☆ I visited on Saturday for dinner and it cost $49.95 per head. ☆ There were plenty of food options available, including pastas, pizzas, meats and seafood. ☆ Dessert included soft serve, petit four cakes and a chocolate fountain. ☆ I appreciated the free (and unlimited) drinks station. You grab a jug and can fill it with soft drink, sparkling water or still water. ☆ Overall, nothing overly special but I had an enjoyable time here and would consider returning in the future.

Good variety of food from entrees to deserts. Great service. A little bit more expensive on Friday and Saturday nights. Well worth to try out. Excellent location.

The food is decent for the price of $35 per head as long as you are not expecting Melba or the Conservatory level of buffet. The prawns were quite fresh, hot food was a bit dry (which is common for most buffet restaurants). The Thai squid salad was very nice. Unlimited refills of soft drinks.

The Kitchen Workshop buffet at Crown is a delightful culinary experience. The wide variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, is impressive. The quality of the food is great, and the service is focused. It's a perfect option for those looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. Real value for money. Don’t forget the chocolate fountain..

It is not really a fine dine place, but it is a good experience to eat out. It is a buffet system where you can have your own choice of food out of so much variety. There are so many desserts and at a good price. So overall we had a good time there, because later you can walk around in the city, at Yarra River. Parking was found easy. We went on the weekend the car park was $7 for first 5hour.

Only got 90 minutes dining time at the restaurant on the busy Sunday night. There were many choices of food and desserts. Steaks were so dry, can tell not the good quality of meat for sure. Other than that we had a good time there. Price was about $50 per person with unlimited soft drinks.

If you stick with the roast beef and lamb shanks plus a few sides, you'll easily get your money's worth of tasty food. The dessert bar had a great selection and was topped up regularly

We're excited as our first time to dine in at Kitchen workshop. We're booked in Crown so this is a closest and one of a good suggestions as mentioned by friends. We booked and reserved online so we skipped the queue on a busy lunch time. The staff is nice and very accommodating. To me there are few things i should not have been expecting too much. Varieties of foods are few for a thirty five bracket (forty dollars due to holiday surcharge). Seafoods range are also few, Salads are good, breads too but for a lunchtime buffet eat all you can, I was expecting ranges of choices. Good choice for ice cream and other desserts. But not really for the main course / main dish. Another downside is the contacless payment surcharge and the 1.5 hrs duration of lunch time (not to mention the long queue). Next time when you queue up, skip the first to middle part of the queue as most of the foods are at the last stage. This however is a good place if you dine with kids as they are free.

Despite being a ‘buffet’ was still classy. Variety of options from meats, pasta, fish, salads. Was fresh and food constantly being replenished. My favorite was the steak medium rare and it just kept coming. They even had crab. Great range of deserts as well. Really something for everyone without the compromise.

Excellent service and unlimited soft drinks (for a little bit extra) makes it a great place to dine in. HOWEVRR the limited variety of food is a big let down. Better off going to other nearby buffet.

Great atmosphere, wonderful & very tasty food with lots of variety to choose from. The staff are very helpful & friendly & they clear the dishes from your table constantly. The seafood is my favourite & it's very delicious & delight to eat. There is no shortage of food. The chefs & cooks do an excellent job. It's also kids friendly with plenty of sweets, deserts and drinks to choose from. I'm definitely coming back again!!!

The variety is just fantabulous for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians . The soup loved the cucumber and potato leek soup, mouth watering . Great starters.. and the main course rice , chicken .. loved the papadums.. Dessert was just out of the world .. The buffet is a smorgasbord of culinary treats for people of all ages and palates.. We went here to had a lunch yesterday for all you can eat, food was okay. At first they turned us away because we made an appointment for 7 people instead of 12 people, the rest of us are happy to walked in but still they turned us away whilst we saw many people still walked in and they let them in. They came up with the excuse that they don’t have enough table for all of us. After some dramas they let us in, but we only have less than an hour left for all you can eat after all the dramas. Pretty disappointing, but everything else are good. All you can eat cost $35 and I got a glass of wine for only $9.

Good varieties of savouries, salads and desserts. However majority of the food doesn’t stand out. If I have to choose, the best of all would be the beef stew and tiramisu. The whole experience is like eating in a food court during peak lunchtime. Crowded, noisy, long queue for food.

