The hotel location is priceless. Very close to the mosque, especially the women entrance. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Staff are super friendly and professional. I could not gave more than 2 stars because of the following: 1- room furniture's are old and aged. 2- toilets seems poorly maintained. 3- During breakfast, the served orange juice was expired. I informed the staff at the restaurant two times few minutes apart and kept watching and waiting for their action to remove the juice containers but they didn't. 4- shower cabin was too small. 5- the hotel strangely designed for small size short Asian guests. I am not that tall guy! I am 190 cm tall. The ceiling height is low i could touch the ceiling while walking in the hotel corridors. I had to really bow down to open the door as the door knob is close to my knees. Toilet basin and commod were very low.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. I don't often leave reviews, but this hotel is a catfish. When I have expressed my concerns to the hotel they have stated there is nothing they can do. I feel the reviews here are not a true reflection of what this hotel offers. The rooms are dated and dirty. The shower gives either boiling hot or freezing cold water. Sometimes it would switch to very hot regardless of the setting- not great when you're already in the shower. The handle came off in my 5 year old daughters hand so we were locked in until a family member opened it from outside. The breakfast is of a very poor standard. We had to manually pull the chain in the cistern to flush the toilet. The room service workers do work hard but there's less staff for the amount of rooms they have to clean so we can go all day without the room getting made. This hotel is more expensive than most- price does not reflect quality in this case.

Definitely not a 5* hotel. the location is 5*, the cleaners are 5* and are very helpful. Breakfast is about 3* Everything else is 2* max (room, beds are poor, bathroom, key cards not working meaning you have to go to the main desk EVERY DAY to get it fixed!) Would recommend for the location but don't expect a 5* hotel.

Best location. Great convenience for women entry, you just have to cross the street. Fairly sized rooms and bathrooms. Extremely caring reception staff, all of them. They addressed all of our needs in minutes. Great breakfast. The purpose is to visit the Holy Mosque. One can't have a better location than this. All I needed was a clean and cool room. My wife had a health issue and I can't explain how kindly they helped us. I am so grateful. The price was the best I could get. I will highly recommend it to all and will surely be back. One should not compare the rooms to other 5 star hotels across the world. The purpose of the visit to this place is entirely different. One is not there to see the carpets and ceiling height as I read in some reviews. You can't get a better location and services for this price.

Room was a nice size, however the furniture is very antique looking. The hotel does require complete renovation. Housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and a variety of choice. Location was excellent. Nearest entrance for ladies was gate 330. Door number 16. The prices charged at this present moment is for 5 star, however the fixtures and furniture really let the ambience down. The reception area is always busy, more attention is required when guests are checking in or out. More staff required at the desks. We had no porter assisting us to the reception or room. Overall my experience was good, but the flaws do need to be looked into. The reviews are very much mixed, and I feel that management are not paying any diligence at all, and ignoring the negative issues raised by previous guests.

The only good thing about this property is the location. The rest everything makes it even less than 3 star hotel. Room was super dirty and was so smelly. Beds were so much uncomfortable. Bathrooms were having such a disgusting smell. Only cigarette 🚬 smell was keep coming everywhere. There's no towel in the washroom. Upon asking the Housekeeping team working in the corridors they said, what to do it's supervisor mistake he didn't check the room. Check in process was so time taking even though there's no rush. Only 1 person was ahead of us but the staff was so "lazy" and was not paying attention. Check in staff didn't provide us with the room keys / card and asked the bell boy to drop us to the room. Bell boy opened the room with the master key and handed over the same to us - upon asking why master key, he smiled and went out of the room. At the time of Check-out, the lady at the reception was shocked to see the master key and asked me how come I've that key - I explained all this to her. Other than its great location, I didn't find any single value for money about this hotel. If anyone from the management side wants to discuss more; I'm happy to share more as well.

We payed extra for an upgraded room only to have gross carpets with stains, doors that wouldn’t close properly and a room of trash when you enter from the side entrance. They keep exclaiming that it is a 5-star hotel and we definitely paid the price for one… but I’ve stayed in much nicer lower star hotels.

