Good service! Food are good too! One thing highlight, they have bubble tea and taste good! Overall, it is good to be here.

Our ferry delayed for two hours so when we finally arrived in Nanaimo, we decided to go for lunch at Huong Lan. The restaurant was packed at 12:30pm and people were still coming in so we waited for about 20 mins. Despite them being so busy, they still had time to sanitize all tables, chairs, menu, and even the condiments on the table. The food was surprisingly delicious, especially the spring roll. Highly recommended.

Today my 12-year-old son took his father out for supper. He and I have been coming and enjoying the food here for a very long time. It is always been a tradition that's he and I would go out for dinner the day before I leave to go away to Camp to work. Noah that's my boy's name proudly had $105 in his wallet. He's very smart with money when he decides to be LOL. He had just come off a first game playoff with his team the Orioles to advance to another playoff game tomorrow. I love him and so much I am very blessed that this time I didn't have to say goodbye. Thank you my son

I am hooked on the spring rolls and mini wonton soup! Always so hot tasty and full of flavor. The service is quick and friendly. Very clean. Right beside a dollar store, bonus, plus parking is plentiful.

I got food poisoning..good thing I made it home just in time. My advice..don't order the chicken in anything. The service was mediocre at best...we were not even given glasses for our soft drinks..and we were ignored after they took our order and dropped it at our table. Getting the bill was another problem..they buzzed around our table before they clued in as we tried to get their attention. No..we would not return. The ambiance is quite nice..and it appeared to be clean..but when a cook is handling chicken it can be iffy..obviously the chicken was the problem in my dish because the rest of the meal was bland.

Went in just before closing without realizing it, I offered to leave but the server was super nice and said it was no problem. Food came unbelievably quick and I'm so glad I stopped in because it is fantastic food, couldn't have been better. I've been to the Parksville one too and haven't been disappointed there either. Great food and friendly people all around, will definitely be back.

This is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in Nanaimo. We had strawberry bubble tea, fried spring rolls and pho tai. The food was absolutely delicious! And the staff are so nice & friendly. We highly recommend this place.

$20 for one bowl of pho, it's good but I've been to places and paid half that amount for the same quality of food

Wow! First visit to this place and not disappointed. The menu selection is pretty large so the likelihood of finding something for everyone is pretty good. The prices seem a bit on the higher side but the portions are huge, well seasoned, hot and flavorful! The seating is a bit cozy when it gets busy and the service was generally pretty good with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Basic beer selection and a few deserts available including bubble tea. Will visit again.

The food was absolutely amazing! Delicious very tasty big portions, a little over priced but what isn't these days. Now the service, was awful. Kinda rude servers. We didn't even get asked if we wanted some water, I had to get up and ask them while they were chit chatted behind the bar, no asking if we needed refills no asking anything really. Just set the food down and basically walked away. Now if it was extremely busy I would kinda understand but it was very slow when we were there.

The best Vietnamese food I've had. We kinda thought it'd be good when we walked in because it was crowded, and this was at lunchtime. We were not disappointed. Definitely will eat there next time I'm in Nanaimo.

Server was lovely♥️ Rice platter was good, lemon grass chicken could’ve used more lemon grass seasoning. Spring rolls was disappointing •1st attempt- burnt spring rolls. •2nd attempt oil they were using must’ve been old and needs to be replaced -Outside tasted like old oil -aside from that, the filling was delicious. A man from the kitchen stood on the middle of the restaurant and looked at us. ( seemed because of the spring rolls sent back ) -was creepy ^ps was going to mention to our server but didn’t want the man to come out and give weird vibes and stares

I have been coming here for years, since it opened. Consistently great food and friendly staff. My go to place for Vietnamese food for sure. Go ahead and try it out because you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food. The kitchen is fast and even with a packed house gets food to the table quick. They also do a great job of packing their meals to go for delivery or pickup so you aren't sacrificing quality if you want to enjoy Huong Lan on your couch at home.

Super sketchy menu. I wanted the $20 pork vermicelli, but I wanted to substitute beef instead of pork. She said no problem and then recommended. I get the beef dish and add spring rolls onto it. I told her I just wanted the pork dish but with beef instead. Went to pay the bill and she turned it from a $20 dish into a $35 dish without even telling me. $70 for my wife and I to eat a quick lunch is unacceptable. She didn’t even get a drink!

Love this restaurant! The staff are so friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and there are so many good options. I recommend the lemongrass chicken, #37. Also, they have some of the best bubble tea in town!!

Food is great for takeout, haven’t done dine in yet. Unfortunately pricing is on the higher side. Only thing is I wish they have a vegetarian crispy spring roll option available because I don’t eat pork.

We ordered dinner for 2 for take out. Delicious as always. We live in the opposite side of the city and still feel it's worth the trip to have their food. Great value. Great taste.

It' was ok.. I think I was looking for more. It's was something I could've made at home.

This place was SO NASTY forreal. Like.. Completely unseasoned broth, the shrimp had not been cleaned, there were just random bits of different meat throw in. Chicken was undercooked and the rest was mushy and flavourless. Our dishes did not match the menu description and almost everything on the menu is $20+.

Was fast and easy to order take-out and the food was absolutely delicious. Husband and I were hunting for a good place to grab bubbletea and this place has all our favorite flavors. The staff was courteous and the atmosphere welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Can't say enough good about this place. Price, quality, tasty..... amazing. On the plus it keeps. Wanted 23 large so bad, but was going to be busy till late. Bought it, had my wife take it home. 4 hours later i get home, get it out the fridge, and because of the way they package it i can easily heat what needs to be heat and put it together and eat it and it was like I had just order it. Was fresh and tasty like i just ordered it and for the price....thumbs up!

Bue bum hue waa delicious! Says spicy but just right. The viet coffee was good too just dont burn your finger like I did by touching it lol.
