In the central mumbai this is a very budget friendly hotel. Rooms are so clean and well maintained. You can go to anywhere it just a couple of minutes from here , for marine drive it hardly took 10 min from here so that is so amazing.

Neat and Clean hotel, Good location, Great service, friendly and helpful staff,simple breakfast menu but very tasty. Only drawback is that the hotel is on the first floor upwards but there is no lift. The room that we stayed in was quite small,with very little space to move around and a very small bathroom , but the cleanliness and good service made up for it.

Positive- Location of hotel is good, near to Mumbai Central, Marine drive and Gateway of India. Room is neat and clean and also staffs are polite and good. Nearby restaurants and shops are available. Negative- Rooms are small. Prices are on higher side for both rooms and food. Food service should be faster, it takes more than 1 hour to serve. Lastly, there is no lift service.

stayed there for two days, clean, calm, nice rooms. Staff is nice, well behaved, they have in house kitchen, most of our routine menu is available. Best thing is terrace, nice garden on terrace with the views of Mumbai sky line to enjoy. Recommended for stay.

Good budget hotel in the prime location. Hotel is neat and clean. Staff are cooperative, service is prompt. They do have in-house kitchen, good for finger foods and snacks, not sure about the main course as I haven't order. I stayed here for 1 night with family. Overall good experience. If you are looking to stay in the prime location and need easy access to all the nearby localities then this should be the good choice. Go for it without looking at somewhere else. Hotel does not have it's own parking, so if you are coming by own car then you have to look for the nearby paid parking spot. Suggestions to Hotel management-- As the parking is the problem here, keep the valet parking service, even if it's paid that is still okay, It would just enhance the customer satisfaction. Because to find the parking space is challenging here as most of the traveller come here from outside Mumbai and they don't have any idea about the location and the area.

Rooms are big free with clean .location,all hotel services also good I mean to say Hotel is very relaxing and fresh feels for everyone.

Convenient location for mumbai central railway station approach, cooperative staff, clean rooms, family people's choice, don't expect property in luxurious segment, no parking for taxi.

We were a couple and stayed for one night. The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance from Girgaon chowpatty and Mumbai Central station. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Service was very good. The wifi connection was not that good but you can ask them to restart it. They also can assist you with the Mumbai darshan trip and they are ready to help with anything you want. I would surely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast and coffee price is too high but the food tastes decent. Basic requirements like water bottles or any packet food can be bought in the shop right next to the hotel. The location of the hotel facilitates any form of commute and that is the best thing. There are good and reasonably priced restaurants nearby and one can have multiple online deliveries of food from nearby hotels too. One suggestion is to give the kettle to heat water especially if there are elderly accompanied. There is no lift service!

The hotel was very clean with elegant victorian hallways. Although i am a hardcore non vegetarian but the veg food in hotel kumkum is delicious. The rooms are small and clean but the money is for location.

An average hotel nearby Grant Road Station. Front desk would behave like they haven't been paid since months by the property owner. Room service people are okay. No lift and helping hands will rush to pick up your luggage when you have successfully climbed a floor. Rooms have no window of any sort. Cleanliness is okay.

During my recent business trip, I booked a hotel online through MakeMyTrip. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the overall experience. The room provided was below average, and the water flow from the tap was extremely low. I raised this concern with the receptionist, requesting either a repair or a room change, but my complaint was not addressed. Furthermore, the hotel lacked other necessary services, and the staff members were unsupportive. It felt more like staying in a hostel rather than a hotel. As a result, I have no intention of visiting this hotel again in the future

Decent rooms with centrally placed location. Rooms have AC & fans, Heater, Shower, Western Toilet, Cupboard facilities, CCTV Cameras in the hotel. Staff are friendly, good service, WiFi available. No lift/escalator available. Friendly reception, early check-in options, neat restroom for fresh up available!

Visit with Family..2 June to 5 June and really nice hotel...You have to compromise with food and other services but in Mumbai just enjoy the outing..Room near and clean. Hotel location is near residential area so no any nuisances. Overall good stay for family.. note that no lift available... so climb the stairs. Great time ..

Nice Staff. Great room. I booked single room & the room was nice, toilet & bathroom were also quite clean. Staff was also quite helpful & friendly. Overall, I would say from my experience, if you're traveling solo & want to stay for 1-2 days then Kumkum hotel is an safe & excellent choice.

Good budget hotel at good location Hotel is at very good location. I stayed in deluxe room, superior room is quite small for a family. Food is very good, but I felt a little over price. Packaged drinking water bottle is not given complimentary and we did not like the taste of filter water which they provide free. Overall good but staff can be trained to be more courteous.

Hotel staff is co-operative and well behaved. It is a pleasant and safe stay for females as well. The service here is better than many 3 star hotels. Rooms and washrooms are clean and well designed in terms of space utilization. They have restaurant on top floor with basic menu. Hotel is nearby to most of tourist spots in central and south Mumbai.

Had a great stay at Kumkum hotel. Rooms and washrooms were neat clean . Room service was quick and prompt. Though lift is not there, but good staff is there to lift your luggage. I had food as well there itself , it tasted good. Had a 6 days stay with no issues at all.

The location is pretty good; railway station is at walking distance. The room was a little small but at this rate, I would say it was good. Most suitable for students and the travellers who want a place to rest for a night or two.

Hotel is very small that too restroom not fit for all size. Room is clean but very bad smell on the restrooms. Even though we requested to spray but smell didn't go away. Around this hotel, area feels not good it looks dirty every where. But you can connect to tourist places very easily. This is budget hotel to stay in this area. Room service is good.

The hotel is close to the main road , able to reach easily , the hotel doesn't have a lift so if you travel heavy , you will find it difficult there , the hotel staffs are very polite , the hotel is very hygenic , deducated staffs. The toilets are very tiny , not up to the standard of a 3star hotel. Food is good, but the price is little too much.

The place is situated in a very good location. Rooms are very clean and bathrooms were super neat. Will recommend it for family as well. Looking forward to visit again. The complimentary breakfast is tasty but the options are limited.

Nice economical place to stay in South Mumbai. Close to local train station. But missing on providing basic services in room like mineral water, electric kettle dental kit etc.

Old building with no elevator/lift. The only option is to climb a broken and eroded stairs that are dangerous. Toilet cum bathroom is extremely small. Rooms are also small. No additional bed can fit for the 3rd person accompanying, the mattress they provide for the 3rd person is not good quality. Breakfast was cold and tasting stale. They refused to prepare fresh tea without sugar for my diabetic mom. They bluntly told we have to take the machine made tea with sugar.Ordered tea from outside and asked for a cup from the hotel staff, they refused to provide cups. Ordered snacks from outside they refused to provide plates. The housekeeper along with the receptionist were the mocking and jeering at us. Hotel Staff is the rudest ever i have encountered in my entire life. No tissues or toiletries provide. Just a soap. I can let go of all the faults with building and room, toilet -bathroom etc . But the behaviour of their staff is something that is not unacceptable. Please find attached the pics. I am not sure how they are highly rated, seems to be fake reviews, better options are available in lesser price and better facilities and in a better area. The only good thing was that the room were clean.

Budget hotel with a very basic services Rooms are clean and well maintained but washroom are very very small. Best part is location. Value for money but do not expect more than room and location. For business trip in budget around 2.5k with fair locality, its my only choice in this area, rest of the hotels are in pathetic as far as location is concern. My feedback to hotel is to have atleast handmade tea in house and open area for seating.
