👍 Went on a Tuesday night and ate outside in the Beer Garden. The burger was very good quality if not slightly dry. Burgers come with ample chips when eating in and they chips were perfect amount of crispy. Also had a Ferrero Shake which was excellent. Staff were also super friendly. Will go back People often mention burger, burgers, friendly, staff, chips, chicken, experience,

Very average Burgers and overly priced!! Would not recommend, better off going to Maccas, each burger cannot be bought by itself and comes with flavourless chips priced at $20 minimum.

Was mistakingly under the impression they had cheesecake cups (must have been an old Instagram post) and was most disappointed to learn they did not. We managed to console ourselves with a Ferraro shake which whilst not a cheesecake was pretty damn delicious. The chips were yummy too but someone had been too heavy handed with the salt. The burger was enjoyable but nothing special. The shake was the clear highlight

We tried a chicken burger and a beef burger. I recommend the beef burger as it was juicy, flavourful and moist. The mayo and mustard was not overpowering with the pickles and the bun was sweet which complemented the burger. The chicken burger was ok. The meat was grilled and not over cooked and succulent, however the guacamole on the burger had mint which didn't go well with the flavours of the chicken burger so we weren't a huge fan of that one.

Staff were very friendly. Restaurant was clean and I like the minimalist movie posters. Food came out fairly quickly. Burgers are quite expensive but were above average. I had the 'Dumb Things', a triple cheeseburger.

Personally one of the better burgers I've had in Melbourne. Service was tremendous as well. Had the highway to hell without the peppers myself.

Great service from friendly staff. The back area was well heated and everything was clean. The burgers were brilliant. We were a group of 20+ and everyone enjoyed their meals.

"I recently visited this Burger House in Bayswater and was blown away by the quality of their burgers! From the juicy and flavorful patties to the fresh toppings, everything was top-notch. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious burger in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Ample parking options available and it was so convenient and stress-free to find a spot, even during peak hours"

I’ve always enjoyed getting a meal with the family at Flame Trees and have been several times since it first opened. I would say it has been maybe a year or so since visiting and although it was a pleasant experience dining in something feels different and I noticed slight changes that make me think it’s now under different management than last time we visited. Nothing was bad as such, and the food was nice, but It’s just different and not in a positive way. The burgers just tasted dry and the buns were huge, so it’s more bread less meat, and very little fillings. The chips are different and taste like the cheap ones from the frozen foods isle at the supermarket. Same with the sweet potato fries. In short, it just feels like the quality has dropped while the prices remain the same. We enjoyed our meal and I’m not complaining as such, but I don’t see myself returning any time soon as it’s not as good as it once was. I hope management take this criticism in a positive way and improve the quality of the burgers again.

We had the “highway to hell” burgers which were both filling and very tasty. Love the patties here. They taste like premium beef. Chips were nice too.

im … so… thirsty My group ordered the “Never say her name”, the double “Find Some Friends” and a Parma. Both the chicken and beef burgers were so, so dry, and the bun didn’t help. Perhaps would have been better if it wasn’t overcooked. The signature sauce was okay. The fries were overcooked, but well seasoned. … and now the Parma… sadly the most disappointing Parma I have ever tried. The schnitzel tasted store-bought (perhaps just not very well prepared). Not enough Napoli sauce, and would’ve liked the cheese to be browned more. The highlight of the meal was the side salad served with the Parma. Service was judgemental and unforgiving. Waitress seemed quite annoyed at all the modifications during ordering, but we were some of the only customers in the store. Worth mentioning that one of the other staff members was wonderful (hence 2 stars). How sad :(

I've been here a couple of times now, and i have to say, FANTASTIC, as it is a small venue I wasn't expecting much, but I recommend you check it out, it also only 5 to 8 minutes walk from the Bayswater station, well worth the effort to travel here. even if you haven't got a car. I plan to go again with a few other people!!!

The chicken wings used to be impeccable. Full of flavour, juicy and would completely fall off the bone. Unfortunately, something seems to have changed and it now seems to be hit and miss. The last few times the chicken has almost been inedible and so tough. Please make them as they used to!

Burgers and chips were very tasty. I was happy that they offered gluten free burger buns, I just wish they had toasted them. It makes a massive difference for gluten free bread. We had to close the sliding doors where we sat near the back because it was a really cold day and there was quite a cold breeze flowing through from back to front.

What a delight to experience burgers like no other. The menu offers a variety of tastes that would tempt even the fussiest of taste spuds, not to mention the Loaded Pulled Pork Fries with toppings to die for. You must come down to the the best burger bar to sample their sensational delights for yourself.

I really enjoyed my trip out to flame trees. The place is nice, and the burgers are excellent. The service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant was empty. Otherwise no complaints.

Burgers are excellent, along with their wings! Sauces definitely taste homemade too, it’s the little things! I wouldn’t hesitate going here a third time 🤫

Great burgers and vibe. The burger patties are juicy and the fillings are generous. The highlight however, is definitely the fries. Seasoned perfectly and unbelievably crispy! I can't wait to come back to try their other menu items

Always my go to meal when I want to treat myself! The burgers are great, the maple bacon alone could keep me coming back. The staff are awesome and make Flametrees that much better 🙂

This place in my personal experience is the best burger place on this side of the city, the burgers are cooked fresh and you can taste it, the more expensive the bigger the burger my favourite is the holy grail, it’s just perfect every time. Dining in, the beer garden is small but it’s big enough for our little puppies to sit next to us and the staff are always friendly. And the shakes are fantastic, just like days gone by, milk shakes and burgers the best combination.

Recently visited for a friend's birthday and had a great experience. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The Holy Grail was my burger of choice and it did not disappoint. The pork belly layer was definitely something special. Will be back again soon!

Flame Trees Burger and Bar in Bayswater delivers an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend trying the Rosie Burger for a delightful blend of flavors, and the Double Down Under Burger for a hearty, satisfying meal. The quality of ingredients and the creativity in their menu set this place apart. A must-visit for burger enthusiasts!