Just as so many reviews have said, this is not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The hotel is beyond dated. The bathroom was not properly cleaned before we checked in. There’s hair on the corners of the floor and calcium build up on the walls. Also, the water is scolding hot so none of us ca take a proper shower. The sheets, while clean, have marks on them from being old. One of the elevators smells like a toilet. If I wasn’t with a group, I would have cancelled my reservation and went to a different hotel. The only benefit is the location but there are multiple other hotels with great proximity. I don’t think Saudis Tourism Board should allow this hotel to call itself a 5 star hotel, it is completely deceitful.

We were able to stay in this hotel with 30 members of my family. We have booked 10 rooms. Our experience was as average as follows; 1. The food seems to be a lot but it’s average nothing special about it. The omelette station is amazing. The chef is willing to custom make eggs for you. 2. Double rooms have the most space, as the beds goes up triple or quad the space in rooms gets almost none. 3. Bathroom showers were nasty, mold and other dark back stuff around it. 4. Location is good but it’s at one corner of masjid which can be an issue. 5. Overall the average cost for a room is $160.00 a night and on peak time $500.00 a night.

Food was good. Service at reception was excellent. We had to change room as the first room was very dirty. The second room was much better and cleaner. The room Service was kind of good.. had to search for them the whole day just to give toothbrush and towels. In the morning at around 7.30,we pressed the button to clean our room, we came back at 14.00, the room was still not cleaned! Apart from 2 sockets, none worked. We had to wait to charge our phones

First off. The kitchen sink was cracked, and the cooker was disabled. That concludes the complaints. The rest of the experience was quite nice actually. The location is great with a super mart downstairs to help with necessities. The breakfast was quite good and the buffet was well stocked, a bit crowded but for good reason. The rooms were clean and the management and staff were friendly and cooperative. A really nice stay overall.

Considering the reputation and the price I paid for my stay, I had expected a higher level of service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, these issues with the air conditioning, side lamp, and TV reception left me disappointed. In conclusion, my experience at this well-known hotel was far from what I had anticipated. The malfunctioning air conditioning system, faulty side lamp, and poor TV channel reception significantly impacted the quality of my stay. I hope that my feedback is taken seriously by the hotel management, and they work towards enhancing their services to provide a more enjoyable experience for their guests in the future.

Almost excellent! Windows were dirty outside from the rain and crescents at breakfast were not fresh. Otherwise everything was extraordinary, from cleanliness to the view from my bedroom, staff was polite and so welcoming! The room was spacious, the bed was so comfy! Serenity ambiance as well and beautiful view of the mosque and piazza at breakfast made everything so inspiring! Thank you for this very pleasant stay!

The hotel location is worth more than the rating given. Rooms are spacious and Staff are super friendly and professional. Had sufficient usb charging points. I could not gave more than 2 stars because of the following: 1- room furniture's are old and aged. One chair was broken. Carpets stained but clean. 2- toilets poorly maintained and old. I had to fix the cistern at one stage as it kept running. 3- Breakfast, unfortunately 3 stars not more. Cheap coffee sachets, canned fruit salad only. Last of knives and forks. quality of breakfast dropped from when I was here in 2019. Hotel needs a refresh and quality of breakfast and hotel amenities needs to be improved in order to get a 3 or 4 star rating.

It’s a 5 star hotel, so it is a good hotel. The only reason I’m giving only 4 stars is that this hotel did not include breakfast in our reservation package. And that was something not done. 2 days we were surviving on a cup of coffee only in the morning. Getting down to search some place for breakfast was not something we were looking forward to since the umrah visit for a limited period of days gets very hectic for senior citizens, and others too. I’m sure the hotel team must have something in mind to skip this breakfast included in the package, but certainly they can give it another thought and facilitate the people who are on a pilgrimage visit to Saudi Arabia.

