They put on an open day 3 open days a year, and provide bus rides between the museum and Dewsbury. A good afternoon out at minimal cost (the rides are free with a donation to the museum), be it only 3 times a year. The museum is open at other times and is always worth a look inside, to see how preservation comes to life.

It’s basically a bus garage full of old buses, some working, others under restoration. Nothing fancy but for the true bus connoisseur it’s fascinating. Open day tomorrow, can’t wait.

Preserved buses and coaches from the local area which sometimes have open days where the old buses are used to give free rides to members of the public

Wonderful day out with fabulous pieces of history, only open on select days throughout the year (next one is march 2024) as they're all amazing volunteers working hard to restore precious pieces of history.
