New hotel. Beautiful surrounding landscape. Great design. Clean. They have even arranged a small ethnographic museum in the basement that is truly worth seeing: old traditional costumes and household objects representative for the town and the ethnographic area of Oaș Land. Luna Șes is an under construction mountain resort area. Not far from the hotel, at the foot of the Pietrosu Peak at Luna Șes, lays the Monastery Hermitage Saint Archdeacon Stefan („Sfântul Arhidiacon Ștefan” in native language). The monastic complex, of a charming architectural and spiritual beauty, consists of a Maramureș wooden church with a wooden cross, a monastic wooden house and a fence braided in the traditional Oaș style.

We stayed at Hotel Poezia in December. We wanted to visit Maramureș and we found this place because we were looking for accommodation with a spa. And we discovered this gem in the middle of the forest. We stayed for 4 nights and it felt like we were the only guests. Everything is clean and in great condition. The swimming pool is huge and it's exactly what you need after getting out of the sauna. We had the jacuzzi (and the whole spa) just for ourselves so we felt like royalty. The restaurant is open until 10 pm and the food is great. Prices are a bit high, but since you are so remote, there aren't any alternatives. We had a room with a view to the forest with a small balcony and it was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. The location is ideal for a short holiday in Maramureș. You can make day trips to Săpânța, Săpânța Peri, Sighetu Marmației, Bârsana Monastery or Baia Mare. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the staff of Hotel Poezia were so friendly, they even called our room to invite us to dinner before the kitchen closed (since there are no other options to eat they cared about us not to sleep hungry). Excellent experience. Thanks!

1 minus star for the water in the pool - extremely cold 1 star in minus for the extra chlor added in the swimming pool, our eyes were hurring, we were lucky because we took only one bath, but our friends children were badly addected because they took several. 1 star in minus because we waited for our food to come forat least 2 hours... Also the room was kind of small and the prices high, higher than for a 4 stars hotel in Cluj... Other than that, the view is nice, too bad for the above mentioned negative aspects.

Loved it, amazing place and great staff very friendly. Bathrooms from rooftop rooms a bit uncomfortable specially if you're tall.

Very very nice hotel. Only had dinner here but wish we were able to stay. Incredible sunset views as well. The service was a bit rough only because they are short staffed

The hotel is located in a very wonderful area, surrounded by hills and and forest. Everything is new and very elegant, very pleasant esthetically. They have spa, gaming area, nice restaurant. The gaming area is in the basement where they host an exhibition of historical etnographical objects and photos. The spa area is in a great state, very new. The receptionist was nice and helpful. It was very clean everywhere. The room is nice, large balcony and beautiful view. The service at the restaurant was good, the dishes we had were ok. Comfortable sleep in the bed, good mattress. We chose this place mostly for spa and the experience was bad there. We tried to communicate in advance on Booking regarding the facilities and turning on the saunas, but they did not respondyand the saunas were off. After almost 2 hours the dry one was at 45 degrees, not hot enough, and due to risk of power outage we were asked not to turn on the wet one. The big pool water was probably around 20 degrees, very cold, could not be used, only the jacuzzi got warmer in the end. Overall it was not warm enough in that spa space and on top of that power was going out occasionally. The restaurant menu has 2 parts, one with Romanian dishes and more reasonable prices, and one with international dishes some of which are more fancy and a lot more pricey, often with stickers to show price increases. There is almost no cell phone service and unfortunately we happened to need it, WiFi also weak. The window of our room was towards an area where all kitchen smells were coming in. The breakfast was in large quantity but all pre-packaged food, regular mid range off the shelf and full of preservatives and colorants, nothing local or healthy in an area which thrives in local produce and overall not at the standard of such an elegant place. We happened to have a stay which was below our expectations also considering the price we paid and other stays we had in the area, but the place has a lot of potential and it can definitely be better. Loud noise from power generator prevents from fully enjoying natural sounds like birds on the side where we had the room.

Having traveled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels around the world, I can confidently say that Poezia Hotel in Romania stands out as a gem among them. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking mountain views that enveloped the hotel. It's not just a visual treat; the serene ambiance has a therapeutic effect, rejuvenating the mind and soul. The interior design is a testament to the rich and authentic Romanian culture. Every corner of the hotel tells a story, and the oriental showrooms are a delightful surprise, adding an exotic touch to the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Poezia leaves no stone unturned. Whether you want to take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, relax in the Jacuzzi, or detoxify in the sauna, this hotel has got you covered. It's also worth noting that the hotel is family-friendly, making it an ideal destination for travelers of all ages. Great place. If you're looking for a blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and top-notch facilities, this is the place to be.
