So far, so good! I've just checked in, but I can say service is very good and the people in the front desk are very helpful. I'd say 4.5, not 5 stars. Why? Well, I believe there is always room for improvement... the gym, for example, could use a revamp... Other than that, the location is very good (near the Costal Protection, so a good place to run) and near a shopping mall!

Everything is good but there is no electric kettle in the room. The staff didn't know English. And far from historical places. It is near the beach, the breakfast is fantastic. If you want to visit montevideo it's better be near plaza independencia

Exactly the right distance away from everything but close enough to walk to almost anywhere. Very close to transit, the beach is immediate and there are plenty of restaurants and shops closeby.

I saved a significant amount of money by staying at this hotel rather than one near the airport and the taxi ride was only US$32. The hotel has a rooftop pool, a seating area with plush cushions, and a small gym. I spent the afternoon taking a swim and sunning myself after checking in shortly after 2 pm. The hotel is in a great neighborhood and not too far from a large shopping mall and grocery store. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient and ordered a taxi for me that arrived shortly afterwards.

For two weeks we had exactly the same breakfast - even the order on the tables was the same. I will not mention that couple of time they served old tomatoes (which are the only fresh veggie served). But today they exaggerated - breakfast are from 7 to 11 and at 9 we asked for bread because there was none - and the response was they run out of it so we need to manage with something else. SERIOUSLY? 4* Hotel? you don’t even have a kettle in a room, and the contact was falling out of the wall. Definitely will choose another hotel next month for my stay - you’re not worth it 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The heater in the room did not work. No hot water heater for tea. Nice walk on the nearby beach and public jogging sidewalk. Close to shopping and places to eat.

As like many of us, I’ve been working remotely for the past year. With winter approaching in the North East, I decided to travel back to my home country and spend the summer months working remotely, while visiting family.. A good friend of mine, recommend the After hotel as I was looking for an affordable, but nice place to stay for a full month. From the start, the staff was very accommodating to my requests around what I needed in terms of accommodations, like a fridge, a work station in my room, etc The hotel is just one block away from “la rambla” which is a great area to run and exercise during the summer months and also very close to shops and restaurants in the city. In addition, it has a pool and a gym that opens up to a fantastic terrace where you can hangout and enjoy a great view of el “puerto del Buceo”. During my stay there, the staff made sure that I was comfortable and taken care of, while at the same time maintaining all the safety guidelines required due to COVID. The employees are friendly, attentive and always ready to help not only me, but other guests as well. I will highly recommend this place to stay and please say hi to the guys from me if you go!

The view from the hotel is really nice. Just next to the beach. The food variety is not so much but they provide neat and tidy area to dine in and enjoy.

One of the top and best hotels in Montevideo Uruguay. However, they lack few things like no variety in breakfast menu, same things are there every day. Even though kitchen menu is also same for everyday. They don't provide kettle as well in the rooms.

The location is great - just in walking distance from Rambla and the port. Although Rambla won't be viewable from the hotel rooms itself, specially if you are staying on the lower floor. Rooms are clean and amenities are there, the only serve breakfast though, so mark your dinner and lunch spots. The staff is courteous and helpful.
