Ridiculously tasty. Stopped in, grabbed a quiet booth by the window and filled up on appies, entree and pitchers of Happy Hour beer while watching cool cars and interesting pedestrians go by. Parking can be a test to find a spot during busy days/times but the persistence pays off. Everything we ordered was fantastic. 2 kinds of wings, garlic soy dry ribs, Ceasar salad, lobster mac and cheese, deep fried pickles, we had no room for dessert which probably wouldn't disappoint judging by the tasty feast we enjoyed. Great pub for catching games on the telly, for people/car watching by the windows. Great menu, lots of seating, with a secondary more intimate modern lounge between the tavern and the hotel. That area would be great for a semi-private gathering. Our guy was also amazing, thank you for your aqesome help and service!

I am going to be as honest as I don't give 2 stars often. The server was new and very sweet. There were 6 of us and our food experience all differed. The meat pizza was very good. The chicken fingers were also fine. The chili cheese fries made my daughter happy and the burger was yummy according to my son. The beef dip was meh. Too much bread and they didn't even toast the thick bun. It tasted fine enough though, just missing the extra attention. The 2 stars is for the Bibimbap. I know I shouldn't be ordering Asian food from a pizza place but usually when a restaurant puts a single Asian dish on their menu, they try to do it well. First, none of the flavours went together, it was like they tossed in random ingredients from other dishes. The only mildly Asian thing was the sauce that seemed like it was sriacha and soy mixed together...which in any bibimbap...you wouldn't need. Second, they advertised it was crispy rice as it is traditionally in a Bibimbap...However, it was a pile of steamed and unseasoned plain jasmine rice. Lastly and most importantly, the mushrooms tasted off and I ended up with a terrible and rotten gut for 2 days after from eating 1 mushroom. I am hoping it was just a new chef and not what they actually serve on the daily because...gross. Please do better.

Good food. Terrible service. First time here and sadly Don't want to come back. No one at the front so we waited a bit and then sat ourselves. No rush since no one saw us right away, no worries. The blonde waitress with glasses "served" us. She asked us what we wanted to drink and said "waters for now" emplying we would get more after the meal, but she Took our food order and then we never saw her again, so much for drinks i guess.. Didn't top up waters, didn't ask us how the food was going. We waited WAY to long to even get a bill. Even put our coats on, put card on the table and looked at several other servers and still nothing. 20 minutes before we got our bill.

Tried to come here. The girl looked over our covid info with a fine toothed comb!!!! Our shots was not up for the 28 day waiting period. I never been turned away before. Went elsewhere for supper happy not to give you guys business.

Standard pub fare, smaller portions w nothing particularly notable . Despite that, a good beer selection.

We sat for about ten minutes before someone came to ask if we’d been served. He then made no suggestions, pointed to the tap list. We also saw a mouse running around the front tables which made us leave.

Got this bibinbap bowl and wasn't good at all would not get that again. The meat was way over cooked

A great sports bar to go to in Nelson. Don’t like sports? Well they do great food! I had the pulled pork sandwich which was very flavourful and not fatty. There are multiple TV’s showing lots of sports games. Music system is is very good. I would highly recommend going for dinner there if there is a big game on or if your looking to go with a group of people. The vibe is very social and warm however if you’re table is by the door you will inevitably have a draft if every time the door opens. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Great and convenient place to eat at considering I was staying in the attached hotel. Lunch was the pictured potato skins with salsa and several Crown and cokes. Dinner was Carnivore pizza and more drinks. Loved the atmosphere, and the staff was amazing. Cannot wait to visit again!!! My visit was March 31, 2023.

Ok, so if you’re not from Nelson, November is Burger Month! I found this out accidentally when I came in the middle of November and was greeted by nearly forty burger choices, all made with the intention of being THE BEST burger in town! The variety was insane, and nothing I tried disappointed. Uptown has some really friendly and welcome staff, I’ve already mentioned the food, and if you like a small but varied selection of beers, this place did that well too. If you’re in the area, especially if it’s November, do yourself a favour and come try the menu.

Pretty neat sports bar with a old school classy aesthetic. Cocktails are really good and the food is nice too. Friendly staff. The chicken sandwich is excellent.

Ordered the two lobster tails for dinner. Tails were very dry & bland. I had to soak them a lot in the melted butter that was provided just to get a bit of flavour. Not worth the money 👎. Service was good though.

Awesome sports bar, has all the games on 20+ TV's. Food is great and all made in-house. Service is fantastic and great beers on tap. Nothing better in the Kootenays. A+

It's a sports bar and exactly what you would expect. The appetizers were huge portions so ordering one per person will probably be more than you can eat alone. Great value for the $$.

Was here 2 weeks in a row for their triva night. The place was full, it's a good time.

Typical pub vibe, service was great but the food did take a really long time. The place was super busy we went on a Friday night. They had a roast beef buffet going if thats your things..lots of different games playing on the screens. Over all a good sports like pub.

Relatively expensive food for the quality, it's pretty good and the beer selection is nice. Definitely recommend for some quick eats and a beer

Always good, the benefit of sharing a high end kitchen really shows off here. Won't be disappointed with anything on the menu!

Had lunch today with my son and 2 grandsons, the service was excellent and we tried the Peanut Butter Burger and it may sound different but it was so delicious I will have it again. My 8 year old grandson had the Cheese Pizza and said "this is the best quality pizza I have ever eaten" .

Very friendly and efficient service. The food is great. I can't wait to see what's for dinner tonight.
