Something Different!! Perfect Family exercise!! You have 3 choices of water paddling boat of either a Yellow Duck, White Swan, and a regular boat. Each boat seats a Maximum of 4 people. The regular boat is alot easier to paddle and manuever compared to the bigger ones. The water is stagnant so I don't recommend anyone falling in. The water is frequented by birds and ducks. It is a walking distance from the Dennis the Menace Park and the Beach. You only pay around $60 to rent the boat and not as individual. So if you have one or four in your party, you pay the same. Floatation/Life Vest will be provided to all passengers. There is no engine or motor installed on the boat and everything else is Pedal Powered and turned using a rudder. It is a must have event to add to your Vacation.

Great park! Be sure to take a ride on the paddle boats. The big ones aren't great in the wind so they don't let you rent them when it's especially windy (ducks, swans, dragon)

Sizeable Park with boating and the kids favorite Dennis the Menace playground. Conveniently located near Del Monte Beach and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterrey.

One of the scenic parks in Monterey. The view of the lake at this park is spectacular. With it being very close to the ocean, it really makes sitting there a very relaxing experience. It always feels like spring at this park. The playground is great for kids while the parents can enjoy the view of the lake and the nearby ocean.

This is a great park for kids. Clean and lots to do. It overlooks a skate park where older ones could go while the littles play at the park. The park is a bit spread out so you will probably want to follow your little ones and slightly older ones around as not to lose them.😃

The Dennis the playground in Montgomery, CA the children love it. Small children enjoy the concrete boat with sea creatures as well as the many slides, three jungle gyms and climbing toys. There's a sky floating bridge and two very large slides. The teens can enjoy the skate park side of the park. There are public restrooms and a snack shack.

El Estero Park in Monterey is a hidden oasis of tranquility within the city. The park's serene lake, surrounded by lush greenery, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Strolling along the walking paths or renting a paddleboat to glide across the water is a wonderful way to unwind. The park also features a playground for kids, making it a great spot for families. Its central location near downtown Monterey makes it easily accessible, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect place for a leisurely afternoon or a quiet picnic.

I thought this place was called Dennis the Menace Park. It opened back up just before I came to Monterey on a visit. My kid loved it...there was so much to do! It was really busy but everyone was wearing masks and having a good time. It was nice!

Very cute park with picnic tables, boat rentals, and a skate park. I'm not sure what usual rates are for renting paddle boats, but these seemed pretty overpriced. The cheapest option to rent for one half-hour is $23. It did not seem worth it to us, especially since it was about to rain.

Lots of great activities for the kids.. both big and small. The slides, the draw bridge and all the swings make a great place to burn off energies. It is right next to a pond where you can do paddle boats too. The parking lot is pretty big

I first came here in the 80's and my family always called it Charlie Brown Park. It's an amazing park! Worth a visit of you're in the area. Tons of space and lots play areas. If you got 2+ year olds, they will have a blast.

I have loved this place since i was a kid...all of my kiddos have had their own awesome memories here. Our youngest now 7 is the last of the kiddos but the one who gets to come every week. His older siblings are all grown up.

Best park in town to take your little ones to! Definitely recommend to any parent whose trying to find a safe, fun park to take their kids to. The only downfall is how hard it is to find parking sometimes but other than that I have nothing else bad to say about it

Honestly, I think this is one of the best park and playground in monterey. A grande size of parks for kids and pedal boating in lake is a must to do!
