😠 Very very bad management behaviour when I entered into the Resturant for dinning. I try to order some dish which I like and when I finalised one dish of $23.00 and requested the waiter not put beans in that dish because I am diabetic and avoid beans in the meal, I asked him to put mushrooms instead... People often mention Malaysian, restaurant, chicken, service, Jazz, dishes, friendly, dish, tasty, good,

Very very bad management behaviour when I entered into the Resturant for dinning. I try to order some dish which I like and when I finalised one dish of $23.00 and requested the waiter not put beans in that dish because I am diabetic and avoid beans in the meal, I asked him to put mushrooms instead of beans then manger came to me in a very very rude way and start asking me the extra money for mushrooms which was equivalent to the price of another dish which was about $21.90, it was really insane and was talking to me very badly and every time he was continuously saying that I am very busy , I am very and not willing to listen and talking to me very rudely that if u want mushrooms , I will add extra $21.90 in the dish price. This is not acceptable at all and when I was leaving the Resturant , the manager start using very bad words with me. It looks to me that he didn’t want to serve me at all and act as a racist and that’s why he was asking too much money for mushrooms. We should avoid these types of restaurants which don’t have any manners and don’t know how to deal with customers. He could asked me $4-5 extra, which was not too bad, instead of making my insult which triggered me to leave the restaurant without eating any thing at all. Very very bad experience I have soo far.

Really nice Malaysian restaurant with Malaysian style layout and design, this place is lovely and cosy. The food is delicious also and with a modest menu, you can generally make a quick choice. The Malaysian seafood dishes are really tasty and fabulous but also the duck dishes are outstanding. Of course they have Nasi Goreng and Singapore noodles, but the Laksa dishes are fantastic. The salt & pepper calamari is a Malaysian classic and also really tasty. The prices are moderate and very affordable, so you are looking at around $20 to $40 for one person. The place is close to transport and the service is pretty good and staff are nice and friendly. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Great local lunch spot, relaxed, fast service, well priced - $12.90 for Nasi lemak with chicken and $12 for Mee Goreng. Meals are well sized, tasty and authentic. They do lunch specials and also have a full menu to compliment. Seating is comfortable. There was a quiet tune of Jazz playing in the background, but needed to be turned up a bit. Photos of famous jazz players on the walls. Accept card has a toilet. Was busy when we came for lunch with a full array of families and friends of all ages. I would recommend

Nice Malaysian restaurant in Balwyn. Has a range of asian dishes to select from although not all are typically Malaysian. All the dishes we had were good, my favourite was probably the Pandan roti with icecream.

Dined for dinner prior to watching a movie at nearby Palace Balwyn cinema. We shared the chicken lohbak & satay chicken skewers for entree and beef rendang with coconut rice & roti for main. All the food was delicious, we enjoyed it & will definitely return. Service friendly.

This is one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. I was in a really high-end South Yarra restaurant the other day. It was GREAT. We tried the calamari and I said. "Delicious but not Jazzria." My husband said " Yes but Jazzria is exceptional" So true. Try the beschlam spinach. Its just spinach and sauce and garlic. I Put that in my bowl tonight and could have eaten just that ... . The butter chicken is wonderful. The seafood curry laksa is amazing. I have been dining here for 15 years probably 15 times a year and my family never get sick of the big, bold, beautiful flavours and textures. This is one of the best restaurants in Melbourne.

This place has been here for ages and is consistently tasty. A bit too expensive for takeaway on a budget, but worth the price for the quantity if you can afford. The vegetarian curry and coconut rice is a must have, and the spicy tofu is delicious. Definitely more of a blended cuisine than totally authentic Malaysian, but still a local legend and among the best on the street for quality take away.

Great little Malaysian restaurant. Went here for lunch, the lunch specials are well prices at $12 - $13, with a good selection. We went with a group of 6, and everyone loved their meal. I had the Roti Chicken Curry which was excellent. Very flavorsome and a good sized serve. The service was friendly and efficient, and the jazz music in the background makes for a nice vibe.

Had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. Not spacious nor large but the decor was nice and the service was good. The Malaysian dishes tasted authentic but on the pricey side.

Great food. Lovely staff. Quick, polite and friendly service. Relaxing yet lively ambiance. We will be back. Starters- Piping hot and crispy vegetable spring rolls with delicious sauce. Satay chicken skewers, Chicken lobak (like a sausage) Mains- Gado Gado - warm satay noodle, vegetable and tofu salad- divine. My partner had Kantan duck- a tangy gingery dish. Ambiance- relaxing background jazz and low level conversation buzz. Easy to hear and converse. The manager/owner who greeted us was very friendly and impressively remembered our names on leaving! You can BYO fro only 2.50$ per person. Also does take away.

Very disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. The green curry chicken was disgraceful with the chicken being very rubbery and the look and taste of the cream sauce was like it had come out of a can. No flavour at all and was not edible. The entre of satay chicken sewers consisted of two tiny skewers with hardly a mouthful of chicken between them and no sign of peanut in the sauce. The beef with black bean sauce once again had absolutely no flavour and was very bland and tiny portions of the beef. This would have to be the worst dining experience we have had and considering the suburb it is located in, we expected much better. We didn’t end up paying for the green curry chicken. The manager insisted that no one had ever complained and that the menu had not been altered in 24 years… no wonder it was so atrocious.

Nice setting on entry but acoustics turned out to be terrible - we couldn't hear ourselves think but could hear every word of the table next to us! By it's name and the pictures on the walls, I had visions of piped Jazz music but could not tell if this was so due to noisy environment. Being Malaysians by birth, we ordered the beef nasi lemak and the chicken curry laksa - both very mediocre. The chicken slices were very overcooked and dry, the only vege in the laksa was beans. The sambal was unauthentic and a total let down. Will not be returning.

I just paid $25 for laksa!!! What a rip off. To do this to your local community is terrible. I am a small business too I wouldnt do this to my customers. Please think of other inventive ways to get by at this time not to rip off your customers!! Outrageous. Not happy

Doesn't taste authentic, not even close. The honey chicken was bad not recommended. Been many of Malaysian restaurants. This place is overpriced for the taste that average. Chicken Lobak and the noodle was good but totally overpriced for the noodles with only 2-3 prawns in there. Well, it'll be our first and last in there. For the Malaysian tourist i will not recommended this place as there's few Malaysian restaurants around with better taste and price. We don't mind if overprice but tasteful. Not recommended

Had a very tasty enjoyable meal tonight, really enjoyed the mixed vegetables. Patrick on his own was doing a great front of staff job with many customers putting in their orders. Lovely food, great ambience Yvonne
