A local place, without a doubt the best local food. Price ratio was also excellent, location was great and food was perfect. Yesterday I went to Chaya maya, but los Almendros is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the other place. Service was excellent too.

My wife and I ate there for the last night we were in Merida. I had the Relleno Negro, it was complex in taste, a bit spicy, a real delight. It was Sunday afternoon early dinner, but there was a good crowd. It was highly recommend, and I must say it was some of the best I had the pleasure to try.

Had not been to Los Almendros for some time. It was a delightful lunch. Bright and cheerful rooms spacious tables and wonderful live music. The food was great, well prepared and presented and so brimming with flavor. Service was very fast. Menu is traditional Yucatecans, but is some of the best I have had. They also have a small parking lot right next to them.

Nice yucatan restaurant to dine in. The sopa de arroz is just flavor rice with cooked banana. It is really good tho. I got the sopa de limon it is nice. The sunday special with chicken has a good sauce. There was a band playing music when I visited at 14h on sunday.

You cannot come to Merida Yuc, and not visit Los Almendros. It is a place of traditional taste and gathering. I recommend their home specialties and “Jugos Naturales” to get your day or evening going. The staff, just like about every establishment in Merida is friendly and courteous. Located a few blocks from the city center, makes this a convenient walk without having to grab a taxi.

Clean, colorful and a local spot. Out of the way of the typical touristy Yucatan restaurants, but well worth going. The service was excellent, the food tasty and well priced. Worth going.

Food was great, menu is simple but wide enough to get a taste of Yucatan. The main entrance of the restaurant is on the street, however there’s a roofed parking lot with another entrance there. Overall I recommend, great for family meals. I ordered a small sample of “relleno negro” just to try it and it’s a little spicy and delicious, be sure to try if you like spicy food.

Fairly priced authentic Yucatán cuisine. Their panuchos are second to none. Huge parking lot under a roof, and service was excellent, spotless clean and all silverware comes fully disinfected in a sealed plastic bag. Great choice and less busy than the Chaya Maya

Nice place that came recommended by family. The meats and dishes were flavorful and tasty, however I felt the portions were too small versus the prices. Servers were professional yet not overly courteous during our visit. Place was well managed for covid-19 with spaced seating. Atmosphere was fine!

The place was very clean and the service from the staff was excellent. Food was almost great, our cochinita pibill was a little dry but still tasted good. All other items we got were really good, just a little bit disappointed in the pibill since its the reason we went there. But overall great place.

Sopa de Lima here is out of this world! I will definitely be back for a full entree and to try all their other delicious menu items!

😐 Beautiful setting, very helpful and excellent staff. Their menu has just about every dish for which the Yucatan is known. So this might be a good first stop for you to get an idea of what food you will find on the rest of your trip. Our food was just OK. I would not recommend this restaurant if you...

👍👍 Excellent! I ordered three of the pastor tacos. My wife ordered two chicken tacos. Best we've had in a very long time and we're loaded with meat. Two classic Margaritas each. Both were tasty and potent. I wasn't done so I ordered two of the bistec (steak) tacos. Also yummy! We will definitely go...
