Our dining experience at the restaurant was excellent. The food quality and service were good. Lalitha was one of our hosts . She was kind, courteous and took care of our requests. All of the staff were hard working and amazing. Our stay here was pleasant. Would love to come back when we visit India again.

The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. They were prompt in taking my order and ensured that I had everything I needed throughout the dining experience. Front Desk Staff: While the front desk staff at the hotel were generally courteous, my experience with them was average. Although they efficiently checked me in and provided the necessary minimum information about the hotel, I felt that their service lacked a personal touch. There were a few instances where I had questions or concerns, and while they addressed them adequately, I didn't feel a strong sense of warmth or genuine hospitality. However, it's worth noting that they were professional in handling the basic tasks and ensuring a smooth check-in and AVERAGE check-out process. Overall, while the front desk staff met my basic needs, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of creating a more welcoming and engaging experience for guests. To All: If your package includes breakfast and Lunch/Dinner, pls ensure you check with the hotel staff if they charge when you opt to have your lunch/dinner in your room rather than in the restaurant. Friendly & professional staff - what one would expect from such a hotel. Not just the pretty faces in reception, every time someone came to the room, they had a warm smile and a gentle nod. Great facilities - wouldn't spend so much in a hotel generally but got a great deal so chose to stay. Rooms are clean, spacious, lots of fancy stuff and great stuff - again things that one would expect from such a hotel! Service - annoyed us a little as we had to make three calls thrice for getting three different things. Guess 3 is a bad number for the hotel. But the staff with their smile made us feel better at end. Loved the gesture of plates and cutlery being made available for guests even if they are ordering food from outside. The note said 'we wish you had ordered from us, but here are some plates for you to use. Enjoy your meal'. What a nice gesture. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a very comfortable stay. Can't get a better location than this. Right opposite to Siruseri SIPCOT & Nearby ECR. There are also other restaurants like A2B & Nandana palace and the Marina mall located at a walking distance. The rooms were neat & spacious and has great views. The bathroom was clean and the fittings were in good condition. In room dining was good and the food was served hot & fresh within 20 minutes as they committed. Greatly impressed by how they thoroughly follow all COVID protocols . Room service was prompt. The spa onsite is wonderful. The breakfast that came with the stay had a great spread. It's bang for your buck if you take the breakfast package while booking. Rates are nominal. Despite the language barrier of the security persons not knowing Tamil or English, they were quite helpful and friendly. Inspite of all the positives, this hotel doesn't give a 5-star vibe. Had a very unpleasant check-in experience which will haunt me for a while. Firstly, the front desk persons were too serious throughout the check-in process. Kind of unwelcoming. After making me wait for 10-15 minutes, I was given the room 1519 initially. Upon entering, I was shocked to find that it was not cleaned and was in the same messy condition in which the previous guest had left during his/her checkout. On informing this to the front desk, their response was simply "Oh, okay". They did not even have the courtesy to acknowledge that they have committed an error and were too busy to continue with their work without even asking a simple SORRY . Where's the Hospitality? It was very stressful. However, things improved and the subsequent persons in charge of front desk were warm and very helpful. The bath towels that we got , were torn and they definitely need a replacement. There was no Valet and the parking lot was filled most of the time and had to park in the nearby Ibis hotel located inside the same compound. Swimming pool was closed when we visited around 8:15 AM. Overall, except the check-in process, the other negatives didn't bother us much. Thankfully, the stay and food was excellent. So, I'm going with 4 starts. Will consider this hotel again definitely and hopefully I'll be having a better check-in experience next time. Cheers!

Very disappointing!! They are letting down the Novotel brand. Health, quality and hygiene are all compromised in this place. Right next to the kids swimming pool, they have setup smoking area. I had to personally request guests to move away since the hotel staff were so lethargic in their response to my complaints. Buffet spread is the worst. There are no continental and cold spread. It’s few Indian dishes and those too super oily, spicy and no taste.

Check in process was really hassle free.. Rooms are attractive and leisure. Ambience was really good and clean. Buffet food for breakfast and dinner was nice. Special thanks to Mr. Manikadan from F&B department..Was very friendly and welcoming. Provided great service.. Overall staffs were behaving good. Enjoyed a lot in swimming pool which was neat.. Stayed here on a vacation to Mahabalipuram. Had a great stay. The pool was very inviting and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful especially Mr. Somashekar in the restaurant. Reception could use some improvement but overall we had a great experience.

