My fast food of choice is A&W and this was fine. We waited a little longer than what I expected and it's not as pleasant a place as some other A&Ws. I'm sure they are trying their best!

Food is good as always but the service is not that good. The girl with the purple hair didn’t smile, no welcome greeting courtesy .. nothing. She was the only staff member at the front desk and was juggling between drive- in orders and in-dining order. I guess she was really busy. The boys flipping burgers at the back were also not that friendly. I guess really busy staff. What I liked was the memorabilia stuff displayed about the years gone by and how A&W (of that location) was at the past.

Tonight at 6:00 pm at the A&W drive thru I was given the 2 Baby Burgers and 2 Chubby Chicken Combos I ordered, and I payed $37 dollars for it all. My friends and I got food. Half way through chicken burger was clearly raw chicken. As soon as she noticed she spit it out. We aren’t sure if she ate any of it. I called the store and talked to a female manager. I said to her I just came through drive thru and the one chicken burger was raw and she asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I told her that I won’t be coming back and I wanted all my money back and she said if I came into the store with my receipt I would get my money back. When I went in the person at the cash register didn’t go get the manager for me and I told him it’s raw and he said to throw it out. He only gave me $9.35 back only for the chicken burger and I said to him the manager I talked to on the phone said she was giving me all my money back and he said no we can’t do that & there wasn’t no manager there. Tomorrow I’m getting in contact with the Health Board. I’m very disappointed with how I was treated by the manger and the guy that gave me my money back. They acted as if it wasn’t wrong what happened. The manager on the phone didn’t seem to care about possibly getting severe food poisoning or sick.

The place has been remodeled. It looks like they have moved things around. Need a different recipe for the onion rings. The breading part falls apart and is dry. The burger was ok.. the meal itself self was not worth close to 40.00 for 2. The service is always good.. no issues there.

The drive through is the absolute worse. This A&W needs more and courteous staff. The girl this morning should go back home if she can't even pretend to enjoy her job.

We decided to eat in the restaurant on our last visit, every single table was dirty. The only clean surface was the bar top area. We immediately regretted not getting our food to go. It felt gross being in there, even the area around the condiments, napkins etc was disgusting. Covered in garbage and ketchup. While we waited for our food, a female staff member was on a personal phone call in a booth, but she had the call on speaker, and it was not an appropriate call to be having on speaker in a place of business or while at your place of work. It was all younger people working there, nobody seemed to care about the state the place was in….I get it, I worked in customer service and made minimum wage when I was younger too, but a little pride in your job and workplace goes a long way!

Under staffed, poorly managed. Food wasn't even hot. Toast wasn't even toasted. Bathrooms dirty haven't been cleaned. I was in at 10 am. No reason for a dirty tables, floors. Totally disgusting. A&W Canada needs take better care of their franchises!!!!!!

Waited at the cashier for 8 min no one anckowlwdged my existance, employees walk by cash and dont take order, soley focused on drive throu or some machine refills. Garbage service, not the 1st time its been like this. Never ordering from this location again
