Great italian food restaurant to enjoy with the family, prices are a little high but the food is worth it, I strongly suggest to order for starters an ocen made pizza while waiting for your main course meal, while enjoy either a nice beer or a good red wine from their selection. I definitelly recomend it, just make sure to make a reservation one day before if you want to avoid having to wait for a seat.

An exceptional restaurant. Always a wonderful vibe. The waiters are the background, yet attentive. The simple presentation of authentic Italian cuisine is traditional. Well portioned and priced meals. A rare gem!

Overall the Food is Great and the Service is Good. La Trattoria de Guadalaja Mexico is One of my Favorite Restaurants.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Guadalajara Location: the restaurant exterior is rather unassuming and you can easily drive by it. Signage isn't overtly obvious. Parking: Parking is very limited, but the restaurant does offer a relatively inexpensive valet service. Your vehicle is parked across the street and there appears to always be an attendant available to help and watch over vehicles. Service: It's evident that this restaurant offers front-of-house training to staff. Staff are nothing short of friendly, respectful and very professional. We tipped well and would STRONGLY encourage visitors to follow suit. The restaurant is very clean; including the bathrooms. This is a very important detail to our family. Food: I like to judge restaurants by simple dishes. I always order the Aglio e Olio as an initial introduction into the base talents of the back staff. Unfortunately, I could not find fault with my dish. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the aglio had a perfectly slight toast and the olio emulsion with infused red pepper was exquisite. The rest of the family enjoyed their respective dishes on both occasions with highlights to the veal and the ravioli. The restaurant also offers pizzas for wanting a different option. I did not try it, but family members enjoyed their Margherita pizza a lot. Wine: This restaurant showcases delicious wines from different parts of the world, including outstanding wines from Mexico (3V, Ensamble, etc.). Attire: Although there were casually dressed patrons, I would encourage a dress shirt and perhaps a sports coat for men. It doesn't appear to be necessary, but the quality of this restaurant, the professionalism of staff and the cleanliness of the site almost demand patrons to wear proper attire. Again, the restaurant does not require formal attire, but it would be strongly recommended.

What to start by saying service was excellent but with that being said I had high hopes for the food with the ratings showed. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and I was very upset with the plate. The Alfredo tasted more like a gravy. If they gave me mashed potato's and chicken instead of pasta this probably would of been a diferente review

Fabulous restaurant!!! I can say, without a doubt, it is now my favorite restaurant in Guadalajara! Excellent food and great value for your pesos!

An excellent meal with equally excellent service in a comfortable, relaxed environment.

The staff were fantastic. The food was everything I expected. The sauce on my parmesan chicken excellent. I know there is a "g" in that word somewhere. But the sauce had a "g" in it.

This was the best Italian meal I’ve had other than being in Italy. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the dishes came out hot, the flavors were balanced. We had bruschetta that was amazing. My pesto was wonderful, and my husband had an Alfredo sauce with chicken. The service was wonderful. And the prices were very good. This was our second night there because of first was so good

Excellent service. Had the combination la trattoria. Spaghetti and fettuccine were very good, lasagne not that much. Panna Cotta was sooo good.

Hearty and somewhat refined Mexican take on Italian food. Restaurant hasn’t altered its main recipes since the 80s, a testament to how great the food is. Tables are closer together than what I’d prefer and server’s attention was impeccable during the busiest times. Not to mention how accommodating they are for vegan diets. Unfortunately, their pasta contains eggs!

The food was very good and the staff was very attentive at all times. Good selection of wines to a company your meal.

One of the best Italian Restaurats in Guadalajara City, Quality, Taste, Portions, Service and Prices are Unbeatables for more than 40 years the consistency is almost unreal. i am a regular client for more than 40 years, my Dad took me to this restaurant since i was 6 years old, i continue to have dinner with my own family nowadays is impresive….
