We visited several hotels in Mamaia area over the years but never we find a better place than Alma. The rooms.are very spacious, lovely style, high ceiling and quality furniture and finishing. The pool is wonderful with state-of-the-art water treatment (no chloride), restaurant has by far the best fish and seafood in the region ( we tried all of them!) and personnel is just amazing. Products are bought from local producers (also for breakfast and even wines), simply fantastic. On top of everything, the owners Elena and Florin make you feel at home like family and will help you with anything, full heatedly. We decided to stop trying other places and make our this second home at the sea!

Great services, the room was quite large and the most comfortable bed we ever had away from home. Also the hotel offers towels and has reserved chairs for its clients, all included in the price of the room. Also, late check out is possible, just ask about it.

The hotel was generally dirty. A bit noisy when we stayed . Management very poor . Will not go back anytime soon

the pool is very small, breakfast is just ok, cleaning service is very loud and next to the hotel ist a construction site...we also discussed that they are hiding it and were a little bit mean... dont book it!!! there is no way out without paying extra...if you have a problem, they just ignore it.

Staff is extraordinary and very friendly. Nothing is too much and they will do their best to help you. The breakfast is very diverse, from croissants, baked eggs to various cold cuts, and typical Romanian spreads, and even pastries! If you're on a diet, good luck :D It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and you can ask every day for free sun chairs at Lujo Beach. All beaches have their own loud music with lots of bass, especially in the weekends, so don't expect to enjoy a quiet time. The beach itself is well-maintained, just make sure you arrive before 10 am to make sure there's a spot available. There's a lot of construction going on in the area and streets are quite packed so parking might be a bit of a challenge.

The room looks exactly like in photos But that's it The first day I have felt like I am boiling myself inside of the room , I have tried to start the air conditioning , nothing seems to work , only heating from the ac , precisely 31 degrees Celsius. On the second day I have asked the receptionist to fix the AC and to ask the cleaner to change the bed sheets and clean the room until I am back from my lunch and 3hrs walk . I was very surprised to be announced by the receptionist that the room wasn't cleaned and she advised me not to try to start the AC as is not an available option at their hotel. Room service was not available as well as many other things that will upset you on your holiday. I don't recommend

Good value for the money paid. Can't go wrong with this choice.

Stayed there last year, poor parking spaces, staff not very experienced and rude wouldn't come back or recommend it!

The location is extremely comfortable and the staff are 100% dedicated to pleasing their guests. They have an outdoor swimming pool, a very good restaurant and they also offer quick room service. The rooms are big, with a bedroom and a living room, the bathroom is spacious and everything is very clean. The rooms have a little bit of an odd smell, but the staff says it's because of the wooden furniture and I think they are right, as the place is really clean and properly taken care off.

Just a few things that contributed to a memorable mini holiday: good food, quality ingredients, the most delicious bruschette, a delicious pastry/celery puree, exemplary cleanliness, nice employees and patrons, respectful and with a very good attitude! Rooms are ok, food is good, but the service (male waiter in the evening shift) is bad. No smile, if you ask anything he "punishes" you with the answer...
