A great place to shop but an even better deli with authentic Mexican food for very reasonable prices. It is always packed. Super clean. I love to eat where you can trick yourself into thinking you are traveling.... this is one of those places....You wouldn't find this just traveling through; it is word of mouth for sure.

Great food, I had gotten taco de lengua. My boyfriend got a chorizo burrito and his great aunt a Carne asada burrito, we all loved our food! I had seen reviews of it being a buffet before, but they took it away it seems and it's mostly a restaurant now. I enjoyed it alot, you go up to the cashier at the back of the store where the meat is prepared and order what you want, then they'll call out your number and sit wherever you want. I reccomend purchasing your drinks in the front just to get it out of the way. I miss eating Mexican food, snacks and drinks since moving to Wisconsin, so this really satisfies my craving for it. Will for sure come back for more ❤😄

I have tried over five different items here and can say that you really must go in yourself and try various items as some things are better than others depending on the person from what I've experienced. I really love tamales but it seemed like when I bought the $20 bag that it was mostly the rapping with not much meat whatsoever. The store is really nice and everybody is really nice so I will keep going there but I will probably not get the tamales again. Nana in there sometimes she's awesome

Cute little local Mexican market with a taqueria inside. The tacos are great, simple and delicious. There’s also a selection of basic grocery items and Mexican products, as well as a sizable meat counter. Selection is good and prices are reasonable for its size.

Today was my first time ordering their food. There will be a second time for sure. I got a burrito and a taco that was excellent. Super happy with the portions that were givin for the price.

Picked up some marinated pork and chicken to grill off and make tacos. Man was this a good choice. You can't beat the authentic food and flavors this place has to offer. Very friendly staff makes you feel welcome!

I love this place. And I’m so glad I live four blocks from it. They have the best produce and meat send it’s just a fun place to shop. I always order the Asada taco which is amazing. And my hubby always gets the chicken burrito. If you haven’t been here, make sure you stop by on Monona Drive right off of Proced Woods.

While the food was authentic and service was good, atmosphere is just alright as it's inside a grocery store. The price was definitely right at $2.50 a taco.

I'm so impressed by the selection and quality here. The meat prices are fantastic. The produce has looked fresh each time I've come. The best part is the to go window at the back that serves HUGE burritos and tacos for a great price. The burrito is $6.50! Everyone has been welcoming to me when I order and check out.

La Rosita is a small Hispanic grocery store with a taco stand inside. If you're in the mood for an authentic and delicious taco without frills or unusual flavors (ahem, bartaco), this is your spot. It's a little out of the way from downtown Madison, but worth the drive. My hot tip is to call ahead to verify the taco stand hours if you're just going for that, as the taqueria hours differ from the general store hours.

Nothing quite hits like a grocery store taco. This place has everything from fresh foods to packaged foods, and a meat counter. Lots of Mexican staples you don't see elsewhere. The tacos were freshly prepared and delicious. Will return - back again for gorditas and they are still crispy and delicious

Like the store but feel like the restaurant side has gone downhill. Used to especially love the chicken tortas and chili rellenos tacos. Still adore the avocado salsa and go there for select items. But the other disappointment is great with the other stuff. Do appreciate the staff though.

Best Al Pastor tacos I've had in the Midwest. After living in SoCal for a while it has been lame trying to find comparable tacos around here. I finally have, though! The Al Pastor marinade flavor is perfect and the salsas are excellent. The only feedback I'd give is that it would make the tacos even better if the meat was roasted on a vertical spit.
