First of all, the multimedia technology and touch screens are very advanced. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. The issues are, you have to be with a tour guide, the group is so big and crowded we couldn't see and enjoy everything. The amount of information and knowledge in the museum is huge you need a number of hours to cover but they rushed us in less than an hour. Quite disappointing you pay for the ticket and you don't get to enjoy it well! And even worse they don't let you take photos!

MasyaAllah. Complete. All things about Prophet Muhammad SAW. Start when he was a kid until he pass away. All the dakwah, all the up and down came along, about his family. This is the mandatory museum you need to visit at Madinah. 40 SAR for the ticket. And you can choose what language when you in the tour. Thank you so much for the experience and knowledge 🙏🏻

Nice digital museum with interactive display. At the end you may enter a store for printed book or other souvenirs. In the beginning you will be guided by Indonesian speaking or Arabic/ English ..

Excellent place for anyone to learn anything and everything about Islam. The use of Virtual Reality-based systems makes the experience immersive and fun. The amount of work that must have gone into the details of this are amazing. The interactive screens are awesome.

Great Experience. I visited this museum for the first time. It is a Digital Museum with digital form of Biography of our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH. In past it was free for visitors to visit museum. There was no charges. But now the price of ticket is SAR 40/person and children under 7 is free. You can choose the language for your tour while purchasing a ticket like English, Urdu, Arabic, etc. I want to request Government that all the knowledge they have in this museum about biography of Prophet Muhammad PBUH must b share on a website or must be collected in a book whose access will be given to every Muslim. Because in 30-35 minutes you can't grab all the knowledge or you are not able to memorize everything that guide is telling you in a visit. So it's humble request to share this precious knowledge and make access easy to every Muslim. It will help a lot specially to parents to transfer this knowledge to next generation.

Decided to visit but everything was sold out online. However guy at the counter still was able to give us tickets - they cost 40 SAR per person. It’s around a 30-40 min guided tour. Museum is quite futuristic looking. Aspects I did not like at all: 1. It’s very rushed. For the price you pay and for all the things inside the museum, they do not let you explore it. In the end there is an interactive room where some guy will come and start screaming at you to watch the movie, next thing you know you are out 2. Another tour in some other language will start immediately after yours and the you’ll hear the other tour guide in the room next door which causes a lot of disturbance This seems more like a money minting machine than allowing people to have a valuable experience inside

Wealth of knowledge about prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Islamic civilisation. Very nicely presented in a modern manner. Highly recommended for anyone in Medinah. There are tours in different languages. Highly recommend to buy the tickets online.

A bit expensive, compred to the time and tour inaide the museum. Visitors have barely time to explore by themselves. A tour guide will give you a very breif description of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w life and biography. Definitely a high tech display. Very clean and attractive environment. Multi linguistic tour of the museum.

It is a good place. Ticket is 40 SAR per person. You have to book online and then pay at the counter or you can get it from counter also. It is a 25-30 minutes guided tour. They tell you things about Islam and Nabi SAW. It is a good place but they should give a free time to the visitors to see all the things. I didn’t learn any thing new but overall it was a good experience. They don’t allow photos or videos inside. There is a shop at the end which is very nice and you can get quality items there

I visited this Museum/Fair as part of my Hajj journey of 2023 / 1444. I noticed the building from a distance and when close to the door saw a QR code of one of the glass doors. I booked the tickets online for the tour in English for around 8:50 am, there were only about 10 people in total and although the tour is interactive it is only interactive for the tour guide and you walk around and watch and listen to him speak. There was some new information that I learned and the tour itself didn't seem rushed which may be due to the time of day when it was quiet. They gave us a free biography book which obviously is built into the price and there's a gift shop at the end of the tour which I thought was overpriced but aren't all gift shops 🤔. The building outside and inside looks very modern. I'll be taking my whole family next time I visit.

