I usually get take out orders from this restaurant, food is goooood & authentic. Chelany biryani (vegetarian) is my all time favourite. Highly recommend the delicious and authentic Indian cuisine with the wonderful option to customize the spice level. They were very accommodating with my special requests like making the food without onion and garlic for my mother who was visiting, and it was still savored and incredibly delicious. Many thanks for their thoughtful customization!

Whenever I am in Berlin for some days, I try to go there for dinner. There is a big variety of meals to choose from. They are offering many vegetarian or vegan dishes. I can especially recommend the Pakistani style food, which is on the menus not so often. The food comes with an extra salad and a great portion of rice. When having a main course you always get two papadams as a starter and three different sauces. The green sauce is tasty, but quite hot. I was always content with the staff, which is offering a friendly service. English is spoken here, too. All in all it is very good value for money.

Whoops! I think we ordered way too much food! Chelany-Mitte Restaurant is a perfectly pleasant place to pitch up in the evening and grab a curry. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the service was just right, so we didn't feel rushed or that we had to work hard to grab attention for drinks etc. A mix of guests and the layout made for a relaxed, almost bistro feel to the place. Don't expect fine dining if you are a true curry fan. That said, with an extensive menu and hearty, well-prepared dishes, there should be something to satisfy everyone.

Easily a 5 star experience, without hesitation! Every detail, down to the salad was well executed. After over a week of desperately searching, we finally encountered the spice and seasoning we'd been missing. The Scampi (Shrimp/Prawn) Tikka showed up sizzling on a fajita style platter...the presentation AND flavor was on point! The fish stew was also great! We spotted red fish on the menu and went for it! The bhatura was authentic and the naan was huge! The entire wait staff and kitchen staff included was so warm and hospitable! The service plus all of the other mouth watering options will have us back there again in no time! THANK YOU! Vielen Danke! #BLACKINBERLIN

Wow! You don't expect that. Very, very spicy food. Not to be confused with hot, some dishes are hot, and all of them are full of spice. We ordered Chicken Dahiwala (white meat, creamy sauce) and Chicken Chili (amazing chili taste, the hot grade just right for a European consumer). The size of the dishes is just right: it feeds you well, but you won't leave food on the plate. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available at a very reasonable price. Amazing evening ambience.

Awesome food with amazing ambience... We had lamb curry with bhatura...It was very delicious...But the lassi we ordered was a little bit salty which we thought would be sweet...We were also given some free starters which tasted really good too.. The waiters were also very nice..I liked the place very much...

One of my favourite restaurant in Berlin. There are many Indian and Pakistani restaurants, but this one matches the best to a real Pakistani taste in my opinion. The prices are also very responsible and mango lassi is my favourite drink to order without any thoughts.

Daal Tharka and Lahori Kabab was awesome. Their serving portions are always really good. Service is good and staff are friendly. Serving time is not long and on house papdam served before food with the dips makes the waiting time all worth it. I can definitely recommend the garlic bread and Daal tharka.

The lunch menu is quite cheap. Comes with soup (which is very delicious) and a lot of rice and roti. The curry itself is a little under seasoned but the quality of the ingredients are very good. Lassi is tasteless.

Wirklich Tolles Restaurant.

Amazing ambient, food was incredibly tasty and the portions were large (on the picture only 1 portion! Excellent service and don't get me started on the cocktails - cheap and one of the best tasting long island ice tea I had the pleasure of tasting!

The Palak Panneer was so good it’s probably one of the best Palak paneers I have ever had in Berlin. The chole bhature also had sufficient spices and good flavour. Heard the chicken biriyani is good too here - haven’t tried I though. The place is quite spacious and definitely worth a visit if you want to have some good Indian styled food

Very nice authentic restaurent. You will get the exact same taste like your home. Specially you will get nicely cooked naan. The staff is also quite poilte and serves you well. In terms of price it's super cheap compared to other restaurent in the vicinity. Recomended if you are visiting Berlin.

Really nice people with excellent service. If you're looking for authentic Pakistani or North Indian food this ain't it but it's a distant cousin. You'll meet the family, in a manner of speaking! So the fourth star is really for the effort and I feel for them!

One of the best butter chickens I have ever had ! Same goes for paneer makhni. Garlic naan is enormous, fresh and delicious. Lamb tikka was also very juicy, perfectly balanced with spice. They have happy hour with great cocktails from 6pm. We had mango margarita (strongly recommended), mojito(a bit on the sour side), zombie and planter’s punch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough. We stumbled upon it for lunch and came back for dinner because we loved it so much.

The food was very delicious and was so much that I take some to home. The gave me free appetizers and the plate that I ordered came with extra bread (it didn’t happen to me till now). The waiters were very nice and veerryy attentive :) -1 The toilets weren’t the cleanest

A slightly bad copy of many other Indian restaurants around here in berlin, portion size was good but quality was just okay, spices were very mild. I ordered a vindaloo and asked the waiter if it was hot and he said it was european hot but I don’t think that it was hot even by those standards, both currys were okay. Chicken tandori was bad and dry, it seemed like it was cooked a long time ago as the thigh was still cold when served despite the cast iron pan on which it is served. The minced meat samosa was bad too. Not really worth visiting unless you are very close by.

For 8-9 euro for lunch you get a small soup, salad, fried bread, rice and a tasty dish. I already tried 3 different ones, all were great with deep, rich, satisfying taste - unlike many other indian places, where food tastes like butter. No complaints

I'm confused which was worse: the food or the service. Terrible experience. We, a group of 20 people walked in an empty Restaurant. Even after 30 minutes, the orders were not even taken for all of us. We had to go to the reception eventually for ordering. We expected the food to compensate for the terrible Service, but that was even worse. So I guess I can say it is the worst Indian subcontinent restaurant in Berlin.

Ordering butter chicken never fails ❤️ but the Cheese Naans was not as good as expected. Good service with a lovely atmosphere, the authentic feeling with indian music is a good add-on.

Lee was a great server. Excellent fresh food. We got shots for this review. Open late - perfect for a post-comedy dinner.

My friend had scampi masala and I had chicken tikka masala. I’ve never gotten a chicken tikka masala without any sauce before, so that was a bit disappointing (hence one star reduction). Friendly staff, fast service, reasonably priced. A tip - you can only pay by cash!

I ordered butter chicken masala which was one of the grossest dish I have ever eaten. There were many cartilage that cannot be eaten and the chicken was burnt. Absolutely disgusting and will never order from this restaurant again

👍 The queue can get really long in a very short amount of time. We were lucky and waited for about 5 minutes before placing our order. The place was fully packed both inside and outside after we picked up our food. We got the original döner but I was unsure about the sauce they used. The sandwich was...

👍👍 Best kebab ever that I had! I was not and am still not a fan of kebab but I absolutely love Rüyam kebab. They have good service.