A Promising Experience with a Rain-Checked Team Lunch I recently visited this hotel to inquire about hosting a team lunch. The ambiance in the reception was delightful, and the staff were attentive as they gathered details for our lunch requirements. Moving to the first floor, we met a person who impressively explained the lunch options, leaving us eager to proceed. After deciding on a date, we booked the venue, appreciating the super ambiance and music in the hall. However, on the scheduled day, heavy rain in Chennai 2023 prevented our team members from attending, leading to the unfortunate cancellation of our lunch plans. Despite the setback, the positive experience with the staff and the appealing ambiance ensures that we will look forward to executing our lunch at this hotel in the future.

Excellent rooms and service. Every little things from key, switches, phone, ac was ideal as it should be. Hand faucet in toilet ripped my a** 😃. Otherwise perfect. Only thing that let me down was the coffee which took 30 Mins in room service and was not hot.

I came here with my family on a one-day staycation. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is good. The pool is clean without much chlorine, although the lighting in the pool can be improved. Overall, good experience.

Arrived after an overnight flight, and we’d pre-booked the early check in from 8am a few months before. Arrived at the hotel to be told “no, we saw you coming and we can’t do it”. No other explanation, or prior warning. I’d have preferred to know in advance, so we could have changed to another hotel. We ended up trying to sleep on a bench by the pool in 32c heat until our rooms were ready at 12:30. We were offered breakfast “but only if we had early check in”. They said we could pay for it, we pushed back and it ended up being free- but we just wanted to go to sleep. Room was clean-ish, lots of paint and plaster on the outside of the window. Blinds didn’t close fully, so lots of light in the room. When you turned the main shower head on, it sprayed water horizontally all over the bathroom rather than out of the head as the fitting was loose in the ceiling. You can also hear your neighbours TVs through the walls. Aside from that, staff in the buffet were lovely and welcoming. They always had a friendly smile on their faces. Not a good experience, wouldn’t say this is a 5-star hotel.

There are plenty variates of food for breakfast. Staffs over here are good attentive especially Mubin. She is very attentive and treats the customer with her pleasant smile on her face. Keep it up treating someone with great smile looks good.

All staff are very courteous and make you feel welcome at the hotel. Worth mentioning that the food is also great and staff at breakfast, specially Lalitha.. Will look after you well and ensure you have a hearty breakfast.

The food and room service sucks. Expect at least an hour for your food to be delivered. Very oily food… looks like it was bought from a road side stall. Not expected this quality from a 5 star. The hotel is in a confused location where you will not be able to step outside. Water logged area with heavy traffic in front of the hotel. There is no mini bar or microwave or coffee maker in the room. The air conditioning is turned off in the middle of the night and the room gets quite hot. Plain vanilla hotel room with mediocre service and 5* price

Be independent don't depend on the staff your stay will be peaceful. Staff are always in a hurry and they don't have the patience to listen to you. The dining area is a chaos nobody remembers the order and they hardly come to your table. Better to help yourself. The only thing that is really good is the food. Check in and check out again be independent they will not come to help you.

Had a nice and pleasant stay at the hotel. Neat and well maintained rooms, professional staff and quality room service. Breakfast spread was great and in room facilities were also good. Vegetarian varieties in room service menu could’ve been improved. AC temperature control didn’t work for me. But besides these, I had a great stay there.

Here for a business travel to Chennai Loved the hotel, spacious, clean rooms, the staff is polite, friendly, helpful. From the start to our last moment 5 days later we cannot praise the wonderful and helpful staff from the Ops Manager Mr Iyer down to security guard at pool they provided exceptional help throughout our stay. The breakfast and dinner team along with the bar staff made sure we had a great time. So much that we are heading back for another 3 nights in November.

Good hotel and service staff is very humble and good. Location is favorable to me considering my Company in the vicinity. Housekeeping staff is doing a great work with no complaints. Their supervisor Devajani makes sure that everything is as expected and reaching to guests to collect the feedback for any area of improvement.

Great place. Went for dinner. Soup not up to the mark. Spring roll too Flaky. Only two tables occupied. But the service staff with black jackets were always on the mobile or talking to each other. Not even a smile while entering the restaurant. Everyone should follow hygiene policy in the live kitchen. No exceptions. The two service staff Manisha and co were wonderful!

