Best Swahili dishes in Nairobi. The food is simply delicious, it is the closest thing to being in Mombasa. I have tried almost the entire menu and they are yet to disappoint. Great place for a quick bite or a full meal. The grill selection is also very good. The chicken tikka with buttered naan is one of my all-time favourites. The service is a bit slow, but I guess that keeps the experience inline with being at the coast. They also have a delivery service. I am yet to try this, but I am skeptical as most delivery services ruin the food. I would definitely recommend a visit. Try the biryani, the cooked chilli leaves you wanting more.

I haven't dined in as yet but I got a take out from them.... I was so hungry hata picha moja tu... Smh!! I remembered when I was almost done... I had a craving for Mandi and a pal directed me n a colleague to get a take out from them since it was a busy day at the office. The gentleman at the receiving end of the call was very friendly and we request for Mandi mbuzi rice by 1pm it was ready as requested we sent our rider who was able to pick our delivery.... For them to deliver to town is kshs 300. That food slapped.. Mmmhhhh they add kachumbari and pepper sauce. The food was neatly packed with no spillage. The meat was tender and soft and the rice was a generous portion as well as tasty. No one talked in the office for we were busy devouring 🤣🤣🤣 and after we were to lazy to stand 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Highly recommend. Next time il be dining in and atleast il remember to get a Pic or two

One of my favourite places when it comes to Middle Eastern food. Their breakfast which includes Mahamri, Samosa, Kebab and Chai is simply too yummy.

The restaurant is not like before. They had only 3 items over lunch time out of the entire menu which was quite disappointing. They really need to work hard just as they were when they started.

The food is amazing, the chicken Tikka is so tender despite the roasting and their shawarma is always on point. The juices are so fresh and you can literally see the fruits they're using. I love how the quality of their food is still the same after more than 5 years. A true hidden gem
