Had a good Zwiebelrostbraten and my friends were satisfied with the Haxe. I would say this is a solid upper-mid option for Bavarian food + beer. A tiny bit outside of the center so it was not overcrowded, but still all booked out on an Oktoberfest weekday evening. Pretty cute and cozy insides. Would visit again if the occasion demands (occasion being out of town visitors looking for a Haxe experience).

I had lunch here with my friends as it was near my friend's workplace. I had the veal patty with potatoes and a white asparagus soup. The food was great and the company even better! The wait staff was efficient and the meals were brought out quickly as were the drinks. This place is supposedly one of oldest bars in Munich.

Stopped here due to a recommendation from a local who found us wandering around. She sent us here, and it was everything we could have asked for. Our server, Daisey, was friendly and fun and was able to speak great English. The owner stopped by and greeted us and talked for a few minutes and was great to us. Fellow patrons were friendly and eager to chat us and made us feel at home. Highly recommend this to lost tourists or anyone looking for a drink and some good food.

Very nice staff. The food is delicious. It's pricy though. The atmosphere is charming, even if there are a lot of people talking, but that's party of the Pub ambiance.

Delicious food! I enjoyed the Munich style schnitzel immensely (coated with sweet mustard, the. Breaded and fried, then coated with fresh horseradish). Enjoyed watching the chef take charge at the pass as well. This place also has amazing ambience.

Absolutely fantastic!!! The best traditional Bavarian food in town! We had a wonderful lunch here. Chris the waiter was fantastic - he was so polite and really accommodating to allow us a seat when the restaurant was full (reserved tables and all). He also recommended a wonderful dish - 10/10 would highly recommend. See photos attached! Can’t wait to come back to this place!

I was there on 08.05.22 (Sunday evening) to get dinner. They gave me a table pretty fast and the service was rather expedite. I just think the size of the “big” Schnitzel was a bit small for the price. I’ve eaten bigger and equally delicious Schnitzel at Andy’s (Sendlinger Tor) for half the price. But all in all, it was a good dinner experience.

They stop serving food at 9:30 pm, but they still accommodated us when we arrived a few minutes before. The pork knuckle, potato dumplings, and sauerkraut were all just amazing.

I had penne with meatballs from business lunch menu, the portion was huge, and was super tasty. We enjoyed the weather on the terrace outside.

Görreshof is one of the places to go for proper Bavarian cuisine. Of course the array of choices in Munich is huge, but this is your choice if you want to be between locals and eat a cuisine that adds a special touch to classic dishes. For instance, the desert for kaiserschmarrn had almonds with it and was extra caramelised, which gave it an extra crunchy texture - really great. Haven’t had it as good for a while. The Backhendl Salat was very nice with the pumpkinseed oil with it, giving it a nice Austrian twist. The Kasspatzn delivered, even in a hot summer day. Can get pricey yet the quality is definitely there.

Great for tourists to get an authentic German experience. We had the wirsthausgoulasch and the pork knuckle, which were amazing and typical German portions (big!). Staff were friendly with a shot at the end of the night. Food and drink served quickly but really great quality. Easy to get to on the U or S. Best place we ate when we were in Munich.

Loved this restaurant! Intentionally went here for our first dinner in Munich and we grabbed a seat at the bar. The service was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. We loved the atmosphere, but the food stole the show! We ordered cheesy spatzle, Mountain schnitzel, and the Apple strudel along with some drinks. The meal was delicious and we were stuffed—large portions! Our last night in Munich we were on the way to a Redbull München hockey game and we walked by this place, hungry, and thought it looked cute so we should go in for lunch. We walked in and realized it’s the same restaurant we already ate in…but instead of going somewhere else, we did what we never do on vacation and ate at the same restaurant twice! The pork knuckle and brats were SO tasty! Fun place and I’d go again!

At Görreshof you get excellent food with a nice service. I was there several times and the food was always excellent. Make sure to book a table as it can get very busy.

We came here for lunch. Very nice traditional German style interior. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was really good. Beer was also nice. Prices are okay. Location is very central. Would come back again and try other dishes.

The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious, affordable and the portions generous. I am glad I came across this place which is far from being a tourist trap. Totally recommend it! 👌

The service was great and it may have been traditional German food but wasn't the most appetizing. It was all very heavy with interesting flavors. The steak tasted very much like it was made with wine but not simmered down. One thing that was good was a cheese appetizer with bread but it was the only thing we all agreed on being good

wondeful place to enjoy Bavarian cusine. Tasty & price/performance really great! lack of music tho, we would love to hear some traditional music in background to enjoy a bit more but maybe it was just this evening. Better to make a reservation before.

One of the best experiences in Munich: a typical Bavarian restaurant with a nice garden outside. The Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) and the Zwiebelrostbraten (steak with onions, Spätzle and a delicious sauce) are not tò be missed. The Augustiner beer is superb and the service too.

Overall a good experience! Nice atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices. It was a Thursday night and very crowd, we waited some time to become a table, so my advice is to book a table. It was very noisy too but the quality and service it‘s the most important and because of this they deserve 5 stars.

The service was exceptional! The food was done extremely well and don't forget to order the kaiserschmarrn. The interior was decorated with cute decorations for the Christmas season, but still kept its traditional German vibe. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. There's a varied lunch menu and à la carte options. The food is quite good and the portions aren't too big.

Nice and tasty german dishes. The size of them is quite impressive for the price. The location makes it even better as it can literally be the first place to go to when stopping in the train station. The atmosphere is as German as it can be! I recommend the Jäger Spätzle

Delicious German meals in Munich. Highly recommend the beer garden. Kind staff and excellent waitering even to tourists. Recommend the snitzel and German sauce dishes (has fennel seeds for those that don’t like this) with the cheese spätzle. Must come with the beers 🍻

Very good German food for relatively good price (for München):) Käsespätzle has a very cheesy taste and creamy texture. Schweinebraten is soft and juicy. Highly recommend.

We went other last week, 05/04/2021. It was an enjoyable evening, the service was always bice, they speak English and have an English menu(ask for that). We ended up taking a Cheese Spätzle and a RostZwiebeln Stake. They were both very delicious and you can choose if you want the stake cooked, medium, or rare. It was a very food experience overall.

If you’re looking for traditional Bavarian food, I recommend going here. They have everything from classic beers, to meats such as Haxm (pig leg) and a schnitzel, to kaiser schmarren (sweet pancakes)

Lovely place to be in München, we were lucky to not find many tourists and staff was really nice towards us. Meat was very good for a french as me, special mention for the sauce that was divine. Would love to get here again

Great authentic German food and beer. Wienerschnitzel is delicious. The bayerische brotplate was really good as well. Big enough to share. Can only recommend.

The “Baked pork knuckle” is kind of salty to me.. yet the salad is quite okay.. price wise €15.9.. moderate pricing

HUGE portions of food, great selection of beer In a tavern/pub style. This is a great place for those wanting to try some southern German food. The menu is small but offers the most traditional dishes, Including the famous Bavarian white sausage with sweet mustard. (Served until 3:00. P.m. ). This place is great! If you're looking for a pub or a tavern style meal where you can sit at the bar, or stand up near by the bar. Have a great class of beer and eat a snack. They do offer a sit down service where you have to call in and book ahead of time - it's a simple tavern style ambience with the occasional smoke smell when folks enter. If this is okay with you, I would highly encourage you to come here, sit down and have a meal . The staff it's hands down, super friendly, and they're willing to go to extra mile to help you have an excellent meal. They even have a menu in english for us. Silly foreigners who can speak German. This is a short walk from the subway, you can be there in less than 5 minutes, so I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy a huge glass of beer.