Stay was fantastic, staff is very humble and supportive, food is delicious and high quality. Overall stay was 10 on 10. I would say always go for Breakfast and Dinner included package. Worth of giving couple of bucks more but you will get plenty of variety in that package It's just that Sipcot is on the south Chennai and 25 KM's from city center. Rest all no complaints

My stay here was delightful and pleasant. I enjoyed my stay here. At the restaurant the food was good breakfast and lunch is worth having. The host Sakum at the restaurant help and serviced all my needs on what I wanted to eat. She was very kind and skillful in what she does. The rooms are quiet and peaceful to rest and have a good nights rest. The gym and game area clean and the pool as well. Overall is a beautiful place to stay.

Awesome food, quite a widespread of varieties of South Indian and western delicacies. Excellent ambience by the staff here at food Hall, especially Ms.Lalitha. 3 stars to the service, since room service took 2 hours to deliver the food that too after constant calls, and lobby guys were not updated well on the bookings, required to inform them everyday that we are staying here.

I had family dinner last night. I had a wonderful experience as usual. Ms. Mubin’s service was really good and welcoming. I had ordered white sauce pasta for my kid and it was very yummy and we had repeated the order. I’ve visited this place more than 10 times and I always love their service and will definitely recommend this place.

The wooden flooring outside of the bath area is bad. The bath area shower partition is half covered which makes water splash all over the bath room. Also the bed had some issues as i ended with back pain. The breakfast was not good but the dinner buffet was great. The staff were good and helpful. I had booked 2 rooms for my family through Accor app. I had requested for fresh bathing towel repeatedly for our room. Every time I was told by the house keeping or reception that they were sending the same which never came. I am a Accor Plus member. The membership had been bought for some privileges, which I felt missing in this property. We had to wait for around 2 hrs for check-in in our rooms. Welcome drink vouchers were provided upon asking. When I asked, initially I was told by the receptionist that he was not aware regarding such offer. When we are in a 5 star hotel, we can't expect such kind of hospitality.

This is a fabulous hotel that I've been staying at since it opened. I'm not sure if it is a legacy of Covid but the polish is beginning to tarnish. I had to change rooms because of smelly room However, staff are very helpful, polite and attentive.

My brother was staying here, so I visited this place for a dinner, it was probably the worst food ever in any 5 star hotel. Novotel food is generally not that great which means I didn't have high expectations in 1st place but this was one of the worst experiences ever!! The dinner buffet was probably never refilled after 1st filling, everything was either empty or had just leftover stuff, only good thing we could get out of the kitchen was a half pizza, we asked for Indian bread and it never arrived. None of the dishes tasted any good. Only reason we sat there was we were meeting after long time and had lot to catch up with but the place was not even peaceful with kitchen staff constantly arguing with the wait staff. Overall, next time if I have to go there I would rather go to a roadside eatery.

We had a beautiful birthday lunch buffet with the caring and kind service by our waitress, Smita. She was very friendly and helped us with our orders and the live counters and our accommodated all our vegetarian and non-vegetarian requests. Had a nice time.

Their Hospitality is very nice. We went along with our newly married couple.At the end of our Lunch, a surprise of wedding Cake was given to the newly married couples by one Mr.Karthi who is supposed to be Head of Department and wishing them a Happy Married life.We felt very Happy moments there and we are thankful to the Management and staff who were on duty of NovoTel.It was a very nice experience for us.

This is one of the best stay I had recently, starting from room and amenities all are simply awesome! They do have couple of indoor games as well as small outdoor like cricket, football and all! I enjoyed it 😀 Must say breakfast and dinner is fabulous, they have varieties of spreads and live counter too! The people in restaurant were kind and felt very good! Two areas i feel they should improve: 1.Guest services were slow when you call for something they'll take atleast 40mins and I had to do a follow-up call again. 2. We stayed in room 1512, the AC was not working properly, I had to do multiple calls then only they came to see it but it was not resolved till the end! Somehow my body got used to that minimal AC 😂 so i didn't complain much! Overall, It was fun and great stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended 🙂

We got an excellent service from Mr Niyaz and the restaurant ambience is excellent. My family really enjoyed the dinner. There were more varieties of chicken however I am not a lover of chicken so I shared my concern. And the chef’s considered my request and prepared mutton gravy for me. Really it’s awesome and I am well pleased. Thanks for the wonderful service

Pros Prime location, View is good at hotel. Amenities are good clean and well maintained. Food is awesome. Cons Poor room service. They get your order forgot it or remember it after an hour. Temperature control is not working properly even after complaint they didnt bother to fix it. Getting a seat in the Restaurant was horrible experience.

