Stumbled across this little cafe while on the way to Woolworths on a Saturday morning. They do $10 egg and bacon roll with a small coffee for takeaway. You get an option of Siracha Mayo or tomato relish on your roll and they use brioche buns. Though there was a bit of waiting time, the roll was made fresh with passion and it definitely tasted great even after a 10 minute stroll to find the nearest park so we can sit and eat. The store also stocks a whole heap of NZ snacks and ingredients so if you’re a kiwi craving for your favourite snack, this may be a good place to get them. @walksofliv

I’m no kiwi, but Te always makes me feel like family - smiling face, good banter, and incredible food. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to some home-style kiwi cooking (and I definitely recommend a side of bacon with your mince on fry bread)

3.5 ⭐️ Only had coffee and a smoothie for kiddo there but so far I am liking this place. I didn’t even know it was there until I parked at Woolies and was on my way to another cafe. I don’t think there are any signage hanging out front but it seemed popular enough even though it’s not a very busy street. I really wanted to try their bubble tea but I wanted (needed!) a coffee so I had a soy mocha instead. It was really good. Hangry Piglet had a banana smoothie which I was a bit unsure about because it’s not freshly made, but I tried it and it tasted ok, a little bit gluggy. I went late in the arvo and there are not much to offer, I was really hoping for a cake but nothing really caught my eye. I really like the decor and the relaxing environment and the staff though so I will definitely come back to try some food next time!

People of google, I can't stress this enough, this place has absolutely phenomenal coffee, arguably the last good one standing in Southbank. As I've mentioned in old reviews, I used to work at a coffee roaster for 3 years, where I was lectured about coffee daily. I know the difference between coffee crema and coffee 'soot', and this place consistently serves coffee crema, in the sweet golden colour it should be. I highly recommend their long black, with distinct hints of berry and sweetness and no bitterness at all! They have an incredible selection of all things new Zealand; snacks, sweets and sbeer! Seriously, I want my next time visiting there for my long black to be in a long line waiting for good coffee. Let us melbournians save the coffee culture we've worked so hard for! Long live good coffee β˜•

I can't drink coffee and there are only 2 places near my office that serve matcha including this place. I've stopped coming just for the attitude I get when I order a strong matcha with cinnamon on top, the little guy behind the counter literally rolls his eyes at me every time and gets in a huff while he's making it. Why have it on the menu if it's such a drama to make it? Bad attitude aside, the matcha is good....but not work the stress of ordering it.

112 York is the final bastion of outstanding coffee in the south melbourne area. I'm not sure what it is - skill, the beans, the machinery - but damn this place makes a good coffee. As if that weren't good enough, the place also makes great sandwiches and sells beer straight from New Zealand... meaning you can come here for two kinds of buzz! And it comes with good vibes! Visiting here is always a fun time. So what's not to love? Great coffee, great food, great beer, and a great time :) Oh, and value for money! The coffee and the food here is way cheaper than any of the other cafes in the area. It almost doesn't make sense.

Really wanted to love this place and gave it so many chances. Earlier this year pre purchased vogel bread online and ordered several loaves of bread. They told me to pick it up the following week on Tuesday. Drove 40 minutes to pick it up and they said it had not come in yet. No problem, they told me they will call me later in the week to give me an arrival time. No phone call, so I called them up. It has no arrived and they will email me next week. A week later...... no email. So I called again. They said sorry and it has not come in yet and if it has not come in I'll get a refund. A week later, I decided to write an email and ask for a refund. Again no response. After another phone call another email, we have still not received our refund. I have been very polite and understanding during this whole process as I run a small business. There were so many ways you could have solve this problem. I would have drove in to see you again or taken another product. The lack of communication has been a terrible experience. I don't believe it was done to cheat me out of money. You just run a terrible online business.

UPDATE: Just got the cheese burger and chicken burger. I haven't had such great burgers in years. They really have balanced the flavours really well and let the Wagyu flavour shine. The bun was awesome too. I will be back every time I come to Melbourne for sure. Thanks guys! OMFG!! My new go-to place. Amazing smoothies and chai tea. Just spot on in every way. I can't wait until lunch time so I can try the burgers. I highly recommend and I am very fussy. 5 stars all around
