Firstly, the rooms are pretty darn small, like you enter in the room and 2 steps away is the bed, and that's it. No space to walk around or even keep our bags. We requested for a slightly bigger room as we had a baby with us, but our request was instantly rejected. The lobby and floor stinks badly and all I can see is food particles, leftover food and empty plates lying around on the floor. The staff are rude and arrogant, especially the manager Mr. YASIR was too rude and arrogant. Such an unprofessional behaviour. I don't know why such people are hired by the management and not even supervised for their action n behavior. I would highly not recommend anyone to book a room in this hotel, as you would find much decent n good options around. I wish there was an option of zero rating that I would give to this hotel. I have been travelling to Madina almost every year, and this is my first ever horrible experience with this hotel.

The location was amazing, less than 1 minute walk to the Haram. The rooms were nice and clean. Had a quad room, and it was two separate rooms with two bathrooms, which was great. You had to just make sure you get room service outside and request things and wait until they bring it. Otherwise, it can take a bit long. I would stay there again.

The worst hotel. Filthy. You can’t just bank on the location. Yes it’s close to the Masjid e Nabawi but you don’t feel clean stepping out of this hotel to go to the Masjid. I payed 5 Star room rate because I was misled by the photos on the website for a single room with stained dirty carpets, I was charged for breakfast but I told them I’ll be checking out early and will not eat there to which I was answered “not my problem.” The dinner buffet is SR 50 for really pathetic buffet. I checked out earlier than I needed to because I couldn’t stand being in the filth. Saudi municipality should look into this hotel. Awful!! Stay away.

Very reasonable price for the service. The cleaness level is very low. stars of David are every where in the corridors carpet !!! Crowds always block the way to the elevators due their gatheringin the lounge. I stayed 4 nights without a single house keeping service. The only visit was during my family rest. The open buffet is not clean and not well organized . The dining tables are old and not firm. The only one thing is nice about it was the Saudi reciptionist. The were very helpful when been asked.

Horrible hotel. Internet connection does not work. Rooms were so very small. None of the phones work. Very filthy and don’t get me started on the bathrooms😂 the shower divider is put halfway and all the water spills out as you take a shower. The carpets are all stained and it smells so bad. Part of the shower broke off as my dad was taking a shower and it cut his finger. As we were going to look for a bandage, we couldn’t because the rooms were so small. Disgusting. Does not even deserve a star.

Arrived today to confirm the hotel is right in front of Masjidul Nabawi - less than a stones throw away. For the Price it is perfect and suitable. We also requested a change of room to have single beds rather than double and was changed right away. Big shout-out to Ahmed the Supervisor at the front desk; very-helpful and his hospitality is excellent.

The room was as mentioned in the reveiw section but we dint expect the AC not working. The AC of the suite room was not cooling and the attendee at night tried to change the room but 4 other similar rooms had the same problem with AC. Such a Pathetic condition of the hotel.Dint expect this from Golden Tulip brand.

The location is quite convinient for easy access to Haram Madinah. Directly Infront of Gate 307 athe new Exhibition center for the expansion of Prophet Mosque. But the rooms are Tiny, the toilet is also small. Their service is also poor. Rooms are not cleaned on daily basis unless you insist. The rooms supplies are not regular.

Worst hotel ever I stayed in in Madina!. I had to continue there cause it couldn't be cancelled. I can't imagine the bad level of service I faced in addition to receptionist unprofessional attitude. Rooms are not cleaned even the room service are not helpful, I can feel they are not happy with their job at all. Furniture of the suit that I reserved is very old carelessly maintained !! Refrigerators are not clean having very bad smell. My simple and honest advise to everybody to not book this hotel by any means. If I should say any positive thing,it would be the location and that is it only..

This is definitely not a 4 star. I am only giving it a 2 star rating because the workers are nice. GM of the hotel was nice and helped with check in. Royal suite had a very good view of Our beloved Prophet’s Mosque (Peace and blessings of Allah upon Him). As far as the room is concerned, everything humanly possible to make it shine had been done, but still dirty carpets, old linen and worn out furniture cannot be ignored. If u want the view and nothing else, then go for it. My sincere advice: Stay Away!!!

Extremely extremely bad experience, congested room. No space to perform nafal prayer. No chair to sit and pray for disable personel. Broken lift. Over prized just because closae to masjid a nawabi. Wifi doesn’t work. Inside the room you wont get mobile net so no one can’t contact you if you are inside the hotel. What a mess. They say its a 4star. I wont give half of it.

Room service does not exist, we had to buy our own water even just to take medication. a very unorganised hotel. at breakfast staff started arguing with me that breakfast is not included for my family, he didn't know where to hide his face when I showed booking. Breakfast was very average. lifts work odd number on left of hotel and even numbers on right, most annoying in the world. now location, yes very close to haram only problem women entrance very far BUT most problematic issue is this road is blocked off by police all day everyday, if you have a person on wheelchair or want to do shopping stay well clear of this hotel. this is an honest review after staying 8 nights and trust me the rest of my family will rate it worse.

