Comfort Japanese food for the stomach before we left for home! I chose the salmon and fish roe combination and it’s nice how the roe burst in the mouth in the hot soup. There’s an additional marinated ingredient which adds flavour to the soup. Otherwise, it was quite light by itself. The other option, Chicken rice, was lighter and slightly on the sour side.

They seem to have moved to near the 4th floor central entrance recently. It's recommended when you want to grab a quick meal before departure. For men, even a large portion would be good.

Awesome place! First meal in Japan and their sea bream meal is amazing. Fresh, full of flavor and good texture. Must try! Ate it for breakfast and it was very comforting

Probably my first time at a Ochazuke restaurant. Surprisingly tasty and I guess it’s also a meal that is a lot more healthier than the other fast food. Will come again.

Half-half is the best, loved it! Love the idea of two bowls = 1 portion.

A small area serving up a variety of delicious light savoury meals. Pour the dashi broth in the pot all over the chazuke rice bowl until its covered. Enjoy. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Its akin to tapas... with rice. End it with the Yebisu beer. Expect to spend JPY1200 per person.

Located inside terminal 1 of Narita airport. This gem offers chazuke. Which is tea dashi broth that you pour over rice and the seafood of your choice. A great meal that's not too heavy.

One of the best dashi chazuke i ever had. Once the dashi broth get poured over the raw fish slice and rice, with its heat, it brought out sweetness flavor, aroma and also texture of fish. Side dishes were really great. Perfect for something warm - easy food before flying. Recommend!

If I ever come back to this airport, I’m eating here again. The broth makes you feel comfortable before or after a stressful flight.

Back after 8 years and it is still a very satisfying ‘last meal’ that hits the spot before flying out! Had the seasonal ochazuke with sea bream. Fish was fresh, loved the sesame sauce, pickled lotus roots and dashi stock. The place has gotten really good at quick turnarounds, making it a great pre-flight meal option. Superb value for such a comforting meal. Leave with a warm belly.

It was a small shop, with limited choice. Provided those meal that either raw fish (sashimi) or roasted one on rice set. We saw the size of the meal not so much, and thought that it was just right as we had had the in flight breakfast not long ago. End up find that the taste really great and the quantity just right for the breakfast. This is the first meal I took in Japan on my 2019 visit. It make a great start for the trip. While enjoying the simple and fresh food, I was full of expectation in the coming food I could have in Japan! Keep it up! Lots of supporter standing in front of your shop!

Food was delivered pretty quickly, good choice if you may be a tiny bit in a rush but need something good to fill you up. Best ochazuke I have tried so far. Still thinking about this meal!

👍👍 I was glad to eat here after a LONG time before. Imagine a world where all airport sushi is even close to being this good. If your flight is remotely close to this place, it is worth skipping the dining choices in the front and waiting until you get through security so you can eat here. The staff ru...
