Receptionist super rude I called to complain about my room as I booked two week earlier for a room with a view They gave me first floor so most of what i see is the stone roof of the ground floor. He said you booked sea view and you get sea view , and that was the end of the conversation, as if i am staying for free or he is paying for me. Thank god next day they were so nice and changed it. Hotel so clean and many pools options No beach , straight to 4 m deep sea. Staff helpful and kind.

The location of the hotel is great very close to many attractions. Very friendly staff good services .. we organized a wedding there for our lovelu couple.. the most marvelous for the guests was food in the hotel, as the taste, wide choice, quality of the meal was amazing. Room service is good. Very peaceful place, beautiful view to the mountains and clear sea water.. the sunset and sunrise is magnificent

Had a night in Antalya and thought I'd treat myself to some luxury. I wasn't disappointed. I really liked this place and hope I can go back again and stay even longer. Breakfast selection was phenomenal. Staff were friendly and kind. Room was good quality and the gym was more than well equipped. Check it out people!

This hotel is a dream there is a huge buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. There are like five pools 2 inside and 3 outside. There are friendly cats which you can stroke but not all. They also have a bar and beach. And the view is absolutely stunning. The rooms are good, some with a balcony. So I think most of us would agree on 5 stars

Stayed in the Mediterranean Suite for 4 nights, all inclusive with access to Urban Chic Lounge. It was a wonderful experience overall. Beautiful view of the sea and pool. Staff was great overall, valet, services at the restaurants, Lounge chic. Only person we found rude was the person that checked us out, she was not approachable.

Our second time back here, this time we brought the kids with us. Brilliant hotel. Great service. We were looked after very well. The breakfast buffet is one of the best- so much to choose from. Staff- very quick at clearing plates. The gym is very well equipped and quite large. Special thanks go to Side in reception. She took great care of us from the moment we arrived and has excellent customer service skills- thank you!

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Great for families as we were travelling with our 4 months old baby and the hotel was very facilitating, they provided a bottle steriliser and even left our little one a small cuddly gift! Impressive breakfast and dinner buffets, not to mention the beautiful sea view from the balcony. Highly recommend

This place is simply a 10/10. The rooms are really nice, superb bed and an absolutely stunning view. Everything in the hotel itself breaths luxury so if you are comfortable spending some money I can highly recommend the Akra Barut!

Had a wonderful stay at Okra Hotel. Stayed in the Mediterranean Suite.. room was big with a beautiful view. The service was outstanding! Everyone was polite and helpful. The buffets were great, each day a little different.. The lounge access was really nice, was always quiet and had snacks and drinks available anytime. Fatma in the lounge was especially pleasant and cheerful. Didn't use the gym but it looked really nice. The spa was good. There isn't a beach but there is a large platform with access to the sea.. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if the water in the pools was a little warmer.. but the pool area itself was great, with plenty of room.

We had an amazing stay! The service was wonderful and the room was amazing. We stayed on the 9th floor (the highest floor is 10) so we had a great view of the sea. The hotel also has a restaurants inside it and there are other places to eat and coffee shops at walking distance…!!! Thank you

Great hotel. Great service. Awesome guest service. There was Jazz bar 251 in premises which we enjoyed. Some reception personnel had unnecessary attitude but overall we had great experience. Hotel has great spa, steam room, sauna and great turkish bath. If you staying have half or full board because their buffet is awesome.

Overall hotel is great but the room is rather too small. We have 2 luggages for 2 of us and another 3 person for org 3 luggages. We can’t find a place to put our luggage other than under the table! The view of the room is nice. The breakfast place is huge but food with limited choices for other cuisines. We ordered another rolling bed but damaged and the rack for luggage also damage! The toilet has no hanging bar or hooks for towel! Beautiful view from room and great facility!! Big comping for to spend your great time inside hotel including a beach to assess too!

