Masjid e Qublatayn is famous because having two Qibla directions during one prayer. During Nimaz (prayer) Allah Pak sent message to change Qibla direction from Masjid Al Aqsa to Masjid Al Haram ( Kabba) . So during Nimaz Rasool Ul Allah PBUH change his direction and all Sahaba which were present there had also change there direction without discontinuing Nimaz & saying one word. So this Masjid having the tradition of love & obeying. Love for Allah Rasool Ul Allah & those to whom loved by Rasool. May Allah Pak bless us love, Eman & death with Eman & love. Allah Pak bless us with love of Rasool Ul Allah.

This Masjid has a very special importance in Islam because it is said that all Muslims were offering prayer to the 1st Qibla which is towards Masjid e Aqsa but one day during prayer Allah Subhana Wa Tallah asked Hazarat Muhammad PBUH to change their direction to Khana Kaba Makkah and immediately obeying order Hazarat Muhammad PBUH changed the direction during prayer and at the same time all Sahaba Ikram RA also changed the direction. So that is why this Holy Masjid known as Masjid e Qiblatain since then Muslims offer the prayers to Makkah. There is still one prayer Matt placed on the wall mentioning the direction of 1st Qibla and I also taken one selfie picture of that prayer Matt. This is one of the important Ziarat in Madina so I suggest to must visit this Masjid.

It's always a great feeling to pray here. I feel overwhelmed and elated that Almighty Allah has given the opportunity to be amongst the lucky ones that have been able to perform Hajj and Umrah. Coming here to pray gives me joy and every sense of humility. Alhamdulilah for the opportunity

Masjid Al Qiblatayn translates to Mosque of the two Qiblas and is believed to be the Mosque where The Blessed Prophet (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) received the revelation to change the Qibla (direction of prayer) from Jerusalem to Makkah. (Allah knows best).

It is one most important mosques in Madina. It is considered one of most pious and sacred mosques of Islam. The mosque where Muslim prayer direction changed from Jerusalem to Makkah therefore named as mosque with two Qiblas. You must visit this mosque when you visit Madinah.

The mosque is among the earliest mosques in Medina. When our Prophet Muhammad SAW received revelation from Allah instructing him to take the Kaaba as the qibla during the Dhuhr prayer, instead of Baitul Maqdis, which was the Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem. The qibla is the direction Muslims face when praying toward the Ka'ba in Mecca. Amazing experience and grateful when getting a chance to pray here. Feeling peaceful. Beautiful interior, exterior design and amazing chandelier. Big mosque and crowded with pilgrims, alhamdulillah.

Love to visit here again in Masjid Al Qiblatayn. Where we changed our Qibla from the Great Bait Ul Maqdas to Bait Ul Haram. Wish to bring my kids here one day InshaAllah. I'll recommend this place to visit if you're in Madina. Stay blessed and welcome all new visitors.

Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (Quran 2:277)

This mosque is in Madinah. Here our noble prophet Hazrat Muhammad (saw) received the command from Allah (sat) to change the direction of qibla from jerusalem ( Al Aqsa ) to Makkah (Kaba). This mosque is called as mosque of two qibla. This the place where pilgrims visit during hajj and umrah.

Another history point to delight in, standing on one side for later as you expect, you can turn 180 degrees and see a plaque where the old prayer direction to Jerusalem used to be. Really well maintained and a good size - people didn’t linger long and there were many ways to get in an out which avoided the crushed of other places Decent parking options too.

One of the most beautiful place in Medina where prophet got the message to change the direction of qibla. We can see the two direction qibla inside the mosque which was earlier directing towards bait ul muqaddas, masjid a aqsa.

One of the most important and prominent historical Landmarks in Madina and must visit places during Umrah trip. Now they extended much more for Haji convenience for prayers so it's huge and spacious and fully Air-conditioned and kept zam zam water on the corner.

Masjid Al Qiblatayn had two qiblas (Praying Direction) which was one to Mashid Al Aqsa at Jerusalem. Then once Allah asked to change the direction, Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) turned the direction towards Makkah, Ka'aba. This was done when he was offering a Namaz(Prayer), and inbetween the prayer he changed the direction and Sahabas (Companions) followed him on the same prayer.

I loved this masjid. It's easily accessible, there's an evelator and they have fridges inside for cold water. Toilets are a bit clean. There's vendors outside the masjid if you need anything, I got to buy ajwa dates from a local vendor at an affordable price. Despite the history of the masjid being changed, I loved how the old qilbla to al Aqsa is still maintained (notice the qibla on above the door on the pictures I posted). A good place to relive history

Masjid Al-Qiblatayn, situated in Medina, holds a unique place in Islamic history as the mosque where the Qibla (direction of prayer) was changed during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad. This historical significance adds a layer of reverence to this sacred site. The mosque’s name, which translates to “Mosque of the Two Qiblas,” refers to the fact that initially, Muslims prayed facing Jerusalem, but during one prayer, the Prophet received revelation directing them to face the Kaaba in Mecca instead. The architecture reflects this dual Qibla concept, making it a visual representation of a pivotal moment in Islamic history.

Masjid Al-Qiblatin The Qiblatayn Mosque is among the three earliest mosques in Islam's history. Among some of the popular landmark sites in Madinah is “the Mosque of Two Qiblas,” better known as Masjid al-Qiblatain. A Mosque is mentioned in the Quran itself in verse 108 of Surah Tawbah. The Prophet said Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to the mosque of Quba and prays in it, will have a reward like the Umrah pilgrimage. Visit this mosque and perform two rakaat prayers. In front of the mosque, there are many perfume and date shops.

This is the Mosque where Prophet was instructed to face Kaaba during prayer. Before this incident, Muslims were facing Al Aqsa (Jerusalem) during prayer. This instruction was given during a prayer. So first half of the prayer was facing Al Aqsa and the next half was facing Kaaba. That's why this masjid called Qiblatyn (Two directional Masjid)
