This is a fun place on the south side of Madison (really Monona area) that is unique. Good food and decent drink selection. It's an upscale sports bar maybe? However you describe it, definitely worth checking out!

Many draft beer choices as well as wine and liquor. Food was very good. We had the succulent wings and house brined corn beef rueben and recommend them. The Cole slaw was a hit.

First time here for a Sunday brunch and had the very delicious Waypoint Benedict with a mimosa. The brunch potatoes come tossed with a slightly tangy sauce for some added flavor. I am sure you could ask to skip that if you prefer. Outdoor seating was nice but you do hear and see the beltline traffic. On a nice day it is still worth it. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful.

The Eggs Benedict for Sunday morning brunch was excellent. Service was also top notch. Friendly greeting to start, timely service throughout and a smile and a wave goodbye as we left.

SUNDAY BRUNCH, I loved it! Amalia was such a great host at the bar, and is a fabulous bartender. She created some craft drinks for me. She also had the best recommendation for brunch items. Tip of the hat to the wonderful team. The dock made it much easier to get to (by boat) and we didn't have to deal with finding a parking space in the crowded parking lot shared by the residences above. It is very easy to miss the entrance if you aren't looking. Oh, love the brisket nachos as well. Just wish wings would be available more often.

If you want a hardy Midwest meal and drink this is the place for you. For me, the bluegill sandwich, spicy veggie chili and a big WI beer hits the spot. They also have other sandwiches, entrees and salads. Check it out.

Large restaurant with a deck overlooking the water. Not far off the highway. Friendly service, large menu, and tasty entrees. Our waitress answered questions and made suggestions for our group of five. We enjoyed the Cheese Curds and the Hummus Plate as appetizers. The summer salad was FANTASTIC! Fresh, lots of fruit, a good serving size. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees. We chose the place based on the rating and the location for an easy meet-up. We'd definitely return.

Enjoyed sitting on the patio of this Google map find just off the freeway. We both ordered a salad from the good variety they had. Hubby wanted the wings, especially after how Great they looked, but is trying to eat more salad. My Waypoint Power salad was supposed to come with a peanut dressing that I asked to exchange for ranch. Hubby asked for a ranch along with his Southwest Salad. We were surprised to see a charge of.75 per but they took off the charges when we asked. The food was good but the edamame in my salad was wrinkled and hard, not like it's supposed to be. We asked 2 people about it but they were unsure why. Still, overall good food.

I was very impressed with everything about Waypoint. The food was delectable and very pleasantly appealing to the eyes and the view was gorgeous. Thank you for the great, friendly service 😁

This is a seasonal spot for a friend and I. We always meet here after an event. The beer is always changing but it’s always good. Big brand beers are not what this place is about. Always a large craft beer list and I’ve never been disappointed with what I choose. Food is good. This particular trip I had the pepper jack chicken sandwich. My only complaint is the bun should be toasted because the sandwich doesn’t hold together very well. I ended up having to use a fork and knife to finish it. Great sandwich, just falling out all over the place.

Very casual place with simple interior. My dishes of French onion soup and Ceviche did not disappoint. Well made and tasty. The patio is right on the water with ample sitting. Huge bar area wraps around the space.

We went here before we got on the boat, sat outside and ate our food, looked over the water, excellent staff, very friendly staff, and the food was fantastic I definitely recommend this place.

The Waypoint is a regular stop of ours during the summer months when we can sit on their incomparable patio on the water. Everything on the menu is fantastic and you will be pleased with it. We decided to stop in a few weeks ago and have dinner inside, as late fall has arrived and the outdoor patio is closed. We were placed at a table near the bar. Near us was a large table full of obviously overserved patrons who were obnoxiously loud - so much so that we could not have a conversation at our own table. Other patrons were asking to be moved away from these folks. A good manager would have cut these people off, or at least asked them to tone it down. But no effort was made to control them. We ate quickly and left. Probably won't go back until the weather improves enough next year to go back to the outdoor patio. It's fine to have a bar in a restaurant. But if you're going to let people get sloppy drunk and obnoxious, those will be the only people you will attract to your establishment.

We enjoyed fish plates in wonderful sun on the patio today .. entertained by white pelicans. The grilled walleye and salad and fried walleye and sweet potato fries were accompanied by a generous serving of creamy slaw. A Krombacher to wash it down was the touch it called for.

Very calm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was great. We sat outside overlooking the water. They had a lot of kids options though they don’t have a printed kids menu so if you bring young kids along be sure to ask! I’m very much the type to take photos of my plate but I was so excited I forgot! They have a great variety and very reasonably priced. we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We had a party of 4 Friday night. Very noisy inside. The walleye was good. There was an up charge of $3 for sweet potato fries which we were unaware of until the bill arrived. They were not even good. Cole slaw very course. No bread. $21. Not worth it. It was also a long walk from parking for anyone with a disability.

😐 We decided to stop by since I heard it was a great patio. I enjoyed the ambiance and the boats, at first the service was good, host was very kind and got us seated right away. We had the bartender as a server downstairs. It dropped off almost completely after we ordered. We never received any refill...