We stayed 7nights. The hotel rooms were okay. Small bathrooms than expected. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned during our stay. We found waste products from the last guests on the floor. The receptionists could be nicer. They gave us wrong information during check in about the Mini-bar. The only good thing about this hotel is the Urban chic lounge and the pools. Overall experience was okay but less than you would expect from a 5star hotel.

Everything was perfect, sea view, hotel amenities, & safety. Also the staff was super friendly. I would've given 5 stars if the below was handled better: 1. The room service always missed-up our order. 2. At check-out, they wanted to charge us extra for things we paid in advance, and for a breakfast that we haven't attended. The funny thing is that every time I ask the waiter/room service to charge it on the room, he say that we can't and we have to pay in advance. So I wasn't expecting to pay anything at checkout. 3. Because of point 2, we were late for the airport & we had to book for other flight (after 2 days). If the above is imporved, I will definitely visit again.

We have been to almost all hotels in Lara beach Maybe this is not a holiday hotel and only for business No food late at night, no 24 hour buffet Room was very cold when we came in Two separate beds although we booked it as a couple Breakfast and even the little room fridge items are all extra cost Lucky that we only booked to stay here for a short stay Breakfast is £15 / person which is high for Turkey Would not come back here again, not for us Worst thing is we asked them at reception if there was anywhere open nearby for food; we were told nothing is open; but a restaurant right opposite the hotel is open all night! Not impressed! Very blunt and unhelpful lady at reception basically pushing you to pay in the hotel by giving wrong information.

The Hotel management has changed the hotel into most cat unfriendly hotel I know in Turkey. Having visited this hotel so many years year by year the hotel has done almost everything imaginable to get rid of cats. All food and water is now forbidden to even give by customers. Hotel lies about them giving food to cats, only locals and tourists try to help the cats struggling to survive but now even coming to forbid if customer seen give food. I used to like the friendly atmosphere with cats in the garden and have many times given feedback that almost all people not just kids love having them there but now if you appreciate humane approach to Antalya stray cats it is better to give your money elsewhere.

Great hotel with fantastic location. Though room cleaning staff was ill trained & they disposed off our contact lenses kept at basin without asking us. Moreover, the staff didn't accepted the mistake for which we have to escalate.

Exceptional service. Room was well laid out, good lighting, seating area and work space. The only drawback is the bathroom which could use a few more hooks for towels, and also the slope in the shower area is not steep enough for drainage. Therefore, some of the water leaks out into the hand washing area. Room include a balcony, comfortable for two to enjoy the views Grounds were well kept, nice area for walking with about 4 pools if we counted correctly . Beach with access to the Mediterranean and great views of the Taurus mountains. We had breakfast and dinner buffet, which was amazing. I am an experienced traveler and must say this is one of the most extensive, delicious and creative buffet. Staff was friendly and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend it and hope to have the opportunity to return.

The most impressive things about this hotel are definitely the delicious food and beautiful sea view! I enjoyed a lot while having my breakfast and dinner in this hotel, they really put effort in preparing each meal for the guest! Also, they provides many rest place and entertainment for the guest to chill and relax. It’s such an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. The equipment in the gym is complete as well, included all the basic equipment and machine for me to do my daily workout. They have very beautiful beach for you to take a walk after your meal and enjoy the wind from the sea, it’s so impressive. The room is alright, tiny and comfortable bed. I’m staying in the room where access to the sea view, it is a blessing to be able to enjoy the sea view everyday waking up from my sleep. Ofc there are still a lot of places to be explored. It gonna take some time to do it. But overall it was an impressive and wonderful experience I have in this hotel.

Had a good stay, be clear that this is not a 5 star hotel. It does have a decent location if you have a car and like to visit the many sites around the area. The facility is large with great swimming pools and scenic view of mountain and sea, especially morning. The guest rooms and hallways are smallish and are showing their age, but cleaned well with a great housekeeping staff. The breakfast is great, gets a little crowded due to the scheduled tour stops of arriving buses. There is parking that also gets very full due to the great gym being attended to by outside guests, probably as memberships. Why isn’t it 5 star? No bellhop service, personalized check in, long waits due to either staffing or design. The lobby and facilities are modest other than the beautiful gardens and views. This is a tour bus hotel catering to tours and some meetings, beautiful for a “Turn and Burn” clientele but not a 5 star resort.

