You must experience this activity!! You can use coral to make a pattern and dye your own goods! I tried to dye a cotton bag, and I love it!! The only one in the world!!

The only place to do the art of coral dyes on 1 object of your choice. I registered in advanced and it was easy to do online. We paid yen on location. The location is absolutely beautiful and make time to walk up to Floor 3. I made a tote to use! The instructions are in Japanese but are easy to watch and follow. You have 1 hour to complete your work of art. I wish we had a little more time so I could figure out my layout and then do it. Lots of various coral and designs to pick from. Even the bathroom was stunning! There is 2 parking spots across the road. We ended up paying for parking further down the road as those spaces were full. The signs on the table for making colors are in English and use the colors. There is no food or drink inside.

I called and made reservations a week out. They have their own parking lot which is nice. Card or yen is fine for payment. The class is 50 min and an absolutely wonderful time! Highly recommend!

Came here after being disappointed by the shurijo castle. Turned out, this is a great experience. We spent 90 minutes here learning how to dye using coral stones. It was a wonderful experience, very calming and creative. You pay 3300 yen for the experience and get a self created gift... Highly recommend.

This is a pricey activity, but it was really enjoyable. Cost depends on what you choose to make, but averages about 3300 yen + per person. We walked in, but i'd call in advance if you have a large party and are concerned about cost and need to know the actual price!! They show you the proper techniques to use. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. There is a small store downstairs with predyed products that you can purchase. There is a good amount of parking across the street.

Nice workshop! Staff there explained the process very well and it's easy to get started. There is a time limit (about 1 hour) to finish, had to speed up in the last 10 minutes.

Definitely fun to have the DIY on the coral dyeing, thou wish my table has more variety of coral designs as we were the last table so probably the nicer designs were picked by other tables. It was a fun experience planning ur color combi and design-- there are display in the room so get inspired!! - - and definitely book early to avoid disappointment as they have limited seats.

Had a great experience making our own coral dry items there! We were unable to visit the Shuri Castle, therefore we walked to the Shuri Ryusen 20 minutes walk from Gibo station. After a short brief by the staff in simple English, we cracked our brains to make our own designs. We approximately used 45mins to finish our creation, and the staff will fold our creation neatly into a plastic bag and gave us the instructions card. Walking towards the Shuri Tram station is more interesting although it is further than Gibo station.

This is a unique experience. If you will be in Okinawa more than a couple days add this place to your list. We made a painting as a gift. It was fun. Check it out.

Shuri Ryusen, dyed textile by coral. That’s a really nice experience!! The patterns made by coral are very unique and have a good design. My four-year-old daughter also enjoyed dyeing and completed her T-shirt. The experience is about 50 minutes, held four times a day. We need to reserve in advance. We can also dye bags and thin cotton towels. It costs 3,300yen for an adult, 2,750yen for a child including the material. The location is 6 minutes from Shurei-mon gate of Shuri castle. I definitely recommend dropping by this shop to experience coral dyeing after visiting Shuri castle.

Wonderful cultural experience where we painted with coral. The staff were so sweet and the activity was really beautiful and fun. I highly recommend it, and they have a pretty shop there as well to purchase items. You will need to make reservations, but it is very easy online.

Liked the coral dyeing! Besides coral, they have different options, such as crab or fish. It was really fun! You might have to book in advance.

Ich mochte den Kurs sehr und habe 2 Shirts gemacht. Die Technik ist einfach und gut für Anfänger geeignet. Wir haben spontan hier einen Kurs gemacht ohne vorherige Reservierung.

They don’t bother to respond on social media. I was just asking how to buy the black and red apron. Sad they don’t seem to care.