Be ready for the inexistance and (rude) reactions from employees. Reception is a joke , customer service is another joke. There is no shuttle service. They stopped it since covid, but it shows on all apps booking system. The city tour is not accessible there even if the qr code for trips is at the room. Go to Hilton hotel, the reception could help you with tour service. They are understaffed and disorganized and they don't care. Check-in really starts from 5 pm, so be ready to relax by the mosque after you leave your bags at concierge. important notes: ** breakfast was great so it's worth adding it. ** concierge people are nice and helpful. If you have any requests, just ask them. don't bother reception ** cleaning staff are nice and helpful, keep good contact. ** convenient store and Cafeteria in front of hotel were savers for late dinner and snacks.

I loved the location and closeness to Masjid, also the workers are all great and ready to provide service if there’s anything wrong. The buffet has variety in choices and not long wait. We loved it and would stay again. Yes, room was spacious and great. Some maintenance issues, but quickly resolved by staff.

I have had multiple surgeries its very difficult to take shower i told at the reception i need a chair or please change the room , i came to know other rooms had sitting place in the shower area. But they didn't do anything for our problem. There is no sitting arrangement in bathroom it's very uncomfortable for disabled people and aged people as well. And there is no chair in the room with back rest only stools were there .

This hotel was very clean and the service was prompt and friendly. The staff were extremely attentive to our needs and very helpful with taking car of our laundry and servicing our rooms. Would have given 5 stars if they didn't literally ask me to write a review and then proceed to take my phone out of my hand and select 5 stars for everything. That's not how you do business.

The Restaurant: upon entering you have very polite hostesses. The restaurant itself is very clean, you have more than enough staff to tend to your every need. The food is absolutely amazing, the taste, choice and variety, it’s breakfast lunch and dinner all in one. The chefs are all top quality with amazing skills and very high standards. With so much food to choose from you do not get bored of eating as you do not have to eat the same thing every day. Hotel staff are excellent, very polite, in fact even the building security are very welcoming. Housekeeping always go that extra mile, people need to remember that the prophets city is for worshiping Allah and not enjoying modern day luxuries. People are so fussy.

Excellent overall experience, would recommend. The check-in, check-out was efficient. The hotel staff was also kind and accommodated our room request for adjoining rooms on shorter notice. Rooms were clean, properly air-conditioned, good amenities. The breakfast buffet also offered a variety of food. Location was convenient and very quick to use elevators to exit and enter. Only thing was one room was quite cold and the thermostat could not be adjusted, but did not detract from comfort much. Insh’Allah would choose to stay here next time as well.

This was by far the worst experience I have had at a hotel. It is with such sadness that I write such a negatively about a place in this blessed city. This hotel is falsely advertised as being a 5 star hotel when it is nothing close. I would be generous when giving this 2 stars. The rooms are in the worst possible condition one can imagine. The walls and flooring are stained with various food items. The room wreaks of odor despite using air refreshers. There is so much dust built up in the vents that you have difficulty breathing. The furniture and bedding is also dust filled and stained. There is not one item in the room that was stained. The bathroom is the most horrible. It is filled with mold and smells horrendous. During my entire stay the sink was clogged so the water would sit for hours. Housekeeping was never prompt and would do the bare minimum (if that even) and leave. We were so disgusted that we avoided using the bathroom at the hotel. My son was sick for the duration of our stay because of all the dust and mold which made it difficult for him to breathe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s such a disgrace that our travel agent shared misinformation and we paid a great deal of money thinking this was going to be a 5 star experience.

The rooms could do with a makeover, with a much needed deep clean before new guests arrive. The service from staff was amazing. Always doing their best and finding solutions. The rooms and maintenance was a let down. Breakfast had an excellent view.

The breakfast was so yummy and fresh All the stuff service are so nice Specially (Zahoor & Ghada) girls. Just please try to fix the (phone service)- for example: if i want to do call out side the hotel , I need to go to the reception to pay and then I call! Instead of this let's have bill on the checkout better and easier for the residence. Also, the water bottles should not be just one time daily ! The rest all is good and all the best.

