Have been living here for so many months and I am DREADING to move out if it weren’t for the over $3,000 penalty of breaking the lease. I’m in SHOCK by how rude the office is. When I first signed a lease here, I had a horrible experience with Nathaniel. He was one of the meanest people ever, he stated he was going to ask if we can get a move in promotion ONE day sooner than the last day of the promotion day and then never got back to me. He would literally LAUGH at my face. He never ended up asking about the promotion and brings it up to the manager, Joanna after I emailed him so many times. She ends up walking up to me and humiliating me in front of everyone there, basically saying to my face that it is “not going to happen. It is out of my hands.” She is so unhelpful. Before I signed my lease, I received an email stating i was going to have a built in entertainment center and I never got it. My apartment literally has the layout for it and I guess it was forgotten to be built in? Before my move in day had to be extended, I called the office because I didn’t get the move in promotion and because I also had already had my rental van and everything ready and I got charged a fee at Uhaul for having to reschedule to another day last minute. I was told one day prior that my move in day had to be extended. When on the phone with the office, Danielle, stated she was going to give me a $200 amazon gift card towards the promotion and for the uhaul issue. They ended up giving me this ALSO because I was promised an entertainment center and never got it which saved them probably way over 100’s of dollars trying to build it into my apartment. The week I move in, I had no furniture or nothing just my bed and I was waiting on my new camera to be delivered. That same week, my wallet gets stolen at my apartment. Went to the office about it and the office did nothing to help me just tell me that “they would never do such a thing.” Before signing my lease, I was never told that my storage unit was going to be turned into ANOTHER utility closet. Now I have nowhere to put my storage and I am left with one super dirty utility closet full of roaches and another utility closet outside in my patio. Signed up for a floor plan with a storage unit and now nothing. Sent 3 emails about it, never got an answer. Finally went to the office manager & assistant manager, Danielle and Joanna, having to leave work early, and when I asked for them to bring my rent down towards not having a storage unit anymore they LAUGHED in my face and kept going against every single thing I would say. Management is horrible. If I could give a 0 star I would because not even corporate answers their phones or answers back emails. I want to move out of here so bad I am waiting for April DREADFULLY. Management doesn’t try to work with you, it really sucks. Instead when I said it was unfair what was happening to me, Joanna said “Honey, life isn’t fair.” Then laughs with Danielle. They will belittle you and make you feel humiliated. Hope I can leave out of here with no penalty breaking the lease but it’s impossible. The roach issue is a nightmare. Only best part about this place is maintenance, they will actually come if needed and they are very punctual but otherwise the office and company are horrible.

What other renters have said about roach infestation is true. No pest control is happening in the units themselves, only exterior. They will never get a handle on it without spraying the units. The unit is infested even after spraying regularly on our own. Also, they came into the apartment and removed an old water heater and moved it to the laundry closet. They have never been back to fix where they removed the old one. Its an eyesore of a hole in the floor. Then they came and cut a hole into the ceiling and didn't return for a month after repeated requests. Finally they inserted a silver electrical box. They still haven't painted the ceiling. The entire unit is in disrepair, do not rent here. Even for the renovated units better pricing can be had elsewhere these days. DO NOT RENT HERE!

Worst place to live at. I was paying over $1900 a month living here, and in the middle of the night my bathroom ceiling randomly caved in. The ENTIRE ceiling. I told management and they showed little to no care in my situation, even though I explained how unacceptable it is to be paying such high rent for a place that isn't even maintained. I never even got someone in to fix it. Maintenance is terrible, and when they FINALLY came a month later I had already decided to pay the severance fee to get the h3ll out of there. Management is rude, but will pretend to be nice to you while showing you an apartment. Once you actually RENT that apartment, they become awful-temperaments people who stare at you like you're rotten meat the second you walk into their office to ask for help. If you move in here and anything breaks, good luck getting it fixed for months. I also lived almost a month without a washer and dryer because I couldn't get someone in my unit to fix it, no matter how many times I spoke to maintenance. If they did come at my request, they never fixed the issue. I had to pay someone who doesn't even work on the property to come fix my washer and dryer due to maintenance's and management's neglect. Roaches are also EVERYWHERE. No matter how clean you are, roaches will find their way into your apartment - on the walls, floors, ect. Management took no care to have this place ready before I was moved in. There were random SHARP nails halfway into the wall that no one bothered to remove, that actually hurt me when I moved in. Last but not least -- to top it ALL, in the middle of the summer my AC broke and management has an emergency line for this due to Florida's extreme summer heat. I called and called and called them because it was literally 85 in my apartment at one point and I was overheating. I left voicemails, I went to the office personally to tell them, nothing. I had to LEAVE me apartment to get a hotel for the night to have AC because the heat was making me so sick, and NOTHING was done until I had an older family member come into the office with me to address the issue, who they took more seriously than me. If you are a young renter, DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. The property is very pretty yes, but that's where they get you. Each and every apartment is outdated, and read the rest of the reviews to see how EVERYONE who lives here seems to have a miserable experience. Management tries to bribe you with money if you leave a positive review or take pictures around the complex. Is it worth it for the misery you're about to pay for each month? NO! GO ELSEWHERE!

This place is disgusting roaches everywhere no matter how much you clean. They constantly turn the main water lines off for repairs. The price is not worth the headaches ! You pay for pest control but pest control only sprays the parking lot and grass. The dog park is FULL of fleas one visit and my dog was covered in them DO NOT MOVE here I have friends who've lived here 3+ years and they have had the same complaints since day 1 this place doesn't care that you pay almost 2500 a month. The lawn care guys dont care about your care they'll cut the grass and leave your car covered in grass trimmings. The maintenance staff is friendly and respectful but will enter your unit sometimes without warning. Since we moved here I had to take off work so they can come and replace the water heater and the complete AC unit leaving random holes so the roach infestation can spread . SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT MOVE HERE

Had an utterly nightmarish experience with roaches in this apartment. Over the past few months, we’ve woken up to 2-3 roaches in our bathroom a day, after plugging drains, thoroughly cleaning surfaces, and minimizing any hiding places for critters. Just tonight, I got up to get water and found 4 full-grown roaches crawling on the ceiling and in our bedroom. The building maintenance is wonderful, but the pest killing service is practically non existent. This has led to our apartment becoming a place of paranoia, and essentially an unseen health hazard.

The first apartment given by a manager no longer working there was no good, but every complaint given was addressed right away with good service and with good customer service. Danielle and Johanna were so nice, understanding and helpful to get me out of the apartment and into a better one. They addressed everything right away and with ease. Definitely looking forward to another year with Lofton

I enjoy living here. If I didn't I would not be going on my 7th year here. The pool area is up-to-date and looks lovely. They have also just updated the water heater and A/C.

Lived here for 2 years and am very shocked of any negative reviews! I've never had any bug issues in my time here at Lofton Place, and seeing these reviews makes me question the cleanliness of my neighbors. The office and maintenance staff has never been anything but PHENOMENAL (with the exception of a girl who is no longer there. I think Stefanie was her name) Johanna and Danielle have always been so nice to chat with and answer any questions or concerns. The location is also perfect and I'm not far from anything! Grocery shopping is feet away. Lofton Place is a great community and I will be renewing in January!

The facility was very welcoming and the attention provided was excellent. Very pleased with all the information provided.
