A very lovely place with an easy access by U-bahn or tram. The personal is friendly and will serve you with a big smile. The food is also very delicious, there is enough variety for everyone's tastes and even the drinks are quite good. We'll definitely come back here!

The place only accepts payment card a over 50 euros, which is unbelievable nowadays. It's very small, if you want to go, it's better do a reservation... The Hamburger is fine and the prices are more on the expensive side, from 15-20 euros a hamburger. You can also choose small ones with 150g or 230g.

Great burger 🍔 place! I would recommend you to try this place! The meat was so tender and the the bun also soft. The sauce was perfect. Mine was with fried onion so it was a bit crunchy as well. As side you can also get homemade salad and potato fried. Overall I love the combination, melted in your mouth with some crunch. The price also okay, one thing that you can only pay by card with minimum 50€. The waiter also very humble and did his job. Thanks! In addition they have also bunch range of drinks like in the bar. From alcoholic to soda. So nice place to hangout as well. One thing again, eventho the place so small but the toilet is very clean. Love it!

Lovely little burger place with great (unique) burgers, atmosphere, and service.

The place is small enough to feel cozy and intimate (make a reservation). Cocktail list is traditional and yet surprising. Burgers might be a little bit more expensive than in other places, but definitely worth the price!!! The bread is soft and tasty, burgers are cooked just right and of prime quality, sauces taste great, and you can even feel the crunch of the fresh lettuce. Overall super positive!

Cosy little place suitable for a night-out. Had a sensationally tasty burger ('Honolulu'). The bun and patty are incredibly fresh and premium quality. It's great to see the cook prepare the food. Their display of the drinks is great and they have a wonderful selection of standard drinks & cocktails (didn't get to try a cockta though). They serve their burgers with these amazing thyme potatoes topped with a delicious quark sauce. I would definitely return to try another burger and the cocktails. Thanks for the friendly service!

We loved our time in Munich and this restaurant was a highlight! We shared the cheeseburger---so yummy! There was a side of potatoes with this scrumptious ranch sauce. Then dessert! This exquisite chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream! Just a perfect meal. Thank you!

Typical Beyond Burger (?) vegan option, nothing special but I specifically liked the bun that gets one more star 🌟 though when someone orders vegan burger it doesn't make sense to bring potatoes with yoghurt dressing ☹️ or they should ask the least. One thing that stood out for me as negative is that they didn't ask for the doneness of the burger and one assumes that would be well done, but to our surprise the burgers came as medium perhaps even a little towards medium rare. If you go there be aware of that. Service was quick and staff were friendly but nothing special.

The hamburgers were outstanding and desserts even better. My only comment would be to add an english menu. It was difficult to understand the menu, since we don’t speak german, but the waitress was very helpful. If you want to eat a good burger in Munich, this is the place to go.

A tiny little bar selling burgers and serving drinks. Great selection of gins and quality whiskey. Friendly barman and the 'Lava Lamp' shot is a delight... Try one, or two!!

Good burgers. Good sauce and fresh toppings. Drinks were very good. Full bar and knowledgeable at making cocktails. Service was fast and efficient, albeit not super friendly. Burgers were all a bit overcooked for our tastes (med well - no pink), and the fried egg was also pretty well cooked. The jalapeños didn't seem very spicy either, but we are accustomed to spice, so... We were not asked how we wanted our burgers cooked, and I did not think to mention it. Perhaps a language barrier? For some reason, there were a bunch of bugs flying around during meal. We had not noticed any in prior 3 days in Munich. Just hatched? Didn't help the overall experience.

If you like extraordinary, small and authentic restaurants then CA-BA-LU is the perfect place to have a burger and a cocktail in Munich. It‘s an amazing spot that offers excellent food, drinks and a very special atmosphere!

We came to taste delicious burgers and the local beer. Reasonable prices for big portions. It’s a small place so it can be crowded in the evenings.

This is a cool little bar with a big impact. The burgers are great and the cocktails on par with other big established cocktail bars in Munich. Fun cosy vibe. Definitely a place to go for a date or small group, or if you just crave a burger and a cocktail.

Surprisingly average. Our meat was very dense, almost chewy. I also missed that beefy flavor that characterizes excellent, fresh ground beef. I'm sure the owner wants it this way, but I prefer my patties with an obvious ground beef texture. I thought the BBQ sauce wasn't smokey enough. The rosemary potatoes were... Soft and the cream on top was... Cheesy? Great location right off the Lehel U-Bahn station, very cozy seating inside and out. Attentive and friendly service. I'll be back if I'm in the area, but won't go out of my way to eat here. Sorry!

Really good burgers, nice variety of both burgers and drinks. The owner wouldn't accept card payment (cash only) which is highly inconvenient and not customer friendly hence the one notch downgrade. Otherwise, 4/5 for good burgers and the cozy atmosphere.

It is a very pleasant burger restaurant. Beer is perfect too. Owner serves music of rock N roll,that is an important aspect nowadays, in this disgusting e-like- music culture. One weak point: under 50 €, only cash is accepted. I kindly ask owner this is allowed?
