Professional service and amazing food! We came here to have a meal and it amazed a lot of people; some even waited outside. The waiter recommended trying a special pizza that definitely didn't disappoint. The interior is modestly decorated with a painting of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on the wall, indicating that the building is very old and historical. It's a great place!

Small Restaurant and very important to book in advance. The pizzas looked great but it could be that the one we choosed was not the best one. The napolitab vegetables on the top gave a bitter flavor and I did not like that combination. The starters were good. Specially the one with ricota cheese was really tasty.

We ordered a pizza bufala(acceptable), a grilled calamar (horible) and a parmigiana di mellanzane(good). The pizza was not the best! The tomatos were sliced and without the tipical sweetnes. The mozarella was without specific buffala taste. To much dough and lack of tomato sauce(crushed tomatos). Otherwise very nice backed! The grilled calamar ist the worst I ever had...gummy and burned! No salt on it, no salt on salad...a waste of money! The napoletan ragu was good, there is no much to talk about!

We were charged 16 euros extra for coperto and 5 euros for each tap water. Not recommended, avoid!! My friends and I were very upset with this place, they will also leave a review. The service was terrible.

This place was 10/10. Never had a better pizza in my life (and I've had many!) even though we only spoke English we we're welcomed and treated just like the locals. Service was spot on. Our bill came to £30 and we had starters and alcohol. You need to experience this place. Best in napoli

A real find, we stumbled across Insolito, hungry and tired. It was SO GOOD. Pizzas are hand-made and huge, but so tasty, you'll still eat it all. Salad was excellent. We even tried some tasty calamara as a side. So good. Lovely atmosphere. Not rushed. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

My friends and I stumbled upon this awesome restaurant. The pizzas here are massive and so delicious. Price is affordable and good value. We got the margherita and the seafood pizza. This restaurant did not feel like a tourist trap and was one of the highlights of Naples.

This is by far the best food I've had in Naples (pizzas, pastas, entrees, wine). Tried a bunch of restaurants but this is just the best. Will definetly come back here when I'm in the city again. Can get quite crowded in weekends/season, so might consider making an online reservation especially for dinner

Really nice place to eat pizza. Insólito is located in the city centre near the Cathedral. They have a good variety of pizzas. Pizza is fantastic and worth it. Portions are good and is a good value for money. Recommended

Visited this restaurant twice. Staff were friendly and catered well to both Italian and international clientele. Both pasta (we had gnocchi and linguine) and pizza were excellent - tasty, delicious yet good value. Great place to head too, especially as little less busy then some of the eateries on via Tribunale.

The best pizza we had in Naples! We went on our first evening in the city quite late for dinner and we were rewarded! The quality of ingredients made for exceptional pizza. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was authentic, the house wine really good and the prices very reasonable. We’ll be back!

The best dinner we had during our 5 days Italian escapade. Came here without any reservations and we were warmly welcomed (eventhough we have takeaway limoncello spritz). The service was very attentive and warm at all time. They have a menu with a huge variety of foods to choose from starting from the starters to pizzas and pastas. The atmosphere is very local-ish, overall it’s an unpretentious little restaurant that serves authentic Neapolitan food and gives you a good service. It is not pricey at all. Will come back again if I have a chance to visit Naples again.

Very good carbonara and tomato pasta. Tasty tiramisu and huge pizzas (marinara is the cheapest we have seen)

A very nice place. Everything you could possibly expect, if you look for a traditional restaurant in Naples at a good price. I recommend the antipasta of the house. Big enough for 3 to 4 people. And you wil struggle, because the pizza is very good too.

Excellent, nondescript restaurant, that’s a good mix of traditional menu with slow food ingredients. I have to say, we hit the jackpot with this one. Amazing pasta and pizza, they were both tomato based, had great balance in flavor and weren’t too heavy (unlike some of the other restaurants). The service was also on point - all the staff were very warm and friendly, and would make you feel right at home.

