If you, like us, have come to the Trianon hotel in Naples for many years prepare for disappointment. We understand that on our first day here of a 7 night stay the hotel was sold and is now called The Capri. What you will miss: Daily room cleaning service...in 7 days we had one room service, despite our asking for more. -Plush robes in each room to use during your stay...no robes at all now. -Generous daily replenishment of bottled water...complimentary tap water only now. -High end toiletries in each room, and plenty of them-replaced whenever you run out magically on your bath room shelf.....random, odd and cheap bare minimum toiletries which are tiny and not replaced when you run out. -Copious amounts of fresh high end towels...now think Motel 6 white towels and certainly not enough to last for days (which is how far apart room cleaning service happens). -Toilet paper to the level you use at home...one ply cheap stuff only now. The reason why we give it two stars is that the hotel is clean. It is still well located for shopping and restaurants. But think bare bones, not plush as it was when the establishment was called The Trianon.

Our room was incredibly clean. Short walk to our fishing charter and lovely walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff were so friendly. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Room is very nice, had to keep the a/c on the whole time so the room didn't get hot. Everything was pretty nice about the place. Don't care for the pastries, not that good. Didn't get any of the stuff you pay for with the resort fee other than the water & breakfast pastry.

Me and my family visited Naples over dozen times, and stayed at variety of hotels. This place is great and probably the most affordable option in Old Naples (for what you get). The hotel is nice and clean, has comfy beds, free beach towels, and located close the the beach and restaurants.

Charming Old Naples hotel. Beautiful exterior. Well maintained interior. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately the fact that this hotel, like many others, make house keeping on demand only and eveb the barebokes significantly detracted from the stay. After a long day at work, I dont like to have to call and beg for towels.

Other couple we were with needed 3 different rooms until it didn't smell moldy. Continental breakfast was a joke ! 5 choices but allowed only one thing and monitered like the Gestapo. You want an extra muffin $3.50. You get either a bagel, croissant, or English muffin or a Danish or oatmeal. Just 1 thing? High end hotel price ? Has this what high end has come down to? Bottom line is great location to 5th ave. No excuse for their continental breakfast joke. Red roof in has better breakfast They all have a better breakfast!

Had such a wonderful time at The Capri! We stayed in the king suite and absolutely loved the room. Will and Anthony are fantastic! Very hospitable - can't wait to come back.

Imagine spending 400 dollars for a hotel of average quality and not even being able to get a complimentary shot of espresso for breakfast. This hotel is the budget airline of hotels. Everything costs money even though it's included. They also charge scam resort fees that includes services and things nobody ever uses. The room is nice and clean, but not 400 dollars nice and clean. I can get a hotel twice as nice as this for a third of the price in Tokyo or Dubai and get WAY better service. Dirty uniforms, average at best staff, terrible complimentary breakfast (really dessert) and bland room design. As the luxury hotel industry in America is a joke, I would rather just save my money and stay in a chain hotel. Only stay here in a pinch or if the other places are all taken.

We were offered cookies at check in, and within an hour there were none left.....breakfast was two sweet rolls and coffee/tea....that's it....no fruit, yogurt,etc.... for the price of the room the breakfast was lacking to say the least....hotel and rooms in nice condition and location.....bellman was great.

Very good hotel. You should change the breakfast policy. Late the people eat as much as they want!

The Capri Inn proved to be a charming and cozy accommodation option. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The inn's location was convenient, allowing me to easily explore the nearby attractions and beaches. I highly recommend The Capri Inn for a relaxed and enjoyable stay in Naples.

Lovely, beautifully decorated. Jennifer greeted us with champagne and helpfulness (and loaned us her IPhone charger because we forgot ours!). The lobby is fresh and comfortable and the rooms are newly decorated and everything was pristine clean. Quiet at night except the air conditioning was a little funky, because rather than a consistent white noise, it was a variable noise that distracted my husband, but we just had to get used to it. Even so, the beds were great and the room spacious and comfortable. The only glitch was trying to get someone to clean our room in a timely way after our first night. We were out of the room most of the day, returning tired at about 4pm. No one had cleaned it and we were wanting to get freshened up before dinner, but we were still waiting for the room to be taken care of. I spoke to the concierge and he seemed a little stymied but checked on it. I asked him if we could expect the same timing on the next day and he said he couldn't tell me. Other than that, all the staff was helpful and skilled with what they did. We had a very good experience there with every perk they promised - champagne, continental breakfast and afternoon cookies. We will be back! Linda and Ron

Everything about our stay at The Capri Inn was outstanding! It is a tastefully renovated boutique hotel in a stately building. We stayed in the 2 bdr private cottage, and, wow! The decor is beautiful, and it was outfitted with every amenity you could need. We particularly enjoyed having coffee on the porch overlooking a private secluded yard (great if you travel with your pup, or little ones!) The staff was professional and courteous; Will especially made sure we knew he was there to assist with anything. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants (Cafe Marquise for breakfast !) or sunsets on the beach. We also took advantage of the shuttle provided by The Capri Inn to their sister property, The Edgewater Beach Hotel, where we enjoyed a perfect day on a beautiful beach complete with food and bar service. I wholeheartedly recommend The Capri Inn!

Very nice hotel and location close to 5th Avenue and several restaurants. Naples is such a great place to go for a vacation. Beautiful, and great for older people to enjoy.

