Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant on our final night in Japan. It is a tiny little place immediately opposite the driveway entrance to the ANA Crown Plaza hotel which is where we were staying. The one-man show was impressive. As was the food. We had such a lively time. The prawns were massive and delicious. The kids loved cooking the Okonomiyaki and to our surprise, even enjoyed eating bit despite the presence of vegetables. It was just such a funny little place. And the host was so attentive. The prices were really reasonable and the drinks were flowing.

It would be a serious mistake to judge this book by its cover. Humble building a short walk from Ana Crowne Hotel. Dishes as little as $6 Australian (total for family of three very hungry people $40aud 8 different dishes plus desert). A one man show serving up delicious Japanese cuisine. High quality fresh ingredients and honestly he could almost charge three times as much and it would still be great value. I would highly recommend you try this before wasting money on any of the surrounding hotel buffets (which were all very average and 5 to 10 times the price per person).

A lot of local go there! Apparently a lot of regulars too! The owner does it all and the food is awesome! Simple and delicious!

We had an overnight layover in Narita so instead of going to the hotel restaurant we walked to this small shop serving okonomiyaki and teppanyaki. The restaurant is small and ran by one older gentleman. Despite the language barrier, he was so helpful with showing us how to cook the food. The food was also very delicious! We got yakisoba and 2 okonomiyaki, one was shrimp and the other was beef. I love that you're able to sauce and season it up to your liking! Overall, I'm glad we stopped by this shop and if you're in the area, I highly recommend it!

A little restaurant near the ana crown Plaza. We didn't want to have a formal hotel dinner for our last dinner before leaving Tokyo. So we found this small authentic place and it pleased our expectations. Various Japanese omelets and yakisoba are available, simple and really good. The owner cooked all the dishes in front of us on the big plancha. Careful: only cash is accepted. A dish is between 500 and 700 JPN. We warmly recommend this place.

Awesome little place close to airport hotels. Very busy some people turned away. Lots of friendly people inside from around the world, chatted with people and made some friends. Food was yummy with self service toppings and sauces. You could cook your own or have the lovely albeit busy man cook it for you. It’s a one man show so you do have to wait a bit.

This is worth the short walk down the hill from the Crowne Plaza. The owner runs a one man show and the food is very authentic. Reasonable pricing and a great local experience as opposed to a corporate hotel meal. Highly recommended if you want more of a traditional restaurant experience.

Since I was an only one restaurant nearby the hotel I stayed, the quality of food was amazing and vibe was so good. Don't forget to bring cash!

We left after ~30 minutes waiting and could not even order a beer. There’s only one man doing everything in the shop, can get busy during dinner time and he kept a steady pace. We had a good conversation with a Canadian couple during the waiting time. People smoking next to us made us decide to leave.
