Hostel is very very loud, I couldn’t sleep. The photos are nor true, probably taken right after reconstruction. Rooms need some repair, and there are a bugs in the bathroom. The washing machine is terribly dirty. I give two stars, because the bed is comfortable and the staff helpful. But never again.

I have stayed at over 10 different hostels in Miami and I have to say, this one was one of if not the best experience. They provided free breakfast AND dinner. As well each bed came with its own outlet for charging, shelf, and night light. This is absolutely HUGE. To not have to fight for an outlet at a convenient location next to your bed? Amazing. Not only that the lockers were full size where you can fit ALL of your full size luggage and even a metal safe is included where u make your own code to lock up valuables. There is free drinks from 9-10 pm and nightclub crawls every night. Social atmosphere was great. This hostel was impeccable.

Great location and staff. Offer free bagels for breakfast with coffee and dinner with nothing to drink. Rooms were nice but my bathroom was dated and had a huge window in the shower with no privacy. It's great for the price overall but not do straight forward. Bring your own blanket as they don't provide one.

Not wery clean at arrival, After 5 days, we asked for clean towels. We were told to wash them ourselves l, and the soap dispenser at the washing machines didn't work. Plus, the dryer didn't work well enough. So we had to hang them to dry. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for everything! My family and I had a pleasant stay! Also thank you for letting us check in a little bit earlier. Definitely helps with having a 6 month old 👶 I've also read reviews about bugs. I didn't see any at all. And I'm strict about inspecting the room/bedding. Everything was very clean. The housekeeping didn't speak any English which is fine. Google translate doesn't hurt. They are very nice and do a wonderful job. Extremely close to the beach like a 5 minute walk from our room. Only thing I didn't like was the tub it could definitely use a new one. I felt as I should wear sandals while showering which is my only complaint. But we enjoyed our stay and the team is great!

These apartments are right on Collins above a bar. I guess we should have anticipated but the windows are paper thin so it is incredibly noisy. The other guests are also loud and inconsiderate despite the quiet hours they deem to enforce. You can only sleep with ear plugs, if at all. The building and the rooms are run down and not as advertised. It’s a fully self serve check in facility. I would only recommend these apartments for college students looking to party and not looking for much else. The communal kitchen is bare and not clean. They provided minimal supplies including very poor quality and thin towels. No bath mat was provided so it’s wet when you get out of the shower unless you use one of the few towels provided. When asked for more clean towels because not enough were provided, this was refused and told these were bare bone apartments where you can do your own laundry but you have to provide your own cleaning products! Two positives is that the staff are responsive even if not particularly helpful and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

I have been trying to get the refund from this hotel, they cancelled my reservation with no authorization and don't want to refund me back. I called they were very rude, I have emailed and they say nothing they can do, lost $350 If you can, NEVER book on this hotel.

this was my first time to south beach and i’m so glad i chose this hotel. you get exactly what you pay for.. the location is excellent and honestly the hotel itself was awesome. our toilet when we arrived didn’t flush and was fixed within 20 minutes.. they could definitely paint the rooms and make it look 100 times better.

The hostel definitely exceeded my expectations. I travel solo at least twice per month, often staying at different hostels through the US. This one was definitely the best one so far. The location is great, basically 2 minutes from the beach. The rooms are big, have the power outlets, small shelf and light per each bed. They also provide a big locker (6 feet tall or so) per guest. It has a small electronic safe inside so even if you don’t have a lock, you can put there your wallet, passport and feel confident. And each room has a bathroom with shower inside. If coming back to Miami, I would definitely stay there again.

My first experience staying in Miami Beach was ruined by our stay in this place. Our unit 215 on the second floor, directly above a bar/restaurant was rundown down. The furniture was falling apart and there was no such thing as peace and quite. There was music pumping until past 4am some nights and you can hear everything down to people talking outside. We were willing to laugh all that off and blame it on the ‘you get what you paid for’, but hotel management made things way worse. There was a terrible winter storm that hit the US which caused temps to drop to the 40s in Miami during our stay. After spending the whole day freezing out butts off sight seeing, we arrive to our room with a temperature that felt lower then outside. The AC unit in the room which indicated it also had heat, was purposely disabled. When I called management about it, I was told that the unit did not include heat and that the most they could do was send extra blankets. Sleeping in a freezing room is not an issue for me, but having to wear 3 sweaters, 2 leggings and 2 pairs of sucks just to be in the room while not sleeping, was miserable. The fact that they made us have to go through that was plain awful.

