Been here a few times esp when I am visiting Melbourne. Thank God for them because it is so hard to find Veg resto that cooks without Allium (Onion, Garlic, Leeks etc) and everything here is Alium free. Wild Mushroom is a must try. Also try the lunch special every time. Coffee is beyond perfect! The photos don’t do them justice.

Such a great cafe. I had not been for years and it looks like it has changed hands as the decor wasn’t as outstanding and the staff were a bit disengaged and unfriendly. The food was excellent and the Chai was lovely. Unfortunately they were out of Almond Milk by Friday brunch.

Lovely hidden café! They make their own homemade almond milk, which gave our Chai a fabulous creamy texture. Give it a try ! Cakes were delicious, and all the food around us looked great as well. 100% recommend this sweet place and their friendly staff (not as grumpy as their mugs might suggest ;))

I had a meeting here today over lunch. I am a meat eater and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I have to say that I didn't wish there was meat on my plate and enjoyed the food and atmosphere thoroughly.

Up-cycled vibe and very relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Food is vegan presented very well and tasting really good. The place is tiny through. So not enough room to swing a cat. We had a pretty average service and mainly was interested in the pour overs. After choosing from the menu we found out that there was more variety on another board on the other side of the cafe. So I missed out on trying and spending good money, some Panama pour over. We also had a server who was a little too relaxed and shrugged off our questions on coffee varieties. Aside from the service and missing coffee menu overall was cozy and worth a visit for the food and coffee.

I'm a chai enthusiast and addict and the healing house brewed chai from here is hands down the best one I've had in Melbourne so far. Very strong flavour, with a good hit of spice and not too sweet. The food was also great, with a generous serving. Will be back for sure.

This hidden gem is a must try place for everyone but for vegans it’s a special place. I have been to few 100 cafes and I can tell this place hits different. This cozy place has very limited seatings and feels old school, 10/10 for the ambience, 10/10 for the food. The buckwheat pancakes and the chai latte are a must try here.

Great place. Welcomeness of the staff makes this tiny place feel bigger. Does get fairly busy but if you manage to come off-peak then be prepared to be blown by some serious (random) coffee art. Pancakes and Zucchini hotcakes are my personal favourite.

The classic Melbourne Cafe tucked into an alleyway. Coffee is really good, not milky, and nice roasty caramel flavour. I ordered their mushroom dish and it was HUGE serving size. Perfect for a hungry morning, and although I couldn't finish it, the team had takeaway containers handy. The interior is small, cosy, and the hustle of the atmosphere is really nice for a weekend morning!

The food is delicious and servings are quite large. Not too mention, most items on the menu are vegan! I was also pleased with the uncaffeinated chai, it's so hard to find a café with yummy decaf options apart from the usual herbal teas.

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is out of this world - the perfect combination of different tastes blended to the most delicious meals. Everything is vegan and without onion and garlic and also a lot available without gluten. If I lived here, I would eat here every day. The banana pancakes are absolutely insane.

Might take a bit to find but it’s well worth it. Monk Bodhi Dharma is hidden in a car park adjacent to Woolies, you’ll find it by following your nose as the delicous smell of their coffee roaster draws you in to coffee heaven. Lovely people serve what could me Melbournes best long black, food looks great and their beans are fantastic. Perfect.

Amazing place! If you don't know about it you won't find it. Vegan food, I can recommend the zuccini hot cakes! Unfortunately they are serving cow milk also - I think plenty of plant milk options should be enough for a "vegan" place. They prefer cash, but you can also pay with EFTPOS (charge fee).

One of the best coffees and coffee varieties in Melbourne, especially with the washed beans. Most recently tried the Tanzania geisha bean in a long black and it's plainly one of the best coffees I've had. There are always different beans to try and the atmosphere is a vibe.

Even if you are not vegetarian, this place makes you love a vegetarian breakfast. We have visited this place multiple has not failed to deliver everytime. You have to try the Umami mushrooms, there is nothing like that in Melbourne. The Hungry Jimbo is excellent as well. It is in a bit of an odd place. But love the location and the vibe.

Magical place for all the coffee lovers with various beans to try based on your preference. Also, the staff is really friendly and welcoming..

I really liked the atmosphere and decor of the cafe. The menu offered a wide variety of vegan meal options, but the price didn't match the quantity and quality of the dishes. The food was good, but I felt it lacked seasoning and was served in too small portions. On the other hand, the drinks were served in very cute cups and were delicious! It was the best chai latte I've ever tasted.

Went here on a Saturday morning for brunch. Staff was friendly. I had the umami mushrooms dish with almond feta - was good and flavourful. Food was very well presented. Coffee was okay. Cafe was small but very cute and lovely. Nice decor.

Always wanted to stop by and had the chance to do it. Small gem 💎 hidden. Large communal table and few small tables as well. In house coffee roasting. The food was exquisite, very tasty. Good portion at the same price as other cafes around with less in the plate. Will definitely return.

Very highly recommended place in Melbourne. Mars and the staff are super lovely. The coffee it’s excellent and so is the food. Almost all menu is vegan, which a love so much 🙏 I’ve had the Açaí, it was creamy and full of fruits. I can’t think of a better açaí to be honest. Thank you so much 😊

Great little rustic nook for coffee and an intimate sit-down. If you are looking for a good coffee in the area THIS IS THE PLACE!Almond milk is hand-made on premises and well worth the small extra cost, and Small heath food pastries are available for immediate takeaway. With intimate seating a bite to eat is fast to arrive at a medium price point for the area. Staff are beyond lovely and go out of their way to make interactions warm, memorable and tailored to your vibe on the day. Recommend for brunch and lunch if your looking for a warm interaction for the day.

Not a picture of coffee but the only pic I took as I was too busy drinking my coffee. Lovely people handing over liquid gold. That's all there is to say!

This cafe is located as a hiding place. The brick building is so gorgeous, and need less to say, coffee is good as well.

Love this place. Exposed brick, fresh flowers paired, rich wooden tables with wrought iron accents gives a warm intimate feel. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and easy going. Really enjoyed our time there.

First of all I want to thank Mars (the owner) and his workers for the good service. very friendly and kind. the açai bowl is super delicious super fresh. the granola super yummy (home made) the coffee very well done with home made almond milk, it taste really good. They also make their own chai which I can say is one of the most delicious chais I’ve ever had in all of Melbourne. Amazing vegan menu 🙏🏻🌱

Still takeaway food only during the lockdown restrictions. However the zucchini pancake and mushroom still so yummy and one of the most special coffees in the town

Almond feta actually tasted like feta. I’m not a vegan but such yummy food. The brownie tasted even better than a normal brownie. Super rich tasting. It’s kind of small and they don’t do book ins so you’re lucky to find a seat. Very aesthetic. Bit pricy for a chai though!
