Awful service - this hotel is not worthy of even 1 star. Their staff are not trained properly and ruined our stay in Montevideo, don’t waste your money here there are plenty of better and cheaper hotels available. 1) The hotel lost our booking and blamed it on us, making us wait 30 mins at reception at 10pm at night for our room 2) The window in our room was broken, we informed them in the morning and when we came back to the hotel that evening we were informed we couldn’t open the window and it was slightly fixed but they would fix it tomorrow (no offer of compensation or apology) 3. The reception staff repeatedly ignored our phone calls when we were trying to clarify the room bill (I called at 15 min intervals for 1 hour so it was obvious they weren’t picking up our room) - never in all the hotels I have stayed at around the world have reception staff repeatedly ignored a room call, it is the worst service possible 4. They tried to charge us more than was originally agreed for our room at checkout and nearly made us miss our flight I have stayed in hotels all across South America and this was the worst service I have ever received - do yourself a favour and save the headache of the poorly trained staff and book another hotel.

Excellent location, with amazing view! Staff are friendly. You are able to get free bikes for ride nearby. Breakfast are also very good!

Cala de Volpi is a five star experience. As an American living in Uruguay I definitely recommend this holel to anyone visiting. The service was excellent, everything from the check in, room cleanliness and the breakfast buffet was incredible, more than a buffet. On top of that we had a couple of special needs that were handled immediately. Our stay far exceeded my expectations.

Very nice hotel in Montevideo’s promenade. Zone is very quiet and safe, and near to great restaurants and shopping malls. Walking on the promenade is awesome! The hotel itself has great installations and service. Breakfast is truly exceptional! Very good experience in Montevideo! Thank you!

Perfect location close to shopping, restaurants and on front of beach. Nice rooms with internet that work. One of best place for tea time in Montevideo. Very small parking (maybe 2 or 3 cars only), but you park on front the hotel entrance.

Alwais ready to help, clean and good Internet, also in front space for running.

I've stayed here twice and would stay again if I'm ever in Montevideo again.

The hotel itself is fine, rooms are comfy (Despite our window being broken) and generally it is fine. However, the service of the hotel staff is severely lacking which for us made the stay really rather stressful and ruined the experience. A 4-star hotel requires a good level of service and this one certainly doesn't deliver that!

this is the worst hotel ever! you charged us 360$ more for a stay and don’t let us check out earlier because we HATE BEING HERE! Customer service is poor and ignorant! You use booking as a excuse for your money scam! We contacted booking and they support our stand… LET US CHECK OUT!!!!! ps. rooms are old, door to bathroom doesn’t close at all. don’t waste your money because for this price you can stay in other hotel!! we stayed in some other hotels previously and never had such a bad experience!!!!!!!

They charged us to have a room with a big bed instead of 2 singles. The room was half the size but somehow more expensive very weird. But service was overall good