The most horrible and worse experience I have ever had visiting a hotel/hostel. When you enter the room a disgusting smell of desinfectant and mould is coming your way. The floor is sticky, the ventilations are dripping with mould (which causes the smell), you don't have any view, when the AC kicks in it sounds like a jet taking off (every 20 minutes). We stay on the first floor and there is no possibility to sleep before 3 in the morning due to loud music and people slamming the doors and shouting in the hallway

The location and the price is unbeatable. My only complaints is that the room was very humid and that you literally feel like you're in a club at night due to bars surrounding it, so if you're a light sleeper, stay away. Will probably come back.

We love to come back to this place. 3 mins from the beach. Not always quiet though but the music from the bar downstairs is not bad - but loud.

Do not stay here. The apartments are unkept and when we were here for Christmas the floors were very unclean as if they were greasy, management insisted they would help but no results

DONT RECOMMEND! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! As soon as we arrived to the hotel room we realized the room was not like the pictures (falsely advertised rooms with kitchen and extra sofa). Room was dirty. We called to complain but they said they couldn’t do anything and they also refused a refund or change of room. On the second day our electronic lock on the room door ran out of battery and had to wait 40min for someone to come and fix it. There were cockroaches all over the hotel and we also found a worm in the shower (probably because of all the mold). There was someone’s underwear behind our bed with clearly tells THAT THEY DONT CLEAN THE ROOMS. We had to stay for a week and got told they don’t replace towels. No one is on the premises to help and every time we called to let them know we were not comfortable with our booking they said there was nothing they could do. DISGUSTING!!!

These people are a scam!!!! Upon booking they list a different picture and then provide you with a different room. I will weite reviews and complain until I get my money back from these thieves

During my 7-day stay, the room was not cleaned, and the towels were not changed. Surprisingly, there was no kitchen in the room, contrary to expectations. Although there was a microwave, we had to wash dishes in the bathroom, as there was no kitchen sink as depicted in the pictures, which turned out to be inaccurate. Fortunately, the check-in process was smooth, and I had completed all the required forms weeks before the check-in date. I received the door code a few days before checking in, but there is no reception. On a positive note, the accommodation is very close to the beach. Paid $1300 for 7 days during the New Year week.

HORRIBLE. Run down, and extremely dirty. Management was of no use of help at all, towels were dirty and the AC was malfunctioning. In fact, i dont even think it even worked. AC air is usually blown cold and It would indicate "on" but maybe it was intentionally programmed to blow air so it would make it look like it wasnt broken. Last thing, beware of stains on bedsheets. Overall, very dissapointed.

Such a great value for the money spent! Went there for a few days in January - first time staying in a hostel. The complementary food was pretty good and the staff was perfectly friendly. Would definitely recommend. Only complaint was a drunk travelled went and passed out in my bed the second night I was staying there and I had to wake him up to explain to him that he was in my bed. I like to make my living area look nice so he thought it wasn’t being used, but I had my “bed taken” card showing clearly on the bedside.

First and only hostel I have stayed at. It was a great experience. There is a bar and common area that attracts a lot of people throughout the day. Then there is a lounge area specifically for hostel guests with some games. The rooms were cleaned daily when I stayed and there is more than enough storage spaces for luggage. I would stay here again while in Miami.

Very easy to get to when you know how the system/check on works. Close to everything and the free trolley.

I went in 2015, when it was the old hostel then- first time to stay in a hostel, they had ac units on the windows- it was a little old but who cares it was $33,, and you were in walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants, free breakfast lunch n dinner- n then you'd pay 10 or 15 dollars to drink lots plus the party bus drops you off at the bar- it is loud, it's for party people,I loved this place!

Worst hostel I ever stayed in; and believe me I have traveled to over 30 countries. The place is always dirty, there is Wifi only in the lobby not in the rooms, the beds are like if you were 12 years old, must of the air conditioning don't work properly, they never returned the 20usd for security. They have problems with the water so there is water only from 7am-10am and from 5pm-10pm. The only thing is close to main street other than that I would not recommend this hostel AT ALL!!!

I stayed here in 2009 for 3 weeks and I still reminisce about this place. I walked past it in 2018 and I got the same vibe! It's a party hostel for sure - great if you want to meet people. Isn't that what it's all about?! :)

Do NOT book here. The advertisement is fraudulent in comparison to the housing. Dirty, broken tile (safety hazard) horrible host that will ignore your calls for assistance. Then when we went through Airbnb to file the discrepancies based on pictures of evidence, they gave us a hard time. We immediately left and booked elsewhere. This management and properties are dishonest and will NOT try to honor refund policies until called out for their false advertisement and inability to follow policy and procedure. If you book here be ready for the back and forth if you are as disappointed as many have been.
