This place had better days for sure. I remember the first time eating here before COVID-19 and it was clean with large portions. For sure, now the menu has shrunk by 80%, with food portions cut by at least 50% and prices increased by around 30%. Tables are dirty, floors are dirty - just the overall general management inside the restaurant is poor. Flavors are still great but it isn't enough to justify even a 3 or 4 rating as many other aspects have fallen far behind. I'd rather they increase their price even a bit more and return to original portions and menu options. That or go straight into take outs and temporary quick bite dine-ins instead of full on restaurant. The thing about running a business, especially a small business, is that when one can't really afford to provide something good to the customer, it will come through very quickly and the business will lose more business - at an exponential rate. It just gives customers a feeling of cheapness and that is deadly to a business. One important thing to note is the Edmonds area isn't particularly high class living and people here put value above all else - sometimes even taste. Although rent is getting higher and higher, a business should still not show cheapness or else best to open in a location with more affordable rent. Before the pandemic, I would have recommended this place as a hidden gem, but now it is more or less holding onto its future potentials of recovery by a thread.

I don't usually order food an hour before closing. I thought they closed at 11pm based on the hour of operations online, but I found out later it was actually 10pm closing. Even though it was close to closing, this family run business still cooked up an amazing combo platter for me. The combo platter had chicken, kebab, beef, tomatoes over rice. The proteins and tomatoes were perfectly grilled with right amount of char. The meats were tender and juicy. I was only going to eat half and save half for tomorrow, but I ended up eating majority of the entire plate and fell asleep in food coma bliss. 10/10 I would do it again.

Food and portion was much better when it opened. With the pandemic and inflation, prices are much higher with smaller portions. Tastes will depend on the dish you order and the date and time you go (e.g. busy hours, you are likely to get overcooked food). The chicken breast this time was tender, not the barg steak was chewy and not the freshest meat. Options for middle Eastern food is limited in the area, so this place is likely popular, especially with takeout. Interior is a bit drab and dingy with limited seating. Table looked like it wasn't wiped (dried rice on the table). Personal preference, but I would rather have similar cuisine either in North Vancouver or Coquitlam, as the tastes, portion and prices are much better in these two areas.

Great food. The place could be brightened up a little more. An updated menu and more lively environment could definitely help. Decent location. The halal meat here was delicious and the portions were alright.

Great kabobs at reasonable prices. Owner operated small restaurant, with friendly service and great food to boast. The food was delicious, so much so that I went back in less than week. It's a 45 minute drive for me and I was not disappointed the second time either.

Ok, this may seem like a very small mom n pop shop and people might see the place and think it's a dive. Looks are deceiving right? I must say do not judge a book by it's cover!! I have to say this restaurant has the best Persian Kebobs that I ever had! I highly recommend the chicken, steak, and beef kabobs. These kebobs are cooked with perfection. The meat just melts and is the perfect tender. The meat is nicely marinated and will make you wonder how the cook prepares the meat because it is SO DELICIOUS 😍 The rice is good too. Not greasy. The Persian tea was really good. Served in cute glass ware. The only thing I didn't like was the salad dressing. Tasted like it was made out of goat milk? The bread is ok. Can improve on the Persian bread department. The price is very decent. For the kebob combo that has beef, chicken, and steak the cost is $25 that serves two. Good value! 😍 I highly recommend trying this place out.

This used to be a good place but now it’s getting out of control. The guy working cashier doesn’t speak a word of English, and they’re not using short grain rice instead of basmati. It’s a shame because I really like this place.

First things first, the food was delicious however, they don't have bathroom or a way to wash your hands. They didn't serve bread with the meal even though it is traditionally served with bread. For such highly priced meals, it is expected that the tables, floors, and windows are cleaned but they are not. We didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as customers. The menu looks really sad and 20 years old. The owner(s) need to seriously put a couple of $ in this restaurant. Once again, the food was delicious but it is not a location we would come back to dine-in again. I was disappointed and I wish they put a little more effort into the work they do in this restaurant because they DO serve delicious traditional food. Come on, a little bit off effort, and a bit of TLC, tender, love & care and a pinch of dedication WILL go a long way.

A regular here now. Was trying to find a kebab place near to my home and found this little gem. I wouldn’t suggest to dine in, hard to understand the employees but nonetheless the food is absolutely flavourful!

There was NO washroom which is illegal when you have a Dine-in. The guy didn't even give us water!!! The food was mediocre at best. There was 4 pieces of chicken kaboob..and a quater of an onion! They gave us a little tub of butter, but NO bread!! No Service at all!! Definitely not coming back...sad really cos you want to support our Muslim community!!

LAZY!!!! Always closing early and food sucks. Do you want to make money or not. Countless times I have ordered at better places because they closed early. YOU ARE LOSING BUSINESS DUE TO YOUR LAZYNESS. GOOD JOB!!

This place is a hidden gem on Edmonds in Burnaby. Family owned small restaurant with amazing food and good prices. Best homemade style kebobs with tasty side dishes. The owner's are amazing and very, very nice people. I would give this restaurant and the owner's 10 stars if I could. Will be coming back for years to come. Thank you for making great food.

Good food, I always do takeout and the portions are big. Not really a sit down place, but you can if you want to. I never have any complaints, and have been coming here for years.