Considering this is a high traffic hotel at the center of Madinah, amenities were not bad. Service and desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The decor can use a little love and care, but again with the high traffic this hotel gets, any furniture is sure to wear out sooner than later. I was disappointed that I had to pay parking to the hotel, even though I’m staying at the hotel, not a visitor.

It was my first time here and I was a little overwhelmed but staff from housekeeping supervisor Kamal was so helpful. He treated me with respect and helped me understand everything. I will definitely give him a recommendation for a promotion because he would go out of his way for my whole stay to make me feel like I was at home with family. Thank you so much kamal. May Allah bless you and your family.

Booked this 5* hotel for first time normally we either book Hilton. Very disappointed to find that this is no way a 5* hotel the rooms are outdated. We were first given a very small room for 3 adults my wife went to complain and they did give us a bigger room but communication was next to zero! Obviously the bigger room is good size but we paid for 5* hotel and this clearly is 3* in fact in 2019 we stayed in a 3* near Baqi side which was 5* compared to this hotel. I haven't even bothered complaining again because I think they can't offer us anything 5*. I will however write to top management as I have paid nearly £200 a night for a hotel that should be charging half this price! They say you get what you pay for and clearly we have not got 5* hotel for 5* money! I would like to let the staff know that we are a paying customer and it's not a hostel that we are staying in because that's how they make you feel as if they are doing us a favour! I wish this review was a good one then that would mean we go our monies worth! Will never waste my money on this hotel - sorry to the staff who are trying their best maybe management is not upgrading things that need up grade. The hotel look very unclean but I think that's because of the old decor that has not been upgraded. Bathroom is horrible set out in the worst way possible - very old worn look. LOL I gave bad feedback and they said thanks for good feedback clearly they do

The experience was very pleasant. I was late for my check-in but the staff accommodated the delay. They were very sincere & obliging towards my last minute request for an upgrade. They even made sure that the price for upgrade was competitive, unlike other places where upgrades at checkin are twice the price than the market. Overall a very good experience from hospitality to the cleanliness & service. Raneem overall did a good job to help fit this journey.

it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the front office staff went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable check-in process was seamless, thanks to the efficient and friendly front office team. They greeted me with warm smiles, and their professionalism was truly commendable. They not only provided all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and services but also assisted me in navigating the city and its attractions.

As Salaam restaurant had a great variety of food. A nice and clean environment with staff that was very attentive. Now the rooms on the other hand, hotel needs some updating. Our original room was less than desirable. We had to pay for another room to have an upgraded space. But this was a great location to be next to the Prophet’s Masjid.

This was a perfect hotel for our family of 4 (including 2 children under 10 years old). We went to perform umrah and visited the prophet's mosque. The hotel is right next to the boundary wall of the mosque. The room we had was clean and looked recently renovated. Great breakfast buffet option. There's also a shopping mall and a super store within the hotel. Hotel staff and housekeeping staff were courteous and provided exceptional service.

I stayed here a week with my family. The location and room view is wonderful. The only concerns I had were: - room had a little kitchen but stoves didn’t work. We were not told this was deliberately disabled by the hotel, until we asked. - needed a microwave in absence of a stove which was provided - toilets got blocked almost every day. We came to know this is the norm for all rooms in the hotel - pillows soft, need to have selection to get hard pillows - iron was not functioning.. burnt clothing despite low setting - breakfast buffet was great and staff were wonderful .. needed to have skim milk selection available.

The location of the property is amazing, few yards away from the Haram. Had a breakfast at one of the restaurants and it was good. The not so good things were all in the room, it had extra furniture inside n it looked like they forgot to remove extra chairs & tables. It was stuffed. Another issue was the coffee cups weren’t clean.

Bad housekeeping service, Also the food quality was very low compared to 5 star hotel I don’t recommend this place , Also if you gonna book from booking the application you may face issues in the reservation ; for me I book 2 rooms and breakfast for 4 people and when I came they told me each room has one person for the breakfast. However the food quality was very bad as I mentioned above. VERY BAD HOTEL The only good thing is the location; it’s near to the mosque. I Don’t recommend this hotel.