We stayed a couple days at this amazing hotel. The staff, service, rooms, amenities, views, dining all were absolutely 5 Stars. It happened to be my birthday the day we arrived and they prepared my room royally and with a beautiful surprise fresh cake in the room. The breakfast and dining options are absolutely mind boggling! We travel approx 4 months out of the year and this hotel definitely has a top class of its own! The rooms were very clean and pillows lovely to sleep on. The swimming pools are heated and beautifully kept. The walkway and café down to the Mediterranean Sea at the back of the hotel is worth the walk. Swimming in the waves can be a bit dicey but with great staff on site, it was a lot of fun. The front desk staff, the concierge, and the the door staff, all very professional and courteous. Would I go back to the hotel? In a heart beat and would love to stay for a week, especially if it was all inclusive The only slight negative was that it was 25-30 walk away from Center of town or about 10 mins by taxi.

This was our second visit love this hotel. Pool staff are amazing, love the adult pool only it is great when your looking for relaxation, My only negative comment would be smoking around the pool it would be great if there was a designated area for this as a non smoker I had smoke coming from both sides was just a bit much. Overall amazing hotel.

Noisy place with design from 2000's, with very bad sound proof, they charge 500 к usd per night, and after several weeks they charge us for minibar instead do it immediately. Food so mediocre. Awful experience. Barely competitive with 4 stars hotels in Europe.

Five star.. great food and staff. Only discomfort was families with small children riding their scooter inside the restaurant and knocking the chairs on our table. But their mother's showed any interest in their children or to stop them.

Rooms provided were not as booked. Staff changed the rooms the following day but the new rooms were not as described when changing rooms and so were not suitable with young kids. Power went in the room because their iron was faulty and all this led to missing breakfast.... again not great with young kids. Got tired of complaining so we just made do but wouldn't book again. Apart from that, the rest of the hotel and the location was great.

This place is chic yet comfortable. The decor and ambience is a treat for the eye and your mood. The food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. Fatima and Eylul are exceptional at serving and lighting this place up . They give it just the right touch with their sweet smile, so you are inclined to visit everyday. Keep up the great standard . 100/100 for the girls ❤️

The hotel is nice, although there is one aspect that falls short of expectations. It is disappointing to find that the noise insulation in a supposedly 5-star hotel is inadequate. From my grand deluxe room, I could easily hear footsteps and other movements from the rooms above, as well as noise from adjacent rooms - even something as simple as the sound of the shower being opened. Additionally, the noise from people passing by and talking outside was also audible. This lack of soundproofing hinders the ability to fully enjoy the stay. I can only imagine how this must affect those staying in regular rooms.

The hotel is lovely & the staff are all very friendly & helpful. Fatima who works in the Urban Chic Lounge went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed & couldn’t do enough for us, her English is brilliant & she helped us to have conversations with other guests. She was great with our kids & made us some lovely cocktails. It was a pleasure to meet her.

  • 5/5 Pariyakon V. 5 months ago on Google
Everything was really good, the view was amazing. The cocktails were spot on. The pools were great with awesome views and epic for sunsets. Today was my birthday. They surprised me with a card and a really tasty cake, I was really happy. I will definitely come back again!

A very busy hotel, the staff is very friendly. The room was good but not perfect. You can see that it’s aging but its clean. However, the room view is really good even that i was on the second floor. The breakfast served everyone with no mistakes. Pool is very clean and the beach too. Overall it was good.

  • 4/5 Benita 5 months ago on Google
Sea view rooms are small but with balcony, sometimes with smoke smell, needs to refresh. Parties by the pool and clubs might disturb you until midnight, not recommended to stay in rooms at the side near outdoor pool. Restaurant has stunning seaside view, gym and spa services are great. Better to call 8000 for guest services, the reception is not able to help most of complains.

