I took advantage of the free breastfeeding clinic twice; the first time when my little one was 3.5 weeks and then again a week later. They really helped to boost my confidence with breastfeeding where I felt overwhelmed.. helped with posture and positioning and determined how much my little guy was getting from a feed, as well as some great tips and advice. I love that we have these services available and strongly recommend them to whomever is looking for some help and support with breastfeeding.

This is a fantastic free service for new moms. Breastfeeding can be surprisingly challenging, and the faster new mom and a baby learn how to do it the easier everything is going to be after. I went there 4-5 times during first 2 weeks, the staff was super welcoming and friendly, very informative and patient. Once the baby learned how to eat, her sleep has also normalized, which made our life much easier. Staff has also consulted me on how to feed from a bottle, burp etc. I’ve seen some bad feedback about wait times - I guess it should be understood that there is limited staff and babies can take their time to eat :) They do try to accommodate everybody as fast as possible and meet the scheduled appointment time or see a baby when you just walk in. Totally recommend it!

Parenting is extremely rewarding but can leave you feeling lost and confused. My wife and I had issues breastfeeding our newborn. It seems we have tried everything but were only successful half the time. So many factors to consider...was there enough milk production, are the ducts clogged, does our baby not like the process...what could it be? We decided to visit this breastfeeding clinic and we left feeling extremely happy that we did. Yvonne spent time listening to our concerns, calming down my wife, and providing amazing tips on how to succeed. We were able to identify where we were making mistakes and fixed it before we left our visit. This provided incredible mental and emotional relief and we cannot express how grateful we are for Yvonne’s support and advice. Highly recommended!

Excellent community resource for new mothers. I definitely recommend all new mothers to visit the clinic. Amy was amazing and extremely helpful in answering our concerns regarding feeding. I also like that fact that in general the clinic is very supportive of natural breastfeeding and don't push for product endorsements, unlike some lactation consultants associated with hospitals.

Great community resource! Welcoming facility, excellent staff. I called Peel Health first thing Monday morning and got an appointment for 10:30 AM. It wasn't busy when so arrived and they were able to see me after filling in some paperwork. I got an hour with a consultant to answer questions and get reassured on my breastfeeding questions and worries.

I had a really great experience at this clinic. The staff are super friendly and the nurse I spoke to (Naureen) was very informative. She covered all the topics related to baby and breatfeeding and even gave me kind of a summary at the end. I felt a lot more assured and confident that my baby is feeding well and is latching on right.

We have been there a lot of times and all the nurses are extremely knowledgable and very encouraging. Me and my husband have come back satisfied every time. The lactation consultants are very patient and answer all questions in detail. We never had to wait much even with walk in. Really thankful for the facility.

I’ve met two of the lactation consultants/nurses here, both were incredibly nice and encouraging. They’ve reassured me of any concerns I had and answered every question. Thanks to them I am now able to breastfeed with confidence. I wish I could thank them more but for now I’d just like to say they are stupendous individuals, so kind and informative. I am so grateful for them. Thank you to the clinic as well for the support and courtesy.

I came to the clinic multiple times during the first few weeks post partum and each time recieved amazing support from the wonderful health nurses at the clinic. They were knowledgable and reassuring and an absolute amazing resource. We are so lucky to have such a service in Peel region, I cannot sing their praises enough!

They say they are open till 6:30 and that is a lie! Do not believe that especially if you try to go after work. I spent almost 2 hours traveling & tried calling the facility over 20 times within that time and no answer ofcourse (not exaggerating). I get there around 5:30 after all of that and they rejected me ! A whole hour before they close. They may as well say they close at 6. I was so disappointed smh

The actual consultation with the lactation consultant was very informative, but I have spent a minimum of half an hour in the waiting room both times I have visited this clinic, even WITH a scheduled appointment. The appointment was for 1:30, didn't see anybody until after 2 PM. This is way too much time to waste for newborns and their mothers.

An extremely helpful community resource from pregnancy through birth. We completed online modules and attended a prenatal class at the Fairview Clinic, which got us prepared for baby's arrival. Both were very useful, answered a lot of our questions and addressed a lot of our anxieties. After birth, we had a nurse from the clinic visit us at home to answer any questions and concerns. She was so helpful and supportive and exactly what we needed in those first few days at home with baby. When having some breastfeeding difficulties we were able to call for support over the telephone and also go in and visit the next day to get actual hands on help. The nurse was SO helpful and friendly and offered very useful advice that we would have never known without visiting the clinic. This is an incredible, free resource that every parent - first time or otherwise - can really benefit from!

🫤 The restaurant’s ambiance is great, a lot of focus on presentation which is really impressive. However, the food was not worth it at all from drinks/ appetizers to dessert. They really need to improve their taste. For the price point and the main reason I would go to a restaurant (the food) I would...