We signed up for the English-speaking guided tour. The entire event felt rushed and ended in about 20-30mins. I thought we would have a chance to explore the different exhibitions and displays and learn about the life our the prophet Muhammad pbuh. But instead, it was just a short guided tour, with lots of skipped portions, with no opportunity to learn in depth the biography of the prophet Muhammad pbuh. There was no allocation of time for visitors to explore the exhibits and displays on our own. In short, we were not really sure what was the intent of the event; was it for the visitors to learn more about our blessed prophet or merely a means to earn a quick buck. Sorely disappointed with the event. Would not recommend it to anyone.

A new experience for tourists. Highly recommended. The staff are friendly and fluent in Malay. It is worth it because you can appreciate the time of 1400 years, which is during the time of the Prophet. There is a replica of civilization in the medina. But taking pictures is not allowed.at the end of the museum there is a book store that sells books and gifts

This place is being rated two stars because it is being promoted as a full exhibit of the prophet pbuh and his companions but once you enter it's more of them giving a tour of what the exhibit is going to be about. There is a HUGE amount of information and really is meant for the user to interact with their screens and learn however the tour guide describes what the information contains and moves from one exhibit to the next. He was also rushed so he skipped out on an entire exhibit about medicine in Islam. I was thinking that maybe at the end of the tour we would be able to go back and learn about each exhibit alone but the guide said they are not open for that. There is also an extra movie at the end that is supposed to be in 3D but it didn't deliver that way, some glasses didn't work and the screen is far too close so it would not focus. Overall I think the idea, concept and infrastructure is fantastic. I love all that and I think this will be amazing once it is fully opened. For now, it really lacks to deliver that, and is not hitting the points on execution. I'd be interested to see how it is in 6-12 months time.

So much cost as powering only LCDs doesn't cost much, With such high ticket cost there are many LCDs are out of working, Movie was only 3D as 4D is installed but 4D is also out of order. So you are just seeing a very good prepared biography of prophet Muhammad by walking on your feet through the several screens which also can be performed on a single screen by changing slides, and in movie show you only see the things not feel the environment of "Journey of Love"

This is an exception place. It has hugely significant information that will astonish anyone irrelevant of their knowledge of the Seera of prophet Muhammad (saw). To fully appreciate this information, you will to spend 50 or more hours. But you will easily understand the basic information.

The place has alot of information, if you wanted to have more time you can go solo which I understood is a 60 minutes access. We went with a group which was also good. The tour guide was great, all the people working there are very friendly and welcoming. Some people keep on saying that they know all what was mentioned and they expected more, what do you expect.. like secret information that no one knows? The place is great and clean and informative. And the people working there are amazing.

The Prophet's Mosque Expansion Exhibition. Great effort, technology-based museum to tell the story of prophet Mohammed's journey (PBUH) and his companions and wives. Although, you can not picture or touch anything which is disappointing and a bit boring, felt like a lecture more than a tour.

Very good museum and exhibition. A must see especially for someone who want to also contribute or be part of this journey of big project in documenting the prophet's biography. It is a 15-17 years of research (as per the tour guide) and it is still ongoing. so we expect to have a very big and marvelous museum in the end with Allah's will.

the technology is great but the explanation is a mess. the guide explained too fast and his explanation is so general. better read the sirah to know our prophet. There are many important things that the guide missed since the time is super duper limited. so I don't really recommend it.

It was a good experience, there's a lot of information and history about Madinah and Prophet Muhammad SAW. Once you enter the exhibition, they will assign English or Arab tour guide, depending on your choice. However the tour was too short. You cannot roam on your own, the time given is only 35 minutes.

The museum from outside looks very promising and you want to go visit. The staff are welcoming when you purchase your tickets. When you starts the tour is when the disaster begun! Too many valuable information are being missed out. Poor English speaking. Surprisingly most of the digital displays are only in Arabic! Outside screen get you more English information than when you are inside. The worst is how they rush the tour and you don’t understand. They jump to the next step without making sure everyone got the info The cinema 3D isn’t even 2D …. The glasses aren’t working Isn’t worst to pay for a very short and incomplete movie. Conclusion: this is the worst museum presentation Sadly, it has very valuable information but the presentation by the team is below 0.