Great spot, helpful friendly staff. Perfect lite breakfast great quiet pool area. Our room had tall ceilings and a balcony. 30 minute walk to sunset or pier or tommy bahamas, 5 minutes to 5th ave. Many days a driver would take us anywhere nearby. Also daily fee includes bikes. We went to Port Royal to "pick our next house;)"

The ONLY thing I don't absolutely LOVE about this hotel is the bathroom. The layout is odd. I have been staying here for 5 years. Multiple times a year and the staff is outstanding. The pool is perfect and the location is great. I really love this place

Had the absolute best weekend stay at the Capri! Quaint hotel located in an incredible location, tons within walking distance. Rooms are comfy and updated, pool is clean and inviting. An excellent hotel in old town Naples! Will be back!

Beautiful and comfortable. The recently remodeled rooms remind me of staying at a beach house. For the price and resort fee, it would be nice if there was a better breakfast and if the pool were open later.

We have not stayed at the hotel just yet, but I wanted to take a few minutes and give 5 stars for Divine the supervisor. We have a difficult family emergency going on and she has gone above and beyond to help us change our booking. We are extremely grateful for her. She is super kind, genuine, positive, professional, and communicative. She called us multiple times to update us on our reservation, and really cared to help us. She is truly a wonderful person and we just want to say THANK YOU!!!! We are looking forward to our future stay. Thank you Divine and Trianon hotel.

A really quiet, clean, and friendly hotel! Carpets in room a bit worn, but room was wonderful otherwise. Location was fantastic.

The worst costumer service ever!! The person at the front desk has the worst attitude against customers. I tried to pass by and see if it could be possible to check in a little earlier, the person at the front desk who is calling herself a “manager” only looked at me from head to toe and yelled at me saying it’s only until 4 pm and when I asked for the rude attitude, she screamed at me “don’t you hear me? It’s at 4pm”, then walked out and took pictures of my car and called the police without even allowing me to say anything and locked herself in a room like I was doing something wrong. What a horrible person trying to throw out their garbage to costumers. I think this place will be loosing their business pretty soon due to an uneducated person.

The hotel is cute, clean, & friendly, but be prepared to put a deposit of $100 per night for incidentals…which is exorbitant & unnecessary. It has no restaurant or bar, but instead a little tiny self-serve snack store. There’s nothing provided in the mini fridge and in the room is just coffee. But I guess somebody could spend $100 a night in coffee lol

Customer service very rude person assistant to the manager she says her manager name Debra she was not in! We got a two days reservation due to bad weather we didn’t make it the first night got to the hotel the next morning around 10am than today Sunday I requested a late check in and she gave her 30 minutes without even looking at my reservation with a very bad actitude! Will never again book at this hotel at I will complain American Express for having this type of hotel on the website for travel They didn’t even have to clean my room for the first night and they have Check in at 4pm why can they have a courtesy of given us a late check out ? Very very dissatisfied!

We have come here several times because the hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice and the pool area is cool. It is very close to down town Naples off 5th Ave. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of nice places walking distance

Wonderful hotel, fantastic stay! Beautiful boutique hotel with great location to enjoy Naples at it's best. Shops, restaurants and beaches all close. Friendly staff and warm inviting lobby. Thanks for the great stay!!

Bed linens lack a proper blanket and the bed spread is see-through thin. Bedroom is outdated and needs refreshing. Wi-Fi is super slow. At $500/night, probably the most overpriced room for what you get! Reception desk has a “can’t do” attitude. Could not check in early or check out passed 11. Location is the ONLY good thing about this hotel.

Giving two stars just for the location and because it is a quaint little place on a residential block very close to fifth Avenue, But like others have said, you are on your own. The service… That’s a nonexistent term here. If you are OK with not having your room cleaned every day or for a few days unless you keep asking them at the desk to at least provide new towels, then that’s pretty much my only complaint. At first I was very bothered by this but after we left and I thought about it, we really did like it overall. It was quiet and you felt more like you were in a big house than a busy resort. And so I changed my two star review to four-star.

Hidden gem in Naples. Great place to stay at a reasonable (for Naples) cost. Just off 5th Ave. so quiet while still convenient to downtown restaurants. No on-site dining but not a problem since you are close to scores of good eateries. Comfortable room, but I wish I had up-graded to a room with a full balcony. Room for improvement - in-room robes would be nice especially for going to and from the pool and newspaper would also be nice. Skip the a la carte breakfast, not worth it and good coffee shops just a few blocks away.

Have stayed here for years and hotel is nice , well -located for 5th Ave walking and clean . Unfortunately, front desk has an employee ( maybe Nancy is her name ) in her 50-60 s who has horrible people skills and rude. It’s slow season as the parking lot was not full all weekend and she refused to let us checkout just 1 hour later at 12 . Hotel management should not allow this person to alienate any customer , and esp those that follow rules

One star is already too much. The room stank. The carpet was stained. The cleaning is planned only every 3 days. Trash was not picked up. Price was very high for the poor service we had. They don’t refill shower gel and shampoo. New towels are provided only on request. A place to forget.

If I could I would give this place no stars. Absolutely no service here. You are on your own. I have travelled the world and I can say this is the worst hotel experience I have had. I have stayed in Southeast Asia in places that cost $30 US per night that offer better hospitality than this hotel. Please spend your money at another hotel. You will not be pleased with your stay here. You are better off at a Red Roof Inn. Very low end stay.