Be Warned and Do Not Stay In This Hotel!!! 1 - Men come into the room without notice, no knocking, I was so sick that I couldn't move and my husband was out and they kept coming in, I asked what they wanted and all they said was just 'checking' this happened all hours of the day, they weren't coming into the room for anything specific so I was on guard the whole time I was in the hotel. 2 days before our checkout someone entered the room again when my husband wasn't there to ask if we were checking out. 2 - Not once in the whole stay did they clean the room, it was absolutely filthy and disgusting, never been hoovered, food crumbs all over the floor, sheets never changed, towels never changed, nothing replaced including towels, tea, water, toilet paper. No wander everyone in our group got sick as soon as we stayed one night, I doubt they changed the sheets in our rooms when we arrived, so we were sleeping in the same sheets as the last guests. There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke in my room, which was suffocating. 3 - Breakfast, old reused food, nothing fresh to eat no fruit, pastries were stale, we ended up just having tea and getting our own food from outside. The one day there was a chef making omelette he was complaining about it. 4 - If you are white you will get treated right. I witnessed a member of our group being spoken to and looked after by the manager who also insisted her write a good review on Trip Advisor, anyone else you are treated like dirt on the floor. I asked to speak to the hotel manager several times, but was told there 'wasn't one'. 5 - Double bedroom so tiny you can barely walk let alone open your suitcase or pray etc. when we tried to move room the Arabs at the reception told us speak to the agent, who kept telling us the next day they would look, and 3 days past and they still hadn't done anything, they said there were no rooms despite the fact they moved several of our group to new rooms and people were checking out every day. They kept giving us the same line that our room was a 'VIP Room' like we're fools! I got so frustrated and in the end had to tell them to stop lying to me and if they don't do anything we are checking out. He then showed us several rooms which were exactly the same as our current one, until finally he showed us a room with a few inches more space and then said we had to pay extra for an extra bed and the view, NOTE: people in families of 4 in our group were getting 2 rooms with 6 & 8 beds with no extra charge so asking extra was totally out of order, in the whole process they were so rude and arrogant. The Arabs at reception are useless, manager nowhere to be seen (unless your white and privileged) and the agents don't give a damn unless you really kick up a fuss for days on end and tell them they are lying to there face! 6 - The workers don't speak a word of English so you cant communicate with them, they just sit around in the corridors, someone asked for new sheets in the room and all they did was turn them over. This hotel shouldn't even be a 1 star, it is a hazard to your health as soon as you walk in, please be warned and do not stay here at any cost. Anyone writing a five star review for this joke off a filthy place must of been paid or bribed in some way.

Sadly, the atmosphere in Madinah is not the same as it was in 2016, or 2008. Other than becoming quite sick at this point of my travels in 2022, the views and making my single visit to the prophet's grave (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) was worth it. I sadly had to argue in Arabic (I don't know the local 'amiyyah dialect) with the hotel cleaner and then had to request management because the initial room assigned to us did not have AC as it was broken. I had to move my family to a different room at 2am. I had to wake up the females to ensure they were dressed appropriately before allowing management in for them to actually verify the AC did not work - which was a major annoyance.

I gave 2 for the location facing one of Haram's doors, everything else was a disaster, you can ignore the equipment, the low budget repairs, iff done, the reception but you cannot ignore the rock made mattress, my friend slept on the ground the last two days, because it was more comfortable

Very close to the mosque. However, small triple room. Toilet was nice and clean but the carpet in the room was absolutely filthly. Service is terrible. We asked our rooms to be cleaned and they weren't done for hours. Breakfast is free and pretty standard.

Wifi doesn’t even work. When I complained they said everyone is using it? Phones in the rooms don’t work. Super cramped rooms. Overpriced. Only good thing is the distance to Masjid Nabawi. Other than that it doesn’t even deserve a star..

Golden Tulip Alshakreen hotel. Very close to haram, directly opposite gate 307. This is just a stone throw to haram. The environment is lifely. It's a 4star hotel. Relatively conducive. It's also budget friendly compared to some other hotels close to the masjid

Very bad service, nobody replied on intercom. I took two rooms, in one room intercom was not working. The complete hotel needs renovation. Smelly carpeted floor. Poor facilities. No parking. Only +ve points are location and price.

Considering the cost it wasn't upto mark... Below Average reception crew (have next to Zero Spoken English Skills) Stayed 3 nights, called Cleaning service 4 times, nobody came to clean the room in 4 days and 3 nights Perhaps good location for Gents, as it opens right in front of Haram Gate 307, but for Ladies its quite far Minimal breakfast options... quality below average for breakfast Swipe card didn't work after 12 hrs, and had to get it fixed almost three times a day... Room A/C thermostat non-functional Tiny shower area, in the bathroom Limited options for FOOD in near-by places Room was smelly, because of no cleaning Elevator kept of malfunctioning during EID period Stayed in Room 908... I will suggest to keep away from this room No proper lighting inside the room... stayed very dark even after turning ON all the lights Twice swipe card got stuck and door wont open from outside... had to go to reception 4 times and come back (back and forth)... didn't work... eventually had to kick the door, that worked, don't know what was stuck in it Overall... Below Average experience... wont recommend it

Location at Junubia opp: Gate No.v307, Masjid e Nsbavi S A V. The management us humbly requested to write perfect address because there are two Golden Tulip hotels on either side of the Haram Sharif. Cab rates negotiable specially during prayer times fares sours up high. Breakfast is very rich and in verities to Arabian as well as continental cuisines.

Excellent location that will always win patronage. Poor service all round - reception, check-in, luggage services, restaurant... Poor communication experience. Surprised that a previous guest came back all the way from Makkah for an item he forgot in his room but was simply turned back at the reception that they did not find anything, no check was conducted or inquiries made or even any assistance offered!