$70 lunch for two included unlimited soft drinks too (sprite, Fanta, coke, Coke Zero etc). Incredible food: quality, freshness, selection. Constantly being replaced. SoMe queues for the hot food. Pace your self. Wish we could come again. But it’s booked up until we fly out of Melbourne. Highly recommend.

We are just around the corner at exhibition centre and found the buffet the easiest choice to cater for 7 of us. Environment 5/5 We were here early, plenty of seats and could be because of weekdays as well. Service 5/5 Staff is attentive although they looked overwhelmed. Good service and very friendly Food 3/5 Not so happy with the choices, but could be weekdays and it’s a lower rates compared to weekend, not much seafood is seen. And the prawn has no prawn taste at all. Highlight should be the soft serve, it comes with vanilla and chocolate, have to try

Amazing place to visit. It is really cold and you just need to be careful due to the strong current but there is a rope to have to hold for safety reasons. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend it as a must in your next visit to Baganga.

Staff are very friendly and try to serve you well. The food is very good quality and enjoyable. It's not fine dining, but the food is pretty good for the selection they have. It's a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth the money. Also book in advance or you'll struggle to find a seat.

There was apple crumble today on the rotating pudding which, while sweet, was utterly delicious. Everything else was largely unchanged Update We visited just before covid struck and I never got around to posting the update. Now that I reflect I wonder if it will ever be able to operate again given buffets aren’t exactly the most hygienic of eateries and it’s probably not the safest for its key clientele of extremely elderly. My grandma would definitely miss the soft serve machine and I would miss the mars bar cake they had on this occasion Latest Today it was much of the same for me; creamy pasta, some plain hokkien noodles and some roast beef from the carvery. They are nothing if not consistent with their offerings Recent Another school holiday, another visit to KW with my grandmother. No news today, the menu doesn't really rotate and usually I have a plate of vegetarian spring rolls, (they are big on fried food think sausage rolls, party pies and chicken schnitzels). All quite tasty but nothing special and in terms of vibe and ambience it's pretty much pensioner central Further update We visited Kitchen Workshop a few days after Christmas and they were obviously still in the Xmas mentality as upon entry we observed the usual roast options of beef and ham had changed to just ham. Given no one in our party of 5 ate ham and that’s the most substantial offering available we asked for a refund so we could dine somewhere else in the crown complex. The staff were very accommodating and were able to provide a serving of beef for our table which was very tasty and did just the trick. Update I made my quarterly pilgrimage to KW on Monday and surprisingly the dessert selection has picked up. I very much enjoyed the sticky date pudding. The rest is pretty much the same as always but for once I actually left full from overeating! I guess because all of the food is so carb heavy Original review This is not somewhere I would willingly chose to come of my own accord but my grandmother enjoys it so we come every school holidays. Four times a year for the last three plus years and while it hasn't gotten any better it hasn't gotten any worse. For the actual price I don't think the value is there. These are photos of two desserts I've really enjoyed on two separate occasions but it can be very hit and miss. I find with buffets I'm usually so full I feel sick but this is the only one I've ever been to where I actually don't like it enough to keep eating to that point of being stuffed.

You are allowed to sit there for only 1,5 hours.. for $50 pp at dinner time, i think it's not fair, we were rushed, should allow at least 2 hours to let everyone chew properly. Food was ok, but not sensational. Friendly staff.

The place is nice and it does have a steady stream of customers but I wish they had more options for their food. They have lots of drinks and I am happy they have pitchers so you don't have to keep on going back for drinks. The food is just plain so so but overall still a good place to eat a buffet meal.

Went there recently for lunch. Free soft drunk is great and dessert was good but overall, it gets really busy and I have tasted better. It is disappointing as I was a big fan but the last visit was a let down.

The selection of food is great. The staffs are welcoming and hospitable with excellent good guest service. The atmosphere especially the buffet tables are elegant and attractive. This is a wise spending choice of buffet.

I love to there with my family and friends. The food is of course amazing and service is excellent too. The chefs are very friendly. Today, I noticed a waitstaff ‘Maria’ was going to each table and asking about the food, having conversations with the customers. She came to our table too. We had a small conversation, and that makes us feel very welcome and valuable customer.
