Excellent in 1 word. All experiences are personal. Neat place. Younger generation staff members. A bit of a pain in unending blood samples. Lots of goodwill required in longer stays. Food OK not exactly haute cuisine!.noblesse oblige as required by medical requirements! Just be content that you are in good hands!

My 83 years mother had a stroke and 2 blood clots in the head and in the leg. All together very critical life condition. She had a perfect medical and supportive care. The room was excellent. The food wasn't so healthy but we prepared at home a healthier one that the staff was glad to serve it.

I was brought to CHUM by ambulance after a fall. While I am not fluent in French, I am able to carry on a conversation. The administrative and nursing staff were efficient and friendly, and my Doctor explaned my injuries clearly. I had minor surgery to correct the problem and was able to go home. Other than a long wait for X-rays this was a good experience.

Basic treatment & care ok. Need to coordinate doctors better. If not going to show up when they said they wood. Have a back up doctor to work. We waited 3 days for cardiologist to show up. We needed him to do discharge. Finally he called to discharge & another doctor filled out paperwork. Assume Cardiologist took holiday off & left us hanging. Had to change rooms at hotel everything booked because of Canada holiday. Paid for TV in room & worked for couple hours then whole hospital no TV couldn't get any help because they closed for holiday.

My father in law received the best care here. It is clean, bright, organized and such a positive space. All the staff treated us well and helped for a fast and positive recovery.

6 hours until this moment without being seen. Only two doctors for the emergency department tonight. The workers here do not reciprocate any respect.

Apparently open 24hrs a day. I came here on the weekend, looking for an unusual, yet necessary service. And wasn't sure if the hospital was vacant for any good reason. I had to find a security guard in a booth to find out where I can get information about the desired service. After going to the emergency room, I picked a number after a patient directed me to the electronic number dispenser. It was facing the interior of the room, as opposed to the entrance itself, so it was easy to not notice. After looking around, I realized that there is no indication of where to sit, and there is no digital screen to indicate who is next, or where to go. It After I finally found someone, I was greeted by someone who could not tell me where to go for the needed service, without paying. I give this facility 2 stars based on poor reception, lack of service, lack of communication, and waste of tax dollars. Although the people I did deal with were very friendly.

Clean hospital and the staff are excellent. Only complaint was my surgery was scheduled for 8:30 and it was 10:30 before anyone gave us any information .

I saw a very good ophtalmologist. But the hospital is confusing. It's new so I expected a better, more contemporary and patient friendly layout.
