This is a place where pilgrims stop for kurma..they well received tourist and the kurma is a bargain. It cool season, so kurma plantation trees do not bear fruits when we visited in mid Feb.

The date palm plantation which the Prophet Muhammad reportedly planted it with. When we arrived, we only found a place by souvenirs which contained Arabic and Medina specialties. So we bought ajwa dates which if we eat 7 grains, it will avoid black magic on that day. I got this news from one of the hadiths which I have forgotten about the history chain.

Quba mosque is the first mosque built by Rasulullah saw. it's about 5 km southeast of the city of Medina. In the Qur'an mentioned that the Quba mosque is the mosque which was built on the basis of taqwa (Surat At Tawba:108)

This was the garden owned by the great Sahabi Hadhrat Abdul Rahman Bin Auw رضي الله عنه. He was very rich and from amongst the 10 blessed Companions who received the glad tidings of Jannah. The garden has plenty of date palm trees and it's nice to sit there and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and Madinah Sharif weather.
