If I could give this place no stars I would! We were visiting Mérida only for a few nights and were excited to see this place so close to where we were staying. The menu looked excellent. But what a disappointment! Unfriendly service, except for the young bartender who did more than his one job and ended up serving as our waiter after our waiter just didn’t bother to do anything after taking our order. Then, the food. My partner enjoyed his meal fine, but both my starter and main dishes were not good. I couldn’t even eat them as the meat and grilled octopus I ordered were so tough and inedible I felt I had to provide the feedback. Wow, did that upset them! They not only didn’t apologize for my lack of enjoyment - though the guacamole and potatoes and tortillas were fine and ended up being my meal. They were actively ignoring us for the check and then when they brought it, still no acknowledgment for what I told the waiter/bartender about the poor food prep. Meat and octopus should not be too chewy or overcooked. Finally the check arrived and we were surprised but accepted that they still charged us for my meal entirely, not even a discount for the inconvenience. But the real kicker is that the manager had the nerve to suggest that the tip was not included in the check. We smiled, but left no tip. And then we got back to our place to see they illegally added a tip for themselves. So they are thieves on top of being incompetent and rude. Travelers and locals beware! To the establishment's comment: Dear team over there: you could "refine certain details" by refining the attitude and customer service skills of the manager on duty after 7 pm on Monday, 9/26, as she was the one who stole the tip by applying an unauthorized charge for it on our credit card. Never even apologized for my unpleasant meal, but had the nerve to take an unearned tip. Shame on her.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. My favorite beers are IPAs and the IPA here did not disappoint. I walked around the city all day yesterday (wore me out!) and, after walking again all morning today, I didn't feel like wandering too far from my hotel for lunch - I'm glad I made this choice!

This place was a great find, dinner was fantastic. I had the “XCATIC" CHILI STUFFED WITH BEEF and my friend had CATCH OF THE DAY WITH BROCCOLI PUREE, both dishes were fabulous. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, great service. I would return to Merida just to eat here!

Great steak tacos and the service was excellent. Louis was am exceptional waiter. He was a university student learning English so we helped each other out a bit. If you are staying near the convention center in Merida you should give this place a try.

Good place to try the local craft beer Patito by trying the 5 oz 4-beer sampler offered for 80 pesos. Menu items are pretty good also; we had the esquite, pork ribs and tabbouleh made with quinoa and fondant with ice cream for dessert. Prices are pretty affordable, about average for this part of town.

This eatery is near the convention center with easy access and outdoor dining. The staff are friendly and helpful. Louis was a very helpful and kind waiter and university student who helped me with my Spanish and I helped him with his English. I highly recommend their sirloin tacos.

5 stars because the staff was SO nice - especially considering I’m a gringa who speaks no Spanish. Plus they had my favorite dessert (chocolate lava cake)

Fantastic food and drinks! All yummy and original. The last picture is the veggie burger, great flavor and presentation, the pattie was fresh not pre made frozen from a box. Visit Merida ♥️

Pretty place and nice servers. However, my groups tequila and mezcal shots were HEAVILY watered down. I'm more buzzed from one paloma from another bar than I got from 6 shots from this location.

Food is mediocre. I ordered the grilled octopus and it was bland. Otherwise, the service was ok. But overall thought it was overpriced

😐 Beautiful setting, very helpful and excellent staff. Their menu has just about every dish for which the Yucatan is known. So this might be a good first stop for you to get an idea of what food you will find on the rest of your trip. Our food was just OK. I would not recommend this restaurant if you...

👍👍 Excellent! I ordered three of the pastor tacos. My wife ordered two chicken tacos. Best we've had in a very long time and we're loaded with meat. Two classic Margaritas each. Both were tasty and potent. I wasn't done so I ordered two of the bistec (steak) tacos. Also yummy! We will definitely go...