A nice experience overall and informative as well, however it's only 'interactive' for the guide himself who used the screens but only chose specific parts to elaborate on - skipped many others. Would've been 5 stars if they allowed visitors to expand on the various boards in our own time to get all information.

Resourceful place, the guide will explain each of the exhibition. Also suitable for kids and old aged. The books choice at shop is great, they sell books not only in arabs but also indonesia, etc. The souvenirs are also cute.

You need to buy a ticket and sometimes they do not have timings for that day. Per person it is 40 Riyals. The museum itself was very educational and interactive. The tour itself felt rushed and it felt like we didn't get our money's worth. They do accommodate for different languages like English, Urdu, Arabic and other languages that I can't remember at this moment. There is a little gift shop at the end of the museum which if you wanted to you could buy gifts. If the tour didn't feel rushed then I would've given it a 5 star

It's got a good ambience with the lights and reflective walls. You get a gift, a book about the Prophet's (SAW) biography. However for 40SAR, you are rushed through a 30minutes walking presentation by a guide. They use touchscreens to talk through rights of the spouses, the Prophet's family and lineage. All these are things one has read and been taught in schools so the value was a bit lost on me. The highlight for me I think is the physical models of Makkah and Madina with locations of the companions' homes highlighted. There's also a 3D screen display of some tools and items used during the Prophet's time. It's finished with a cinema video. I had expected more for the price.

The museum is very nice, lots of work was put into the displays. Our tour guide Mr.Saeed was very nice, very informed, he made the tour so enjoyable. He mentioned that all of the displays were made using actual materials from the places that they represent. He also does calligraphy and can make you a custom artwork as a souvenir. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you visit this museum.

Positive - Informative tour through the life of the prophet Muhammad S.A.W - Beautiful displays - Very well organised. When you purchase your ticket, you will be given a time slot to come. Where your tour will be done in your preferred language. - Tour groups are of good size. Our English speaking group was approximately a group of 15. - AC at the right temperature. So a beautiful escape from the hot weather - Excellent location. Stones throw away from the Prophets Mosque. So even if you have to wait a little bit for your tour to start you can go to the Prophet's Mosque in the meantime. So, for those travelling to Medina for the day this is an excellent addition to their itinerary. - No Cameras allowed inside. Which meant that you could fully be present. A rarity nowadays. Negative - The tour is very informative but last for a short time. - As you are guided through the exhibition, you unfortunately do not get the opportunity to fully explore every aspect of the displays. You only see what your guide presents at that time. On the flip side this means that each time you go through the museum, you get a different version of the tour depending on the tour guide. - The tour is a one way system so at the end you can't go back through it on your own as their are other tours that have started.

Fantastic showcase of what is to come - a thorough encyclopaedia that will be beneficial to many generations to come! My only critique would be some improvements needed on the cinema section, the 3D quality could be better and also the story requires more flow to engage audience.

Very interesting and technologically advanced museum. The touch screen displays are beautiful and very informative. The tour was around 45 min but could easily last all day with the amount of research and work that was put into it. My favorite was the displays of Makkah and Madinah as they were during the time of the prophet. They also gave various books and items for sale in their shop at the end. Highly recommend.

Masha Allah. Very informative. Pity the English options are not available for most of the exhibition and Covid caused that we couldn't actually interact with the exhibits on our own. Amazing technology brings the prophets biography to life. One day when we return insha'Allah, i assume we would have freedom to stay for hours and learn as much we can on our own

It was a very bad experience. The whole tour was guided by a host, and he did not properly stop at each info-screen. The screens had a lot of information, however, we were not allowed to interact with them ourselves. Out of the total 20-30 information branches, the host explored 1 maximum at each screen. He rushed it a lot, and wrapped it up in around 20 minutes. The only point we were allowed to interact was in a room which contained screens about tools and other gadgets from early Islamic era. Overall, it was a very bland experience, the host relayed extremely basic information easily accessible from the Internet, and he hurried through it. 1/5. Definitely NOT recommended. And not worth the price at 40 SAR per head.