Wonderful! We had the classic Buffalina and the Ricotta with Zucchini flowers and Bacon pizzas. The pizza is super thin, the dough is amazing and the tomato sauce really tasty. We also tried the Tiramisu for desert which was really good.

Happy to give this place a 5 star review. It was the best pizza I have ever had. Kept it simple and classic with a margarita and tiramisu. The pizza was flavourful and light, and the tiramisu was not too sweet- tasted more true to form than some others I have had in Italy. Adam was our server and he was attentive and friendly. Overall, a great experience. Just make a note to arrive right on time at open if you don’t have a reservation. We got there at 6:50 (18:50) before their 7 pm open, and the restaurant filled up very quickly.

Truly Neapolitan pizza. Just perfect. Just as it must be. Just as you expect. You will not be disappointed!

Best pizza in town😍 it was so delicious and also cheap and reallly big. I can just recommend. But since it's so delicious, it's better when you are early enough there. Or just reservate a table. Definitely worth it to eat.

One of our favorite pizza restaurants, and restaurants in general, in Naples. The pizzas were amazing, and so were the salads... local and perfectly fresh. It was harder than we thought to find fresh salads in Italy, but we were rewarded at Insolito with delicious greens and tomatoes grown near Vesuvius. We also had some of the craft beer on the menu, which was delicious. The menu was very extensive, with a huge number of options besides pizza. We will have to return to try more!

We visited in October 2020. We had a fantastic meal and the waiter was very friendly. I did not ask his name but we spoke in Italian and he was very patient because we are not fluent in the language. The best way to describe the food is fresh, fantastic quality, honest and very traditional. My father is from Caiazzo and is a trained pizza chef, he makes incredible pizzas so you must take my recommendation - you must visit this restaurant if you travel to Napoli. You will have a great experience. A che vediamo dopo.

Small pizzeria that was just what we needed. The pizzas were amazing even though our second choice was heavy on ingredients and juicy as a result it was still very good. Would definitely recommend. (Also try the tiramisu)

The place is really nice and very traditiknal. The quality of food is super good and the price is very affordable. Moreover, they didn’t try to fool us with prices which is very uncommon in Naples as restaurants there are very much into scamming tourists. The location of the place is central. You shoild visit.

After reading the reviews, I was very excited to try the food here. I really wanted to like the food here, but in the end I just wasn't a fan of any of the food we ordered. I can definitely vouch for the service being warm, the portion sizes generous, and the prices very, very cheap though.

I ordered one of the fried pizza with ragu and mozzarella. One of the best pizza I have had in my stay in naples. Such rich flavours. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly service, great quality food, and great price! On our stay in Naples we dined here nearly every night (the only night we didn’t was because it was closed), which I think speaks to how much we liked the place! We tried the pizza, meatballs, and melanze parmigiana (the best we’ve ever tasted), and their tomato sauce is simply amazing. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic pizza place. Delicious napoletan style pizza, but delicious pasta as well. Very small but cosy place with only i door seating. Very friendly staff and the pizza is cheap. It is a bit off the beaten paths and that's lovely.

I heard about the place, and took pizzas for my guests in Napoli...pizza came in an awful conditions...tomato sauce too salty, a salad in a pizza box (what the hell is that...?) If you cant do a good take away service don't do it, secondly, they were VERY late, saying "it arrives in 5 min" when eventually it was 40,overall more than a hour and a half for 6 pizzas and a salad.. P.s I live in Naples, they don't meet, in my opinion a good service Standart of other places

Great place with delicious food. We had lunch there the last day of our stay in Naples and came back for dinner as well. The waiters are polite and work fast. Pizzas are baked in oven and are superb. My husband is vegan and he had a very tasty pizza with vegetables the first time and pasta with tomatoes and eggplants the second time. I definitely recommend Insolito - traditional italilian cuisine and great service.

This place is a gem - must visit. Pizza Filetto con Bufala was amazing out of this World. Soft and crunchy base with Mozzarella. Tiramisu was very delicious. Highly recommended