This hotel is good but not upto our expectations. View from our room was very good and swimming pool is very clean and neat with all facilities. Room service was not done quickly, even for simple things we had to call multiple times. Electronic items like kettle, speaker and TV remote was not working, we had to call them to get it changed. Food is good and overall service was good.

Well appointed 5 star Hotel with great staff who make the stay even more pleasurable. The food is awesome, service is quick, quaint poolside and there is ample parking. Must particularly must mention Sayan at the front desk who went out of his way to get me the room I needed. Have stayed there several times. Will do so again and again.

This is my second time visit and stay during this year at this hotel. I always found the staff pleasantly welcoming and making a conscious effort to go an extra mile to serve the guests. Last time it was the chef who tried his best to make Egg Benedict at breakfast for my friend. This time it is Ms.Mubin and Ms.Sakoon who were there at breakfast as well as dinner on most days and did an excellent job as the hostess. Rooms are very decent and the food spread at the restaurant too is quite good.

Hotel has a very friendly staff. Very baby friendly as well. The breakfast buffet was quite good despite my previous experience with many hotels where it's more like a formality than a service. This hotel takes its service to customers to another level. For the price, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Special shout out to Sakun for helping us out during breakfast.

I particularly love the service. People are kind, polite and super helpful. Lalitha, Manisha and their colleagues in the restaurant make sure that you have everything you need right away. They were both super kind, polite and friendly and I appreciate the work erhics of them and all of their hardworking colleagues 😊. The food variety is very good. I wish they had more non-spicy dishes, but I guess I'm an exception. Most others just love the hot food. But the desert variety is so good and professional that makes you forget the heavy spice in the food 🙏 The hotel also has a spa with a massage services. I can only recommend them. It was surprisingly good and professional. Very useful especially after having jet-lag and long working days.

came today for lunch in the Novotel restaurant in upper ground floor... last time we had buffet lunch but today we ordered something from the menu - we had wide selection of food from traditional Indian cuisine to Exotic salad. Taste was yummy and very fresh. Staff was very friendly. I would strongly recommend this place for lunch/dinner experience

After 4 am start from home I was shaking and hungry when I arrived at your hotel. It was a time between breakfast and not yet lunch. Your colleague Mubin welcomed me with a hearty smile and she politely told me that the breakfast time is over. I asked if I can get something to eat and she went to the counter convinced the chef and got me some sausages and cut fruits. It takes genuine interest in people to make their day. Well done Mubin, you made my day !!

I have worked in India this week in the Sipot IT centre so the location was perfect for us. Glad to have been able to stop back to the hotel after work to see the sights. Breakfast has a vast variety of choices and the staff are very friendly.

Stayed for 3 nights with family, experience was superb. Very hygienic and well maintained. Check in for superb fast and room cleaning was the best part as was traveling with kids, so needed room cleaning 3-4 times a day and Housekeeping Team was so kind for doing it whenever needed and took great care of us. Will love to visit soon again.

We had taken an MAP package. Though the check-in experience was average, the dinner and breakfast service at the square restaurant was impeccable. Sokun was our star, took very good care of us. She was very cheerful and efficient. The swimming pool is good too. Just wish their billiards table was accessible. Overall, a great experience

Firstly need to thank all the young energetic staffs in this hotel. From the entrance, security, reception, housekeeping and cafeteria everywhere i have seen only young people working in this. All of them were so nice and polite, all the service request has been attended quickly. Kids enjoyed the pool, the water was little cold, should have temperature control in future. Food was nice in the restaurant. The room size was little small for 2 kids and 2 adults, but comfortable for couple of days. The bathroom doors needs to be easy to close and open, the setup was not convenient. Always struggle to close and open the bathroom door. Over all great experience ..highly recommended for people visiting OMR IT area.

Being here for the last 3 days felt like home. The overall ambience coupled with an state-of-the-art hospitality made the vacation worth. Best Hosts ever! I had a wonderful 2 week stay. The food was amazing. Breakfast and desert was top tier 🔥. The staff was helpful and kind. The laundry service was top notch. The spa is to die for! Shout out to Nikunjo Nath, a friendly and helpful gym instructor. I enjoyed starting my day with a clean gym, full of all the equipment I needed. I'm going to miss this place and the lovely people!!!❤️❤️

Initial check in and room was a problem but then we were given the right room. Apart from that the service of the restaurant staff was very nice.
