I can not believe what happened. I have had the most uncomfortable situation ever. After realizing my room was clearly DIRTY and had USED AMENITIES I go to the reception and explain the situation. The receptionist says the room will be cleaned while I’m away (as I have agreed with that). I come back to see the same dirty room. Everything escalated when ERNESTO (the receptionist) talks to me in the most rude and indifferent way possible. He tells me it’s not his problem and asks me if I want him to close the entrance doors and let people out of the hotel for him to come help me clean my room as he is alone on this shift. He gives me attitude for complaining for a room that is dirty. After a long conversation, raising voices and dealing with his unbelievable sass the conclusion is he will move me and my partner to another room. We move to a much smaller and non soundproof room. We find more hairs and dust… we are talking to the manager tomorrow… I’ve never been treated so unfairly by anybody. So unprofessional and rude, I can’t believe this is coming from a receptionist. I’ve been a receptionist myself for years… * turns out that his name is SEBASTIAN and that he told me he was called Ernesto FINALLY - The manager did not show up, we talked through the phone. He apologized and asked me to send an email. I don’t think he took this matter seriously. We had to pay half of the price of our room… this is unbelievable!

I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was enough to understand this is bad hotel. The rooms was not ready on check in time and the hotel refuse to give late check out. Also finally when the rooms where ready there was no toilet paper and towels. The bathroom was not cleaned (the walls with molds) and behind our room 305 was the engines of the air conditioning so it was hard to sleep. Not recommend about this place. All my complained to the hotel reception was answered with "we can't help you"

I was happy to stay here. The service was good and they looked after any issue that I had. The location was good and near all downtown venues. The breakfast was ample with a reasonable selection. One thing I would not recommend is having a coffee at the coffee bar. It is sub par and totally overpriced. On the whole I would stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel has a wonderful location, close to all major attractions of Montevideo and to public transportation. The double room is very clean, cozy and has more than enough space for a couple. The breakfast buffet is great. Wifi is a little bit untrustworthy.

Great Hotel. Rooms are really big, service is great and the breakfast is incredible. Wifi works most of the time, but slows down from time to time.

Very nice hotel, not too expensive, spacious rooms in an excellent location. Breakfast is varied and very good, and the lobby looks modern and comfortable. My first impression of the reception staff was not very good, they seemed distant and not very willing to help. The next time I went they recognised me and seemed friendlier, but they still need to smile a bit more...
