Friends had recommended so husband and I went and had coffees (soy lattes and flat white) and breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast and avocado smash on toast with side of houlami). Food really nice and avocado smash presented like a piece of art! Guess for all those who like taking photos of food. Though I forget to ask for multigrain..... lots of seating inside and out (front and back) and nicely decorated. Very very popular for take away coffees! Will go back to try some of their lunch items. Some parking out front and side street. 2.6.23 here to pick up my free Coffee (soy latte) in partnership with our local gym. 4.8 there for brunch with 12 of us from gym. 17.11. 11 of us there for brunch, lots of coffees (soy lattes, cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites) and food (muffins, baked oats, fruit toast and paninis - I had cheese and tomato). I actually didn't have phone on me (!) so friend took photo of her beautifully presented oats. We were outside which was nice. 15.12 10 of us there for brunch, I had vegetarian panini (mushrooms and chili mayo) and it was delicious! Others had scrambled eggs, hotcakes and salmon panini and coffees (soy lattes, flat whites and cappuccinos). 2.2.24 acai bowl for me, takeaway panini for husband and nice soy lattes.

The reception is so bad. You get the impression that the staff are bored and the coffee is extremely terrible along with their bad attitude. I wonder who owns this cafe and if they know that some of their staff are completely out of place, and that they should change their attitude towards customers. This bad vibe doesn't make you want to go back there!! And when I read the opinion of others reviewers like Jasmine Souki or Luke S, I totally understand their disappointment with the customer service. There is nothing special about this cafe, except maybe an original touch from the kitchen with a Japanese Australian fusion dishes and a large backyard. You need to change your attitude to one of gratitude! Not recommend this place to anyone !

Cornerstore & Co is a great cafe in Hampton, Melbourne. The food is always delicious and the coffee is excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. I've been to Cornerstone & Co for breakfast, lunch, and coffee, and I've never been disappointed. The breakfast menu has all the classics, like eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and pancakes. The lunch menu has a variety of sandwiches, salads, and bowls. The Buddha Bowl is particularly good. And the coffee is always top-notch. I highly recommend Cornerstone & Co to anyone looking for a great cafe in Hampton. It's the perfect place to start your day with a delicious breakfast, grab a quick lunch on the go, or meet up with friends for a coffee. Here are some specific things I love about Cornerstone & Co: The coffee is always delicious and made to order. The food is fresh and flavorful, and there is a good variety to choose from. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The cafe is located in a convenient spot in Hampton, close to public transport. Overall, I highly recommend Cornerstone & Co to anyone looking for a great cafe experience.

I loved the corn fritters so much, I came back and got them again! Need to come back and try more of the menu, but it’s going to be hard to stay from the fritters!! Yum.

The food at Cornerstone & co never seems to disappoint. Kitchen closes at 2 pm, so if you’re hungry for a late afternoon snack opt for some sweets with an expertly made coffee instead. Asian inspired and infuse dishes are simply wonderful. The courtyard is definitely kid friendly and sunny on a beautiful warm afternoon. Plenty of parking available

I have been coming here for 4 years and these guys have treated me with such kindness! Coffee is really good and food is amazing- especially with the addition of the panino’s if you want something cheaper. Even when I moved I still make the journey back to cornerstone to visit for a coffee and a kamo nanban. :)

The baked eggs special was really yum!! The duck nanban was okay. The server wasn’t very happy and was quite blunt but beside that the overall experience was good. Also 3-4 people were turned away for food because the kitchen shuts quite early at 2pm, which is a bit strange given they have a lunch menu. Overall a nice place and will most likely go back :)

Good food and nice menu. Wait staff were a bit blunt and it’s a bit odd that the kitchen closes at 2pm (when the actual cafe opening hours are til 3pm). Overall nice cafe! Just get there before 2pm.

Best coffee and good variety on the menu for all day breakfast and lunch's. Today I had Chilli Scrambled eggs. Best I have had in a very long time. So filling and tasty and a nice hint of heat. Not too much, but enough. Amazing guys!

Nice little cafe away from the bustle of Hampton St. Back courtyard is beautiful on a spring day and good menu range for breakfast, brunch or lunch (lots of kid friendly options too).

Next level brunch!!!! Incredible food you’d normally find in a high-end CBD restaurant. We ordered the SPECIAL - Mince on Toast & Boysenberry Ricotta Hotcakes. The dish flavours and top notch presentation is unbelievable. Hat off to the Head Chef and the kitchen team for doing such a great job. ***lots of work needs to be done with the customer service, the foods definitely a saviour for the venue, wouldn't be back if not**

Great local cafe with excellent coffee! Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The food never disappoints - I especially love their okonomiyaki, rosti benny and all their paninis. A little bit pricey, but still worth it.

I love to call in an order for an egg & bacon panino and a latte, pick up & run to work, but it’s also a cozy little place to have breakfast out on your morning off. I wake up thinking of their unique toasted panino with sesame seeds, unbeatable. And their coffee is great.

After numerous visits for take away coffee, we have decided to leave a review for the terrible customer service of one of the main staff on all occasions. Rude, impatient and dismissive, that is no way to greet or speak to customers. We will not be going here again; although it is our closest coffee shop to home.

Best hotcakes! Perfection! V sound coffee and delicious lunch menu. Sandwiches too always worth a look.

  • 2/5 James G. 3 years ago on Google
The food was displayed beautifully, but the flavours were underwhelming. I got the Rosti Benny, I asked for medium poached eggs and got served runny whites... the serving size of salmon was poor, the fish smelt and tasted off. The Signature French toast was pretty good, but the ‘espresso mascarpone’ just tasted of cheese. And the seasonal fruits were sour. After we finished our plates were cleared, and the staff didn’t do a 5 minute check or ask any questions about if the food it was ‘all good’. In the end it was over priced for a small local cafe.

I frequently attend this little hidden gem and it never disappoints. Coffee is great and service is with a smile. Today I had the Buddha bowl with chicken and it was absolutely delicious.

I loved this Cafe, hands down the best chai I've had to date. And breakfast was sensational. Rosti with salmon, perfect balance of flavours, textures and looks 11/10.

The toast is very crispy and tough and will destroy your soft gums. I was thrilled to find glass bottles of Lift in the mini fridge! Caramel slice has perfectly creamy caramel between soft, collapsible choc, and biscuit so pleasantly ordinary you forget it's there ~128g.

Sweet and small with good food. Love the back patio area in warm weather. The wire chairs look nice, but aren't the most comfortable. The coffee is great and there is now a takeaway window so you don't have to go in to order.

As a Japanese-born Japanese, it’s not always easy to find Japanese-quality Japanese foods in Melbourne. If you try “Okonomiyaki” and “Kamo Nanban” at here, you won’t be disappointed even if you are Japanese. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere & friendly staffs.
