is good. Its a budget friendly hotel so you cant expect much . However, you would definitely expect customer service to be good even in small joint which this place really lacks. The service From the beginning was off. I noticed that the front desk reception was not sure of what they are doing. At the time of check-out I was mistakenly charged 13000 instead of 1300. Which I only noticed after 2 week. With multiple calls I was told the refund will be processed in 10 days. However, the hotel has did not process the full amount instead they have reduced the 1300 which I needed to pay and processed the rest. I assumed that a full refund would be processed given that it was a major blunder made in there part. This show how bad the hotel is with in interns of customer satisfaction. I would definitely wouldn’t visit this place again nor recommend it to anyone else.

The hospitality provided was too good and all the staffs were very helpful all the times. Need to say about the Breakfast, Breakfast was really amazing and with lots of varieties, even though it is complementry the quality maintained was too good, the staffs especially Satyam and Senpuii was very cooperative and voluntarily asking for any help needed in ordering special foods, i enjoyed Pan Cake. The food quality was good 👍, I would like to give 5 star for quality of food and the Staffs especially Satyam and Senpuii.
