A reasonable Indian eatry with a good variety of food and drinks. On the pricy side but still worth visiting.

Located on 2nd floor of the Mall Westlands Food was very good especially the butter naan and mutton curry Punjabi....was very filling we even had to carry home. Atmosphere was also great. Service was a bit wanting especially from our waiter , she had an attitude that wasn't customer friendly, she also didn't take my order correctly. Overall great experience especially for food experience

It's funny that you know where I went even before posting. This restaurant is lit....hidden somehow but the lighting and the smell of the freshly Cooked cuisines, make you find the way . Tried this restaurant after reading the reviews. Tad difficult to find as it’s in a shopping mall. It was quiet when we arrived and they looked like they were packing up. We were served quickly. Food was fresh. Portion sizes were big. The food tasted ok to good. The chicken tikka masala and daal were nice. Meat curry was ok. Naan we’re fresh and fluffy. Needed some more chilli and that something else for the food to be elevated. Decent place with good service. Food didn’t have the pazazz. However, could be a lot worse.

Had a wonderful time here. The food was yummy. The chicken boneless tikka was juicy and yummy 😋. Finished off our dinner with kesar pista kulfi with rabdi.

The Kung Pao Chicken doesn't really compare to that offered at the Vista Restaurant at Krishna Centre (also in Westlands) which shut down unfortunately, probably due to the Covid crisis. I also found the service to be lacklustre and the servings small for the price. Judging from the other reviews, maybe this hasn't always been the case?

I have dined in twice in my two days of stay in Nairobi. Location is very well connected, food is delicious. One if the best Indian food I have had tried in last few months. Definitely worth trying their Paneer options, masala papad and Butter Naan. They do have a tandoor and the grilled food options are Great.

You say your paneer kadai is your speciality, well it tasted like bland hospital food. Chicken makhni was too watery, but a compliment your chicken pieces in makhni were many and well cooked. Your prices are extravagant but your standard and quality of food is quite poor.

Very authentic and archaic atmosphere. The photo on the wall of the president Kenyatta entertaining with a smiling made that abundantly clear. They're at a point where they are supposed to face difficulty after a highway toll gate was constructed nearby, which made the access quite difficult to enter the building. Nonetheless, the cuisine of highly quality and high maintenance of the interior and the hospitality could be picking up the slack.

As I walked up to the poorly lit, non descript entrance to this mini mall, the aromas from the first floor promised something truly authentic. Haandi delivered some of the best Indian cuisine I have had in all my travels. Definitely on my "must visit" list on next trip to Nairobi.

Best Indian food in Kenya

Slow service on the night we visited. Unfortunately, it took a while to receive all drinks, starters, and main dishes. The dessert took 20 min from order to serve. I loved the flavors, and the authenticity of the food was refreshing. However, I wish the service was slightly faster, and I wish there were chairs for infants.
