I enjoy eating at the Angliss Restaurant, the food is always amazing and while it’s all a training exercise for the students of the William Angliss School, the service is usually pretty good! A good way for a five star dining experience on a budget.

It is a really great place to have a family meal and it helps the students with their cooking and watering. The food is really good for the low cost.

I attended the Creswell Oration Luncheon on FRI 01MAR19 and was most impressed with the service provided by the entire restaurant staff. I noticed a marked improvement to my last visit 12 months ago. The front of house staff and the dining room staff were most attentive to people's needs without over doing things. The people we didn't see, did an excellent job also. The food was excellent and very well presented. As they say in "navy speak" BZ . ( You may have to Google that!) John Douglas. HMAS CERBERUS MUSEUM.

I wasn't sure what to expect from our planned dinner at the Angliss restaurant at William Angliss College. Right from the very first moment of arriving it was a fun experience. The Angliss restaurant is a training restaurant for the culinary leaders of the future. Staffed entirely by students there is a certain buzz in the air as the students work hard to put their learnings to practice under the eagle eye of their teachers. Each table has an assigned waiter who ensures that your dining experience will be good. The high diner-to-waiter ratio might be a little intimidating for some but it ensures that you get very attentive service. The menu is select but includes some very tempting dishes such as salmon and scallops for entree, steak and barramundi four main and some delicious options for dessert. The wine list is excellent and there is a selection of very good cocktails on offer I tried the old fashioned which is probably one of the best old fashioneds I have had in Melbourne. It's definitely worth a try for something different. Bookings are essential. And you are sure to be surprised by the excellent value for money. Congratulations to William Angliss for providing such a unique experience right in the heart of Melbourne.

This is a teaching restaurant where students get to experience all aspects of the hospitality industry. In turn this is great news for us because we get eager students doing their best, great service, amazing food and the best value for money all in one location. Well worth a visit here. I’ve been twice now and will certainly be back for more delicious food.

First visit today, but certainly not the last. Excellent service and food, and that nice feeling of being part of a bigger purpose as staff learn the ropes. Loved it!

GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY The Angliss Restaurant is the training "home" for hospitality students. It is part of the large William Angliss College complex which also offers a smaller cafe, and bistro. Went for lunch with work colleagues. $8 for a quite fresh bowl of pho. Service isn't fast so it's not the place to go if you are in a super hurry but it is a great way to help the next generation of restaurateurs. People with mobility issues will be Ok as it is all on one level with no steps to negotiate. Cash and cards.

(Translated by Google) Great food, really good. Good service, also very good by local standards. Every now and then they make promotions at a discounted price or even half price, by reservation, with a buffet menu. Excellent cocktails. (Original) Ottimo cibo, davvero ottimo. Servizio buono, anche molto buono rispetto agli standard locali. Ogni tanto fanno delle promozioni a prezzo scontato o anche metà prezzo, su prenotazione, con menù a buffet. Ottimi cocktail.

Food pretty good. Student waitstaff are enthusiastic but very nervous. The ambience of the room is awful though.

Made a booking 3 days in advance and the person booked me in a week later than the day I said. Drove an hour to get there for nothing because they had a function on. Was already coming back for a free meal because of the head chef insulting my mother by mocking her allergies. Extremely poor