Our second time staying at this Hotel. It is excellent in every way. Amazing staff, food and facilities. I would describe it as a hotel catered to adults with children welcome. The staff at the adult pool area were particularly helpful and friendly - Thank you! The views are breath-taking, make sure to stay in a room with a sea view and in the middle or right wing of the hotel as you face it, the view from the left wing isn't as good. Sauna, steam room, Hammam are great. Fantastic Gym. I honestly cant fault this hotel and is one of my favourites to stay in. The only slight issue we had was that there is usually a Jazz band playing every evening and for some reason the cancelled the advertised bands for the rest of the week on 16h Oct '23 - this was disappointing. Cocktails are London prices £10- £12 but very good quality and you don't need many. Wine at dinner is a little expensive too. Thank you everyone at Akra hotel for making our stay so special again. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This was by far the worst hotel my partner and I have ever visited. From the very moment we walked in we had a negative experience. When checking in, the receptionist did not bother to tell us anything about the hotel for example how to get to our room, any of the available facilities, where we can eat or what we have access to. The hotel is like a maze and my partner and I had to figure everything out ourselves. The restaurant was a joke. We asked for a menu and waited 15 minutes to be served. None of the staff smiled or asked to see if we were okay. The rooms did not even have any basic complimentaries such as water. The day before we checked out, we informed reception that we had to leave early to catch a flight and won’t be able to make breakfast. The staff member told us not to worry as they will prepare us a breakfast box to take on the go. I did as I was instructed and went to reception to pick up my breakfast box only to encounter a miserable staff member who told me nobody made a note of a breakfast box for us and said he can’t do anything and didn’t bother to help any further. When I explained the matter that me and my wife were specifically told to come and that it would be ready, he seemed careless and said “not much we can do”. My partner and I honestly struggled to understand how this hotel was classified 5 stars. We went there for our honeymoon and left having the worst experience in Antalya because of this disgraceful hotel. We have honestly stayed at 3 star hotels where we were treated 10x better and were provided with better facilities. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, even to my worst enemy.

Truly 5 star hotel. Gym is awesome. Better than many gyms people sign up for membership. The Spa service is very special. Massage was very very clean and great set up. Make sure to use the Sauna and the Turkish bath "Hamam" you'll feel so refreshed afterwards

It’s an awesome experience here at Akra, they treats us very well with complementary service and stuff, the people here are really helpful and friendly, they were trying to accommodate us well when we face room issues. They have a very beautiful pools around the area, kids area, beautiful garden, beach and diving center. This 5 stars hotel is highly recommended.

I found sound proofing between rooms was not adequate (could hear adjoining rooms). (main criticism related to eating). Otherwise the place was clean and the service good. In the Spa plastic water containers were left in the the sauna and steam room by guests (hotel should make it clear to guests that this is not acceptable behaviour)

This is the perfect hotel! The seaside setting is gorgeous, the facilities are clean and beautiful, the property is perfectly cared for, the rooms are excellent, and the breakfast is wonderful. Best of all, the staff is outstanding! Every person I dealt with, the telephone operator, chambermaid, concierge, front desk, bell captain, food service staff, etc, was collegial, professional, efficient, helpful, friendly, and capable, and went the extra mile. I especially want to mention Bulent Inceli, the bell captain, who got my room changed to one with a perfect view and also made the wifi work on my phone, moved my luggage, and gave me a bottle of water! He was amazing! I also want to thank the wonderful concierge (unfortunately I don't have his name printed, just inked on a card, but it looks like Daur or Oaur). I was expecting a package which didn't arrive before I checked out, and he kept an eye out for it and had it delivered to a pick-up point in Istanbul where I was able to get it as I was passing through there. Extraordinary service! Yes, the Akra is a short distance from town but don't be put off by that. A taxi to the Old Town is very quick and cheap, and in my opinion it is way more pleasant to stay here than to be in town. I highly recommend this hotel.

