👍👍 Had the best day out at the track. I had never been before. If driving there the back carpark is a good carpark to park your car. Then once through the gate you walk through a great tunnel that has pictures, future events and projects coming to the track. We had a disabled person and it was easy to... I've attended several functions at Moonee Valley Race ourse. Parking is available onsite. They have multiple function rooms at the venue, so you need to know which you are attending. In the Champion room the room doesn't have a lot of atmosphere unless you are there to view the races, where the covered views to the track would be perfect. Staff have always been very helpful and food was plentiful. The entrance leaves a lot to be desired looking out onto a car Park and a construction site. The main function room further into the complex is served by lifts and escalators and can easily hold 400- 500 people with a podium and dance floor.

Had the best day out at the track. I had never been before. If driving there the back carpark is a good carpark to park your car. Then once through the gate you walk through a great tunnel that has pictures, future events and projects coming to the track. We had a disabled person and it was easy to access up the different levels with the lift. Great views up on the disabled level which is right next to the members section.

One of Australia's most iconic sporting amphitheatres. Rich in tradition. Bountiful for today. Plentiful for tomorrow. It's a must see....come feel n breathe what the human and equine athletes pursue- greatness and immortality.

Great day out at the races. MVR really looks after owners well with a super lunch or dinner. Fantastic viewing from the deck and good atmosphere in the mounting yard.

Track starting to play significantly more fairly (I’ve jinxed it now) and much more enjoyable spectacle. Members a tad dated but cheap food/drinks absolutely no complaints.

Visited Moonee Valley Racecourse today and was impressed with the state of the course and also the facilities. The function areas were of a high standard around the public Bar area and also on the top level where the room had a really nice ambience. Well worth a visit. We were there to view the Showcars Melbourne PPG Showdown 11. Hundreds of Beautiful cars on display inside and outside beside the actual Race course. Place it in your Diary for next year as it would be the BEST Car Show in Melbourne.

A great day for champions, horses, trainers and jockeys. Good to see everyone went to the trouble of dressing up and making it a classy day. Food choices are a bit limited. Prices are reasonable. Toilets (mens) were crowed and messy, with lots of discarded bottles, cans and other rubbish, as the bin was overflowing.

Came here for the 2017 Chinese New Year Celebration. Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and the races. There were around 10 food stalls selling a good variety of food, including Chinese, Indian, Western and Korean and more. Great views to the city skyline! Huge racecourse, the seats are fine (cleanliness is acceptable). The carparks are OK, but I can imagine it will get quite full on a busy day. Also the signage is a little bit lacking (perhaps not large enough for people to see clearly?) as I didn't know where the gate was after parking my car and was wandering around the carpark for 5-10 minutes. The (male) toilets are bigger than I had imagined, and was kept fairly clean. All in all, good racecourse, great location!

Won’t be back. Members Dining room -the bathroom facilities were so basic I actually felt like I was at a local footy club, the seafood and starters were below standard. Prawns were inedible… like someone had forgotten to defrost them so submerged in tap water for an extended period of time… watery and soggy on the cut end - NASTY! Oysters muscles worse than supermarket grade. The olives on offer were tiny and tasted terrible again below supermarket grade. The main chicken was dry and mushy peas felt like I was at a nursing home, thankfully the desert table was wonderful 10/10 for desert. Those with children:- the face painting was disturbing, the lady was quite rude to some children in front of us and I was disgusted when she had finished my four year old who asked for a rainbow unicorn and what she painted was a unicorn and unicorn poo. We didn’t tell my daughter what it was, we just washed it off with a wipe immediately and told her the lady did a could and it was a mistake, my daughter had seen a rainbow across the track earlier so was so looking forward to a rainbow face paint, my daughter was dressed immaculately and the face painters interaction with her was non existent she didn’t smile, didn’t even say hello, …. Seems like she had a bad attitude to children who were well dressed as the ones before us who were well dressed copped attitude too. There was also a man with her in workman style clothing taking photos and video calls to friend and filming the children…it felt a little creepy and I wasn’t impressed when he came up and started taking photos of my four year old! The face painting was so basic two colours - nothing like the rainbow unicorn she had pictured in her cards or what my daughter asked for and expected. There was a pony advertised - that was a joke too it was behind a fence when we were there and then dragged around by a young boy and grumpy looking lady. Children were looking over the fence at were completely ignored by the lady…. so not sure what the point of that was! My daughter was disappointed as she was looking forward to seeing the pony. Thankfully a kind strapper in another stall untied her horse and let some children and my daughter have a pat!! Those with young children or asthma also be aware there is no designated smoking areas, it’s a free for all so everywhere you walk there is SMOKE. Most staff were pleasant to talk to but there were a number older ones that seemed grumpy and unpleasant. 2/10 we travel to interstate city and country meets and this is by far the worst experience. Wouldn’t recommend for families and I won’t be going back there anytime soon.

Needs more elevators for disabled visitors. In the future, travellators would be a great installation.

Always a good day out at the races. Especially in the owners rooms with delicious food served till about 3pm and then desserts till 6pm. Always some pies and sausage rolls available in the warmer. Not too long a wait at the bar to get drinks. Great viewing of the finish line.

We had the most outstanding Friday night racing at Mooney Valley. From the moment we bought our entry tickets we were give the most amazing service. Mr Charles Borg who met us at the enquiry entrance took us on a wonderful tour of all the facilities after getting out members guest badges for us. He even gifted me a Cox Plate badge and I was thrilled. He showed us where we should go and eat and watch the horse parade and the best views there. Charles showed us his love for tge Mooney Valley club. It was a wonderful evening. He even said comefind him at Flemington the next day in the mounting yard. Unfortunately we didn't get too. But I will always remember how we were treated by this lovely kind man. He is definitely interested right job as he loves it so. He is worth more money. Victoria Racing we will come back especially after this amazing 2 days racing. Love the Friday night races.

Clean, spacious and well maintained. Came here for a convention and all facilities were in good order. Plenty of convenient parking also. We were well supplied with coffee and tea and the used cups and saucers, tea bags etc were managed well and cleared away promptly - unlike some places. Great views of the race track from the viewing area upstairs.

Currently dealing with Rochel in Hospitality to organise use of the venue for a function. Both Rochel and Stephanie couldn't be more helpful, accommodating or welcoming and we look forward to building a great business partnership with them.

The 3 cheese gnocchi ordered in members cafe $16 had mixed vegetables in bottom of dish, What is that doing in there. Took back saying no vegetables should be in gnocchi. Chef came out saying I'll made a fresh one for you, waited 10 minutes new gnocchi given, it was so so very salty. Makes me wonder if it was on purpose, took it back to cafe staff said they would tell the chef, waited, he poked his head around and quickly ducked back in. I'm very suspicious!!!!

Great fun on racing day! Can get crowded, and queues for drinks can be lengthy, but if the weather persists it's a great day out and thrilling when your pick wins!

Had lunch at Jockey Bar recently at Moonee Valley Racecourse. The meal was buffet and absolutely beautiful meal. The one drawback was that the food was removed very quickly and one lady ate her entree of seafood and went for mains but they mains had gone.