Went there a few years ago, it was one of the best hotels I've been to. Clean, they have a really good service and they have a brilliant location at the sea. The only downside for me back then was that they didn't have a beach. I hope they are still at the same level.

This is a true 5 star experience. Beware the others claiming to be 5 star for €30/40. This hotel oozes class, the staff are as good as anywhere on earth. The all inclusive experience is worth every cent and the food is of the highest quality, not to mention the additional 2 on site restaurants. Again, I must stress, the staff are a shining example of customer service at the highest level.

Not a bad hotel overall. Great facilities, especially gym and heated pools. Nice bar with live music. Breakfast and restaurants are good. Rooms are dated though. Water pressure & cold water availability is poor. Service is sub-par.

  • 5/5 Norman G. 2 years ago on Google
Stayed for 8 nights in November 2021. Facilities are excellent, Jazz bar 251 is excellent with live music or a DJ every night. Food was generally good, fine dining restaurant was first class but the cheaper places seemed a bit heavy on processed food. Biggest issue is the language barrier which was tricky so I'd recommend learning a few basic Turkish phrases. The beach is not a beach but more of a pier which I didn't think was clear from my research. It has stairs into the ocean and is deep enough to jump and dive in, plenty of sunbeds and a bar that serves decent food and drinks. We spent most of our days there. It also has a scuba school during summer season that offers 45 minute taster sessions in the bay. Any issues we raised with concierge/helpdesk were addressed swiftly. Would definitely go back.

Just back from a week at this hotel. Was outstanding, the view from the room over the bay was amazing. The service of staff excellent, facilities brilliant. Everything you could ask for of a hotel. I injured my ankle on my last day & the care by staff as I waited around in some pain was second to none

We visited this hotel for a wedding in its rooftop bar and stayed for 4 nights. The setting is beautiful and we had a lovely view of the sea and mountains from our room. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice shower. The breakfast was amazing - great choice and well executed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the fitness area and pools also. The only small negative was the room decor was worn and could do with replacing. We plan to return.

Excellent hotel with perfect amenities. Location is amazing very close to the city and markets. Buffet is very nice sometimes a bit repetitive but high quality. We took the honeymoon room which comes with different pillows balloons. They also bring you a bottle of champagne. Very nice and highly recommend.

We came here in October 2020, middle of the covid pandemic and I can honestly say this hotel was incredible. Great beds, very big and comfortable. We had the sea view which was a nice touch. The food was amazing! Especially the breakfast and the pool and sea was a delight. If you’re looking to book this place then we would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

I love their urban social concept. I went for three nights with my wife and we had an amazing stay. They have multiple restaurants with great food and an awesome view of by the sea. They promote a sense of well-being for all their guests and provide services that fit individual needs. Definitely would recommend staying here if visiting Antalya.

Rooms and facilities are top notch, staff are amazing. Only problem is you can hear everything around you inside your room.. first night the room next door had a party and couldn’t sleep the staff handled it well… the room is looking the sea in the sixth floor during the weekend you can hear the music inside the room, the window glass is so light you can hear everything even people talking…. Of course it’s a big hotel so lots of weddings for a person on a business trip you can forget about sleeping.

There are many good hotels but what differs between good and great hotels are the staff. The hotel overall is good but some of its staff really carry the hotel to a greater level. Specially Mr. Tolgahan. He was incredibly helpful when needed and made us as female guests feel safe, comfortable and heard. He is incredible at his job, professional and overall wonderful.

Fantastic hotel, great location and facilities. Breakfast is top notch, worth coming here just for that. They had a few pastries I’d buy every day for breakfast just amazing. Room is fine, does the job, but the location, gym, views, pools and most importantly the breakfast what was amazing.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in, recently. Would i go back to this place? Yes of course. Well worth the money. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Might end up there again same time next year! Its not 5* for no reason!
